Yes, I know about OBS!
I didn’t record this in OBS because it was recording with an abysmal frame rate of seconds per frame. However, I fiddled around with the settings for a while and got it working. Part 2 will be recorded on OBS, for free.

How did you fix it? I have the same problem on OBS
its an infinite cycle, the knight breaks out of its god battling purgatory and ventures the outside world it once knew. but curiosity encroaches and beckons it to venture back to godhome, starting the cycle once more
that sounds like an actual hollow knight ending

Suggestions for part 2:
Go to The Abyss
Get a non-Godhome ending
Try to get essence for White Palace
I wonder if you can walk through the abyss lake without activating the lantern
and see if it's Jiji or Ijji in the cave

Im not far in the video but you do have more than 12 notches you just can't see them
You can have infinite masks, and 20 notches, with a maximum of 4 vessel fragmets, if you add the fifth the game After you fill up the fourth, the game will make the others unusable

It must be because there is no sprite in the game for a broken soul vessel in godseeker mode, since you're not intended to die outside of the Dream world.

it's the default mode, so it's normal, I've started this in ss mode, when you die you lose even if is godmode
I have a few things I’m wondering about. Is it possible to get essence at all? If so, can you get dream wielder from seer? If not, can you get nailmaster’s glory from sly? Can you fight gpz? What happens if you go to broken vessel or soul master? Can you get a dreamer and infect forgotten crossroads? But most importantly, can you fight the normal hollow knight/radiance and beat the game that way? Also I wonder if you can get shade cloak or abyss shriek because they have weird interactions to obtain or if you can open the lifeblood door

He got some essence at 13:53 so this is theoretically possible
Getting a dreamer does make crossroads infected and you can fight the hollow knight and radiance this way. I dont know about the other stuff.
You can’t get nail master’s glory from Sly, he just gives you the dialogue for when you already have it. And if you save Zote you can do all the normal things, including GPZ. As for the rest, you shall see…
I find this very interesting because it reminds me of the major glitches run for the game where they do menu storage to get a similar result. This could all very possible even in current patch!
2:52 i messed around outside godhome already and know a lot of the stuff in the video but i'm pretty sure that salubra's blessing is just enhanced by the QoL mod. faster soul recharge plus no singing
i wonder what would happen if you finished the first two pantheons before opening godseeker's coffin

5:50 is cool, when you c-dashed into hornet 1 the gate wasn't closed, you could've just left haha. Did you find out what happened if you did? does the fight ever start? does the text box just stay forever?
You actually can just leave lol, and the fight starts without you when you go through all the dialogue. I’ll have to test if the text box stays forever though, but I think it might if you leave the room.
You can do it easily using the map
@@phenolphthalein10 If you haven't already, please try getting full soul and beating her with Shade Soul (it might go through the gate, it might not). I don't know if it's going to be enough to beat her with all possible upgrades and beneficial charms, but just to see what's going to happen. Probably not much.
I wonder if you sat at a bench after each time you bought a charm notch if it would give you more?

Please I need more of this. I need more hollow knight content whilst I die inside waiting for silksong and this was actually amazing. I'm really surprised you only have 60 subs, this was epic (I'm now one of them).

what's behind the stone door with simple lock? I'd assume regular shade recovery but maybe since it's non standard you can trade in eggs?
Fight the hollow knight to see if you will get one of the endings after the fight
I think it would be interesting to see what happens if you beat P1-P4, and then leave godhome and enter the normal way.
I’m not too keen on suffering through P3 & 4 again, but I’ll definitely do P1 & 2
@@phenolphthalein10 understandable. I still haven’t beat P4 yet because of pure vessel. I can do the rest of them fairly easily, but pure vessel is just too much for me
@@cosmicvoidtree Yeah, the pure vessel fight is brutal and took me a long time to learn. Honestly I only did it because I wanted to see the funny percent number go up

... Or you can just do what all glitches runners do and get godseeker mode items overwritten on a regular save so you don't have to hack the game.

I have dons this myself and have a few things to say,
masks above 11 are invisible but there, you see above 9 because fragile heart.
For me soul just broke upon getting fith vessel.
notches are similar to masks, there but invisible (looks funny trying to overcharm)
5:23 is this an editing mistake? you killed the moss knight but I didn't see you save the grubby? tell me it's the lag or something
Don't buy video recording software, OBS is open source and works really well !

The gathering swarm thing reminds me of the trident thing in minecraft
Can someone tell me why this mode even exists? Don't you unlock it after the third pantheon? Why would you wanna practice the remaining two pantheons here if your winner attempt could not count to your completion percentage. If I'm missing something out please tell me what is it's use.
its so you can have accses to godhome and all the bosses if you delete your old save file

I just tried this and the flames didn’t appear still. I checked their locations as well but there was nothing there. Thank you though! I definitely missed that

Is this mode just for people to mess around in godhome?
Pretty much, it’s intent was you can start an endgame file with access to all bosses and abilities at any time. However, there is no intended way to leave Godhome. The mode is unlocked after beating pantheons 1, 2 & 3.

I recommend you to use OBS for recording.
I tried that, but unfortunately it doesn’t really work on my laptop. The audio was fine, but the video was in seconds per frame. Thank you though, do you know of any other free ones?

The gate after false knight is breakable only when he slam the floor 8 times in a row
It's still not breakable after that. There's a subtle visual difference, the breakable one has a wood plank, while the unbreakable version is reinforced with metal.
Is does vanilla or modded?
I used benchwarp mod but it’s possible with a complicated glitch
