Noisy dishwasher fixed for FREE!

My Kenmore dishwasher (model 665.16463300) started making a noise during the wash cycle. I was able to pinpoint the issue and fix it without spending a dime. We have a quiet dishwasher again.

I had a similar problem with my dishwasher, its a different make, and it turned out to be easier. It was a piece of plastic and i was able to pull it out without going right in to the macerator. Good to know what the guts look like.
