Most restrictions are falling rapidly across Europe and other areas of the world so travelers can travel fairly "frictionless." Getting tourists back in the air and exploring is a priority for these countries who have experience the devastation of these lockdowns and restrictions. The Philippines continues to restrict travel. I hope the Philippines will eventually TRULY open to all travels as other nations have done. There are still complications to traveling to and within the Philippines. The global economy has take a hit of more than $4 trillion since 2020 according to UN data. For countries dependent on tourism revenue, the economic toll has been particularly devastating. A recent Bloomberg article noted that from a consumer's point of view, when they see governments dropping restrictions, then it's time to travel. I hope the Philippines will see this. Don't mandate an experimental vaccine. Travelers have options. Mexico, Norway, UK, Cyprus, UAE, Jamaica, Turkey, Romania, Belize, Egypt... the world is waking up. Wake up Philippines.

I am a dual citizen, went to Chicago last month and upon check in, just showed my vaccination certificate, my plane ticket ,and passport.I just arrived in the Philippines the other day,and it was also smooth.all they needed was vaccination certificate, one health pass,passport.I traveled via ANA,terminal 3,no long lines at the immigration, and I can't believe that it took only 20 minutes from coming out from the plane to claiming my luggages and exit the airport. watching you is more updated than the link given by the govt.,specially the one health pass.

Thailand 🇹🇭 is extending free visas days for upto 45 days for over 50 countries. Why can't the Philippines do the same to boost tourism. My booster was last october so i be fine. 3 months before my flight ✈️ to the Philippines 🇵🇭 with Singapore airlines.
It's very easy to extend your visa once you arrive in the Philippines. The 45 day visa is welcome, but visa extension in Thailand is not as easy as Philippines. In Thailand you basically need to leave Thailand and get a new visa.

Philippines B.I. is no problem 😊. It is very easy to complete the OHP. THAT IS ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM. When tourists arrive it is very simple to extend a visa in the Philippines, just visit a B.I. office. By comparison, the guy who posted about Thailand with it's 45 days is not aware of the way immigration works in Thailand or the Philippines. Philippines is much better, more simple, easy, just pay your fee without overstay and tourists are good to go. Thailand is also great, but too many rules and regulations that put of tourists. Philippines government should grab their opportunity to make the Philippines easier than Thailand. The Philippines can attract many tourists. Thailand is also super good. Just base on my experience,your right when you have to dollars that you want to exchange in peso, the company that does all the exchanger don’t accept a bills that are tear and wrinkle. “They are also don’t accept bills that has pen written or any markings on the bills. The bank or any outside mall exchanger won’t accept it. Be prepared if you want to exchange bills in the bank they are strict and “mabusisi” just a heads up to every one that are planning to have a vacation here in PI.

I just entered the Philippines last Friday. My OHP and vaccination/booster CDC card was checked before my first flight in St. Louis, Mo., then at LAX before departing to Hong Kong my OHP and onward flight ticket (throwaway ticket) was checked. Then before departing Hong Kong my OHP was scanned. Upon arrival in Manila my OHP was scanned and my onward flight info examined. So yeah, make sure you have everything! By the way, filling out the OHP and getting the barcode took me exactly five minutes. I'm now back in my condo in Manila and the only thing I hate is having to wear a mask everywhere, even outside.

I was in Cebu, May 4th - uly 5th 2022, my Ph. passport expired the end of May. I was using my U.S. passport to enter and travel. The only hassle I had was to travel to SM Sea Side Mall to apply for a new passport. I had the new one in 3 weeks..

If she has her old PH passport or PSA birth cert, yes. She can stay for 1 year on balikbayan privilege (no need return ticket). If she intends to stay for gpod, it's best if she applies for dual citizenship.

Pag wala booster, kailangan nyo po ng swab test before your flight. Pag wala yun, I-quarantine kayo. Pag meron test, no quarantine.

Did you Print your Code or use a Screen Shot…do you recommend doing the OHP on your Phone or Computer?

Sinovac (2 doses) is accepted by PH govt as fully vaccinated.

If she has her old PH passport or PSA birth cert, yes. She can stay for 1 year on balikbayan privilege (no need return ticket). If she intends to stay for gpod, it's best if she applies for dual citizenship.

Whew now that was a long winded question lol 😆

Hi Paul, you are allowed to edit your personal information on the OHP. However, your trip in September requires a new OHP anyway, so just fill out the personal information changes then.

I suggest you mention na free of charge ang OHP. May mga nagtatanong kc sa FSA Group namin may bayad ba or nagbayad na sa OHP.

I am a fully vaccinated (no booster) non-OFW with a flight itinerary Germany (origin)-Singapore (stopover 3nights)-Manila (final destination), and will exit Singapore Immigration for my 3nights stay in Singapore. How should I go about my OHP registration and COVID tests in this case? Do I need to do the OHP registration and COVID test twice: first while departing Germany to Singapore, then a second time while departing Singapore for Manila? Hoping to hear from you. Yes, your Filipino spouse needs to be with you if you want to avail of balikbayan privilege. You also need to show your marriage certificate.
