I can relate to her so much, I lived like that from 13 to 17 years old in the boarding school. Well i'm not study that hard at first but our life is full of schedule from 7.30 a.m to 11 p.m. it become more pack when we have huge exam that year.
This video actually says a lot. What people don’t notice is that it doesn’t matter whether you go to school or become an idol, life is hard these days. Everyone’s lives are so career focused. Instead of playing resting and studying a bit, the students go to school, attend cram school then again study at home. There’s clearly a difference between elementary school kid and the middle schoolers.

뭔가 되게 몽글몽글하네 아이돌은 연생 때 학교를 다닌다고 해도 보통 연습실에 있는 시간이 더 많으니까 친구들이랑 추억도 많이 없을 거고 학교생활에서의 추억도 다른 애들보다는 적을 텐데 저렇게 학생들이 어떻게 보내는지 들으면서 뭔가 나는 어땠었지 회상하기도 하고 내가 연습생이 아니었으면 그냥 평범한 일상을 보내는 학생이었다면 어땠을까 생각도 해보게 됐을 것 같음 학교생활 하면서 친구들이랑 추억도 쌓고 가족들이랑 더 붙어서 많은 걸 했어도 좋았겠다 하면서 가끔은 그런 생각이 들겠지만 연습생 생활 하면서 지금의 멤버들과도 좋은 추억들 쌓고 지금도 그러고 있으니까 항상 아프지 말고 건강하게 쭉 활동했으면 좋겠다 그냥 엔시티로서 지금 잘하고 있다고 너무 멋진 인생을 살고 있다고 말해주고 싶음 예쁜 우리 드림이들 고맙다 데뷔해줘서

I’ve seen a lot of Korean celebrities do this, I feel like most do a good job of keeping their famous lives and family lives completely separate and they raise their children in a normal, grounded way.

근데 지성이가 초등학생 부터 연습생을 했는데 친구들하고 놀았던 기억이 초등학생 때 기억이라고 하니까 조금 마음이 쓰리다 하도 연습생을 너무 어려서 부터 시작 했으니까 중고등 때 학창 시절 추억이 다른 사람들은 똑같이 있는데 지성이만 없다는게 진짜 마음이 아프다 지성이의 청소년 때는 연습에 데뷔에 그 어린 나이에 감당 못할 상황이나 순간들이 많았을 텐데 연습생 시간이랑 데뷔 합쳐서 거의 8~9년 동안 버텨 줘서 고마워 지성아

I am so proud of NCT Dream for pursuing their dreams and to all the students who are working hard for theirs. Fighting everyone! Most of odg's videos really make me reflect so much in life.
Renjun reminding himself of what his goals are before sleeping and what Jaemin said that you have to have something you love to hold on so you can go forward even when the situation's hard, they both remind me of how my mind wanders off when I can't sleep, just thinking of what I want in my life in the future and what I want to achieve in the career I want so I can go on and not give up. This is why these two are on the list of my biases in nct. I relate to them sm and thay inspire me too, like a looot! I just love them ( ⚈̥̥̥̥̥́⌢⚈̥̥̥̥̥̀)❤️
Same, like these 2 may look so different in the outside. One is labelled as the weird introvert and the other is the innocent boy. But truly these 2 are pretty similar with each other, they are very mature and they know themselves well. Not saying that the other doesn't have this admirable side, haechan and mark, we know how they are. Jisung has already begun to show maturity in the recent years. And chenle and jeno also have an amazing sense of self. However, these stands out the most with their sensitivity and these 2 are my "biases" in the dreamies.

It makes me really sad that the high school student skips dinner so she can keep studying without getting tired despite the fact that even with that “saved” time, she still isn’t sleeping until 10 or 11. When asked about how she relieves stress, she didn’t even have an answer - just recalled something that motivated her to work harder than she already is. Her teacher must have been worried about her. Expectations on Korean students are too high - I hope she’s healthy and can find time to rest. It hurts to know that regardless of choosing idol life or retaining life as a student, a lot of Korean kids really aren’t living as children when they’re high school aged
That kind of strict school routine is really common in Asia, but sadly, we cannot also do anything about it. Most parents are also pressuring their child on their studies with high expectation, it’s like students are just forced to motivate themselves to keep on going.
High school life is really hard you just keep pushing yourself to get higher marks it's like the base of the building you need to work harder so you can have a good future i think it's the hardest part of students life
Not only in Korea but in Asia generally. Even more when you're a medical student. The fact that even socializing is limited aside from sleeping because of the demand you have to study. TBH, I even experienced sleeping for only 30 minutes because I have to study the entire night for our Anatomy test the following day. What made me survived was my mindset of acing the test then afterwards, I can finally get some sleep
their education system is unbelievable & should be rethought as whole. if my kids’ nose would bleed all bc of the school & studying I would scream murder. finnish education or waldorf is the best in my opinion korean students are so strong

this is a great content tbh. everyone thinks being an idol is about practicing and then boom your perform on stage. but nobody knows the effort they put, the uncertainties they faced of debuting and even after debuting. I suddenly remembered that renjun said they were supposed to debut before 127.. can u imagine how johnny felt after training for almost 10 years? If I were him, I'd pack my bag but him being Johnny Suh didnt gave up on his dreams although his friends as in exo debuted first Plus what the dreamies faced after turning 20 was hella scary. debuting and then theres nothing planned for them. The best decision SM ever made was making dream a fixed unit
Yeah but Johnny didn’t stay in SoKor the entire 10 years, he went back and forth to Chicago and even graduated College. Dreamies were pressured to at least finish middle school before they had to drop out and attend online classes just to receive their high school diploma. If they didn’t debut or were unsuccessful after all these sacrifices, they would’ve been considered as failures (as an adult) if they returned to ‘normal student routine’.

Whether idol or student or whatever the occupation is, all have its own hardship. No one can say being this is harder than that. Cuz its always different. Just don't give up on what you're doing. You can take a break. Doesn't matter how many times you fall. You still can stand up and keep going. Just don't stop. Keep going even just a tiny bit step😊 its okay if its slow progress. Whoever in hardships now, just know that the results will be worth it after all the struggles. Don't give up and keep going. You can do it!! If you feel that you need to talk with someone abt your problem, just talk it out. Doesn't matter if its small or big problem, it is still a problem.😊 When we want to comfort someone, don't tell them something like "other may suffer worse than you" or "others suffer the same as you, but they can manage". Different people, different mentality. Some can be strong to get through, some may not that strong. Sometimes they just need someone to listen to their problems. Edited: it doesn't matter if you're not the smartest or at the top, cuz life is a journey that you learn from it. Everything that you've learned, one day it will be useful. Mind your attitude towards people around you. That's very important.
Agreed! Everyone has their own intricate nuances in their lives; whether it be hardships, memories, hobbies, etc., we are all living our complex lives. It’s quite overwhelming to think about - the fact that everyone’s minds are so different in so many ways. I think it’s a beautiful thing :). Thank you for the words of encouragement, they are what many people need (including myself). I’ll be going to traditional in-person schooling in a month or so and I haven’t been practicing my instrument for months. Tomorrow (well… in 14 minutes =/) it will be July 1st. I wanted to start practicing today to get a kick start on revising my school related things, but I haven’t gotten to it yet. Kind words from an unknown person is warming 😄. Looking back to my early college days as a medical student, there have been ups and downs throughout my journey too. However, my mother, who is a very successful doctor, would oftentimes remind me these principles, "if you feel tired, take some rest. but always remember not to give up. keep going, keep fighting. at the end of the day, everything will all be worth it" and "it doesn't matter even if you're not the smartest, most talented or skillful in your class. what matters is your overall character/attitude. never lost it because this important tool will be a great factor which determines your future success on your chosen career path" 😊✨ And because of these 2 principles I learned from her, I'm proud to say that finally, I'll be graduating on the last day of July then take the board exam by December 2021 💚
드림 멤버들 자체가 어린 나이에 데뷔 해서 남들 학창시절에 즐겨볼 거 막내가 가장 추억이 없을 듯 14살에 데뷔 한 걸로 알고 있는데 난 얘 열심히 연습실에서 죽어라 몸 뛸 때 난 이불 안에 파묻혀서 3시간이고 4시간이고 낮잠이나 잠 급식 먹기 싫은 날엔 친구랑 반에서 에어컨 빵빵 틀어놓고 과자 뜯어 먹고 애들 의자 다 쓸어 모아서 의자 쌓기나 하고

Maybe, the reason why I feel an unexplainable attachment towards Jaemin is that because we are both raised by a Teacher-Mother. His mom raised such a great son that every mother would want to have and it's cute how Jaemin always mention his mother everytime he remembers her.
My mom is a highschool teacher too and I think I was raised well by my mom. I'm a higly introverted person and my mom is the only one who's trying to communicate with me. I think being raised by them is an advantage cuz most of them knows how kids brain works and what kids/teenagers wants and needs. She's not strict and all. She just supports me in the path I wanted cuz she believes that I know what's right and wrong. I'm proud of my mom.

My mom is also open-minded and lets me speak my mind or call her out/educate her when she suddenly dont understand me or a certain situation like mental health awareness etc. My mom is the very reason why I respect teachers so much and I am super proud to have a Teacher-Mother too because we know that their job is not easy at all.

What people don’t notice is that it doesn’t matter whether you go to school or become an idol, life is hard these days.
Everyone’s lives are so career focused. Instead of playing resting and studying a bit, the students go to school, attend cram school then again study at home. There’s clearly a difference between elementary school kid and the middle schoolers.
even you trainee become an idol or student become doctor, police, teacher, etc. you have to work hard to get it, don't give up, NCT Dream schedule is go to school, practice, performing at events, and more, and student schedule is go to school, learning, and more, even different but they same to work hard to achieve they dream..

뭔가 되게 몽글몽글하네 아이돌은 연생 때 학교를 다닌다고 해도 보통 연습실에 있는 시간이 더 많으니까 친구들이랑 추억도 많이 없을 거고 학교생활에서의 추억도 다른 애들보다는 적을 텐데 저렇게 학생들이 어떻게 보내는지 들으면서 뭔가 나는 어땠었지 회상하기도 하고 내가 연습생이 아니었으면 그냥 평범한 일상을 보내는 학생이었다면 어땠을까 생각도 해보게 됐을 것 같음 학교생활 하면서 친구들이랑 추억도 쌓고 가족들이랑 더 붙어서 많은 걸 했어도 좋았겠다 하면서 가끔은 그런 생각이 들겠지만 연습생 생활 하면서 지금의 멤버들과도 좋은 추억들 쌓고 지금도 그러고 있으니까 항상 아프지 말고 건강하게 쭉 활동했으면 좋겠다 그냥 엔시티로서 지금 잘하고 있다고 너무 멋진 인생을 살고 있다고 말해주고 싶음 예쁜 우리 드림이들 고맙다 데뷔해줘서

Same, like these 2 may look so different in the outside. One is labelled as the weird introvert and the other is the innocent boy. But truly these 2 are pretty similar with each other, they are very mature and they know themselves well. Not saying that the other doesn't have this admirable side, haechan and mark, we know how they are. Jisung has already begun to show maturity in the recent years. And chenle and jeno also have an amazing sense of self. However, these stands out the most with their sensitivity and these 2 are my "biases" in the dreamies.

It makes me really sad that the high school student skips dinner so she can keep studying without getting tired despite the fact that even with that “saved” time, she still isn’t sleeping until 10 or 11. When asked about how she relieves stress, she didn’t even have an answer - just recalled something that motivated her to work harder than she already is. Her teacher must have been worried about her. Expectations on Korean students are too high - I hope she’s healthy and can find time to rest. It hurts to know that regardless of choosing idol life or retaining life as a student, a lot of Korean kids really aren’t living as children when they’re high school aged
That kind of strict school routine is really common in Asia, but sadly, we cannot also do anything about it. Most parents are also pressuring their child on their studies with high expectation, it’s like students are just forced to motivate themselves to keep on going.
I do that too sometimes just to submit assignments and projects and study for upcoming quizzes and exams
High school life is really hard you just keep pushing yourself to get higher marks it's like the base of the building you need to work harder so you can have a good future i think it's the hardest part of students life
Not only in Korea but in Asia generally. Even more when you're a medical student. The fact that even socializing is limited aside from sleeping because of the demand you have to study. TBH, I even experienced sleeping for only 30 minutes because I have to study the entire night for our Anatomy test the following day. What made me survived was my mindset of acing the test then afterwards, I can finally get some sleep
their education system is unbelievable & should be rethought as whole. if my kids’ nose would bleed all bc of the school & studying I would scream murder. finnish education or waldorf is the best in my opinion

this is a great content tbh. everyone thinks being an idol is about practicing and then boom your perform on stage. but nobody knows the effort they put, the uncertainties they faced of debuting and even after debuting.
I suddenly remembered that renjun said they were supposed to debut before 127.. can u imagine how johnny felt after training for almost 10 years? If I were him, I'd pack my bag but him being Johnny Suh didnt gave up on his dreams although his friends as in exo debuted first
Plus what the dreamies faced after turning 20 was hella scary. debuting and then theres nothing planned for them. The best decision SM ever made was making dream a fixed unit
Yeah but Johnny didn’t stay in SoKor the entire 10 years, he went back and forth to Chicago and even graduated College. Dreamies were pressured to at least finish middle school before they had to drop out and attend online classes just to receive their high school diploma. If they didn’t debut or were unsuccessful after all these sacrifices, they would’ve been considered as failures (as an adult) if they returned to ‘normal student routine’.

Yeah. Everyone has their own hardship. Don't try to compare cuz it never be the same. Whether idol or student or whatever the occupation is, all have its own hardship. When we want to comfort someone, don't tell them something like "other may suffer worse than you" or "others suffer the same as you, but they can manage". Different people, different mentality. Some can be strong to get through, some may not that strong. Sometimes they just need someone to listen to their problems.
Edited: it doesn't matter if you're not the smartest or at the top, cuz life is a journey that you learn from it. Everything that you've learned, one day it will be useful. Mind your attitude towards people around you. That's very important.

I’ll be going to traditional in-person schooling in a month or so and I haven’t been practicing my instrument for months. Tomorrow (well… in 14 minutes =/) it will be July 1st. Looking back to my early college days as a medical student, there have been ups and downs throughout my journey too. However, my mother, who is a very successful doctor, would oftentimes remind me these principles, "if you feel tired, take some rest. but always remember not to give up. keep going, keep fighting. at the end of the day, everything will all be worth it" and "it doesn't matter even if you're not the smartest, most talented or skillful in your class. what matters is your overall character/attitude. never lost it because this important tool will be a great factor which determines your future success on your chosen career path" 😊✨
And because of these 2 principles I learned from her, I'm proud to say that finally, I'll be graduating on the last day of July then take the board exam by December 2021 💚

Maybe, the reason why I feel an unexplainable attachment towards Jaemin is that because we are both raised by a Teacher-Mother. His mom raised such a great son that every mother would want to have and it's cute how Jaemin always mention his mother everytime he remembers her.
Teacher-mother means your mom knows how to communicate with kids, wich is good. Too bad not every parent knows how to do it...
My mom is a highschool teacher too and I think I was raised well by my mom. I'm a higly introverted person and my mom is the only one who's trying to communicate with me. I think being raised by them is an advantage cuz most of them knows how kids brain works and what kids/teenagers wants and needs. She's not strict and all. She just supports me in the path I wanted cuz she believes that I know what's right and wrong. I'm proud of my mom.

My mom is also open-minded and lets me speak my mind or call her out/educate her when she suddenly dont understand me or a certain situation like mental health awareness etc. My mom is the very reason why I respect teachers so much and I am super proud to have a Teacher-Mother too because we know that their job is not easy at all.
