Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. has introduced the HR-V, a new generation subcompact crossover, to the Philippine market. The vehicle aims to provide drivers with the ruggedness and self-assurance of an SUV, the comforts of a sedan, and the intimate sensation of a hatchback. Known by its full name, High Rider Vehicle, it is a versatile automobile for anyone seeking excellent visibility on the road, a high ground clearance, and a complete complement of safety measures. In addition, it has a large tailgate, plenty of cargo capacity, and the same Utility, Long, and Tall (ULT) seats as the Jazz, which means that it can be configured in a variety of ways for loading and unloading goods.
The front of the HR-V has a wide grille, solid wing face design, and LED dual projector headlights and daytime running lights (DRL). Depending on the model, sporty 17-inch alloy wheels with different patterns and colors are also standard across the board. Honda's 1.5-liter VTEC Turbo engine powers the car and can produce up to 174 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque in the top-of-the-line V Turbo model. A 1.5-liter naturally aspirated motor producing 150 Nm of torque and 119 horsepower powers the basic model. A Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) is included with this mill.
MacPherson struts are used for front suspension, and torsion beams are used for rear suspension. Both the front and back of the vehicle are equipped with disc brakes; the front set uses vented discs, while the rear has two solid discs. The 17-inch HR-V wheels come in a variety of colors and patterns based on the version that was bought.
The L15 platform engines from Honda, which are also featured in the Honda City and Honda Civic, power the HR-V. It has a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine that may be purchased with or without a turbocharger. With Honda's Earth Dreams CVT, the driver may get 119 horsepower and 150 Nm of torque in the standard model and 174 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque in the V Turbo edition. The engine is mounted transversely, like in the majority of Honda vehicles, and power is sent to the front wheels.
The Honda HR-V is driven similarly to other Honda vehicles. For the majority of drives, the engine answers with sufficient urgency and the steering is light. Because it has more ground clearance, handling on a vigorous drive is excellent, and the gearbox is particularly quick. Even with a small push, the brakes bite quickly as well.
The top-spec HR-V trim level from Honda comes with a number of safety features. There are four airbags in all, two side airbags, the front passenger airbag, and the driver airbag. The model comes equipped with electronic brake force distribution and ABS as standard. Emergency stop signals are another feature of the HR-V that come on when the vehicle brakes hard. Honda refers to its traction and stability control technology as vehicle stability aid, and the HR-V's spec sheet mentions it as well. In addition, the subcompact crossover has ISOFIX tethers for simple child seat installation, a speed-sensing door lock system, and an immobilizer system.
Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with the Honda Safety Sense package, which comes with lane departure warning, lead car departure notification, collision mitigation braking, road departure mitigation, adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, auto high beam, and lane keeping assistance.

Good day po, on my own perspective lang number 1 is brand Honda kasi tested for durability. second hatchback sya madali e park. third mataas ang ground clearance, high tech na din features and lastly maluwag sa loob nang cabin kasi medyo malapad ang body dimension nya and naka flatten na po yung 2nd row. Thank you
