Don't talk about placements for such colleges. CMI is a college where brilliant minds go to do epic shit, not just get a job and be a slave to a American companies. They are there to change the world.

Obviously Tomato is one There's no real book actually Like I can give the names but most of the stuff in those books is irrelevant You need mentors to tell you which parts need studying Arthur Engel comes to mind, Mathematical Circles is another nice one For calculus I refer to undergrad real analysis books
Exam is on 8th u can still prepare. As isi and cmi have high level maths u choose what u want yo prepare. However isi/cmi maths preparation will definitely improve ur understanding of maths

I don't see anything on CMI website apart from 12th pass. Also there doesn't seem to be any age criterion I believe? Can someone please answer? It will be really helpful for me

Yes, you can give. There is no age limit criteria but should have maths as a subject in 10+2.
