I clicked on this tentatively hopeful that it might interest me in one of the current big stars. I thought that heck, if my all time favourite musician, Norah Jones, was on one of their gigs, she must "rate" Sabrina Carpenter, so, maybe I should give her a chance. I was wrong.
All this did, was A, remind me how great Norah Jones really is, and B, make my head literally hurt, from Sabrina's woeful attempts to "measure up". Her arrogance and ego got in the way, here. This was an average version of don't know why, derailed by a new star's narcissism. This would have been better if both sung all the time, but with Sabrina obviously taking the back up harmonise role. Let Norah do what she's great at, sing, just back her up.
Here is the difference between "this" and when singing is done right. This, after 3 MONTHS upload. 7.9k views. Norah's new "Tiny desk concert" for NPR after 4 days upload, last I looked, fast approaching 600k. This is bad, with 100% of the reason, unfortunately being on Sabrina's end. That... well, go check it out, if you haven't.

@@Requiemslove i mean u are comparing my channel of 2K sub to NPR with 9 million subs, obviously the views are gonna be, significantly different 😂😂

@@newginafets2009 I'm sorry, but that's rubbish, on multiple fronts. First of all I never made that comparison. I compared the total views, not your channel size. Secondly, it's redundant. As I TYPE this I am on a video from a youtube channel with barely 9000 subscribers. It's acnn2. 9.27k subscribers. But the uploaded video. An alternate version of Norah Jones version of "Ill be your baby tonight", the Bob Dylan cover from her feels like home CD, has 6.6 million views.
Channel size is redundant. If something is GOOD people will like it. The numbers, speak for themselves.

@@Requiemslove I dont get ur point, people dont always search esp an old song. But channel with million followers once the upload something the followers get notified and they check it out. Im not sure what u are trying to accomplish here.

@@newginafets2009 Again, I never MENTIONED your channels size. And yet again, it DOESN'T matter what size your channel is. Another case study for you to consider.
Channel name. Emiliano Corradetti. 4.25k subscribers.
Uploaded video. Norah Jones: Will you still love me tomorrow. Total views. 9.2 million.
You may notice a common thread here, but that's just because I'm [obviously] a fan of that specific musician. Fact is though if I looked I could find many other examples from OTHER musicians which make the same kind of point. Small channels upload obscure audio recordings of singers all the time, mostly because such obscure recordings barely ever grace official musician channels. [There's easily 25 to 30 obscure songs Norah Jones has done which don't feature on her youtube, I should know cause I'm subscribed to that, yea, a big fan here]

As a fellow norah fan. What in the blue fuck are you talking about. One of the bright young stars at her peak is giving respect to a legend and you're finding a way to criticize it?? This is literally why this doesn't happen as much as it should cuz entitled old "get off my lawn" critics have something to say. Relax and enjoy
