I dealt with abusive cheaters. People that cheat by nature are abusive in some or all ways. I’m disappointed that for whatever reason she thought it would be ok to lie about this on RUclips of all places. People look up to her people lie enough as is on here about all sorts. This is just adding to the problem. This is huge reason why people like us don’t report the abuse we go or gone through. Because of the amount of people that think it’s ok to lie about it. Just because she said at the end that she doesn’t want to take away from people that go through it doesn’t make it ok. It’s pretty much a hidden im gonna say this bad thing but….

I hear what both of you are saying and I am very sorry about what you both have gone through. I too have been in an abusive relationship during and after. However, I recognize that what she said in her storytime is no different than a fiction novel or a movie. Yes, typically you can avoid theme to avoid triggers, but to try to differentiate between the two. Yes, cheating comes with manipulation, but cheating doesn't necessarily equal abuse to the person being cheated on/betrayed. Even if her story was true, it doesn't mean that it was a traumatic event for her, so it's important to remember that our story is our story and other people's stories are their stories.
