    great video! In case anyone needs to know: if you have a rope thats looser and tends to "fluff up" you need longer pieces of rope

    Well explained, thank you. I'm making old-fashioned oar locks for rowing a dinghy... oar through the ring and over an oar peg

      That peg is called a thole pin.

      It’s made by Osborne...just google “Osborne fid” and you’ll find it...
