Tiffany, thank you for showing what didn't work as well as what did work. I definitely learn as much from those, if not more. So I really appreciate you including them and generously sharing your time and talents.
I wonder if when using the dies to emboss/lift ink, if you tape the die in place like a hinge, & reapply the lift ink & run it back through the machine a few times, maybe it would give that WOW factor you’re looking for???
The lift-ink has a harder time lifting up the mixative. I like to use a lot of gold mixative and it doesn't lift it up. The mixatives are from ranger as well and designed for the alcohol inks. I hope that helps a little more.
Thank you Tiffany, I enjoyed your video, I have yet to learn how to make cards but have worked with alcohol ink for awhile. Just ordered the lift products and very excited to use them. do you know if I can lift on tile? JJ
Great cards! If you ever want the the best white for splatters its the PH Martins white bleed proof paint. They have it at Jerrys artarama and blicks and amazon . Its the best opaque white ever.
In regards to the scrapbook.com big roll tape if I add it to my 110 lbs card stock and then say use my wonky die set will it cut it rate out or is it like be creative tape were I find it is to thick to cut out, beautiful cards thanks for the video, from Kari Villebrun
I had to go try it out and I tried it with 110 lb neenah and watercolor paper and the die cut through the paper and adhesive. I am using a spellbinders platinum 6 machine. Hope this helps. Thanks so much!
These are all stunning! Two questions: On one card you said you used your favorite color combo. What colors are those? Tim said to use the foam instead of felt when using stencils?

What did you mean when you said it won't lift up the mixative? I am loving this ink pad and can't wait to try these techniques.

Such a cool product! I’ve watched several people using this over the past few days and it is definitely going on my “must buy” list.

Hello. I am pretty sure the lift ink will work. But I am not sure. Let me know how you like it.

Gorgeous cards , and lovely ideas XX
♥ Amazing technique and such beautiful cards. TFS.
How does the alcohol ink react if you emboss the paper before you put the ink on it?
LOVE the cards! What were the "favorite " colors you used about 16.30?
How long do you wait before applying the alcohol Lift Ink? I tried it after it had dried overnight and it didn't pick up the paint.
I did it right after I made the backgrounds.

Marcee Rodgers yes Tiffany please let us know the colors used in background about 16 minutes in. Thanks

You are welcome!!! Be sure to check the coupons section. Often times they have freebies.
try using the back of the die instead of the cutting side and see how that works
Foil plates would work I'll bet
