The subscription fee for TopStep varies depending on the package you choose i.e. $50 USD for a $50k account and is only for the evaluation account aka the trading combine. After you pass, then the subscription is canceled and you no longer pay a monthly subscription fee. In summary, the quicker you pass your evaluation within parameters, the better.

Well, in the future let's say I take another payout of $300 will my balance go back to $0 for the second one too? I guess you're saying, whatever my balance is when I take the first payout becomes my full balance I have to play with forever right? So if I make $20,000 then take a payout of $200 I now have a balance of $19,800. Also, let's say I don't take a payout and just keep letting it build. Is the amount I'm earning each day added on to the $2000 loss limit? or until I exceed $2000 loss limit I still can only lose $2000? Hope that makes sense?

I’ve been trading with MFF and the consistency rule has been part of the reason I’ve gone on such bad tilt these past few weeks, I’m worried I’m about to blow my account and if I do I want to go somewhere where I can have my big winning days and not have to worry about having multiple more just as big winning days following

This is to prevent unrealistic order entry and functionality by allowing SIM traders to place orders that better replicate trading in the live market. @FuturesOutlier yes why wouldn't you be able to? I've gotten multiple payouts with top step some trades were 2 ticks some were over 100 they never said anything.
@Calx91 I think he's asking because some prop firms have micro scalping rules and will deny you payment for having too many trades under a minute. Thankfully, Topstep doesn't have this rule.

You can have up to 5 accounts at one time. Theres no limit to how many accounts you can close and open again. If there was topstep wouldn’t make as much money.
@@Mizu2024-e1p I’m using whatever comes with topstepx but tradovate might be good as well because of the ability to execute trades directly on TradingView. For now I’m using topstepx because I’m on a 50k account and I want to trade micros but when I’m on 150k accounts I will use tradovate because it’s just better with the ability for it to be integrated into TradingView.

Does the "accumulated days" - counter reset? so lets say after 5 days I take a small payout... then accumulated 25 more profitable days which means I'm now at 30 accumulated days... so now I'm free to payout a 100%? or do I need 5 more days?
bro does topstep allow Fractional contracts (e.g., postion size of 0.15, 0.5 just like cfds)...i mean can place order with position size 0.1 or 0.15 just like cfds ?

No payout cap but no single account can have more than 50k of profits in it. That's easily avoided by withdrawing. They'll most likely move you to live after that
Correct me if I'm wrong but in a 50k I make 5k and get 2,500 payout the hard stop remains at 50k ? so then after bringing the account back up to 55k I can once again grt a payout 2,500 and the hard stop remains at 50k ??

Im currently +500$ on my 50K account and i've had 5 trading days with +200$ each. My max drawdown is -1500$. So if i try to take a 125$ payout my max drawdown will change to 0$ and not -1500$?
nonsense. the company forces you to pay every month, but in the end they don’t risk their own balance after the first payment. fx props at least leave the drawdown at their expense and the trader does not risk his money in exchange for a share of the profit. It’s better to start micro with your own funds than to have psychological pressure in the form of subscription costs every month

Each time you request you need 5 winning +$200 days, once you reach the 30th winning day or the 6th payout you can request 100%

No consistency rule at Topstep once you pass the eval. On balance, they have the best rules around.

If you use the TopstepX platform you can trade micro contracts, which is 1/10th of a mini

I actually like Topstep. But saying 100% is yours for your first payouts is misleading. 50% is yours until you reach 30 days
