Sir thank you for these vids, I am trying to find a nice body to drop my polar jack into , do you know any easy body to drop in a v2 gear box perfer metal body with functional bolt catch to adjust hop up
Hello, thank you very much about this guide! I'm currently having an issue trying to take apart the gearbox on this replica. Unfortunately I seem to have stripped one of the trigger selector tiny grub screws (13:08) and likely the long one holding the left bolt release button (11:50). Do you happen to know the specs of these screws so I can search for fitting replacements ? You do mention that it is a "1.3 mm (?)" allen key so I suppose this is the measurement to use for finding replacement screws ? As far as I know DE does not seem to provide replacement parts/screw sets despite the quite unconventional and proprietary set up of this gun... Thank you in advance !
Hiya. I don't know the exacts... But if you but a set of grub screws with a selection of sizes you should be ok. If the 1.3 but doesn't work because it's rounded... Try using a small torx but, like a size 6 or smaller as this often grab when the 1.3 hex heads are rounding out. I tend to, where I can, use the small torx bits as they grab better and tend to not have the rounding issues. Hope that helps. Pheas
@@PheasAirsoft Thank you, I used a small torx indeed, (i think it was a 1.5) and it worked after some effort. I had to punch it in so it bites onto the screw and keep applying pressure while turning it but eventually it worked! Again thanks for the help, I will keep following your guide now that I can access the gearbox!

If you decide to reduce the power, be sure to not use batteries with a too high voltage - 9.6V NiMH is recommended, and in the case of Li-Po / Li-Ion - 7.4V" - Taiwangun recommends IP-LIPO-007-TC. Is the battery going to cause any issues? If yes, why and what battery should I replace with? 2. Mosfet Does the replica come's with a mosfet from the factory? If yes, is the factory mosfet enough or does it need to be replaced? Thanks!
