TBH, my favorite roll on forbearance is Demo and Wellspring for the ability spam. So the chain reaction is a non-issue for me
They obviously don't want nobody using these weapons in the new raid Divinity and Forebearance along with the mods so we don't have a advantage in the raid🤷🏾♂️

@@georgeking1014 While that is a "good" roll upon first glance for ability focused builds, the fact that chain reaction or other dmg perks can secure kills faster, proccing indomitability more often will likely lead to more ability regen. Your roll is good for lower level content though.
Chain reaction is a damage perk? I thought damage perks would be more directly affecting the damage of the shot.. CR doesn't do that as far as I know @@whosurjustin
I think what irks me most is the Lament nerf. Its healing was perfectly fine. And it's an exotic sword. It should be outperforming legendary swords when using the exotic perk. That's the whole point of an exotic, is it not? Their reasoning behind decreasing its damage ceiling makes no sense.

@@folekbarton6998my brother in light, we just had a raid where the final boss literally couldn‘t be beat without swords on day 1, and for most even barely so with lament. There is NO NEED for this nerf, if anything i think swords only need a buff, nothing else.
Yeah and certain legendary swords already gapped lament in damage (by a good amount too). It’s a head scratcher for sure.

Even I used to think that way but these are necessary. They want people to use other weapons perks and armours. So they keep changing the metas. It’s not feasible to keep using same bunch of meta weapons for years. Now I think of pulling out bastion, that void machine gun, queensbreaker etc which I never thought would use again

It isn't necessary actually, and even if that's the case it doesn't matter their forcing something on player's that wouldn't be fair.
And player's can decide to do that on their own and more if they wanna change the meta for themselves since they do it alot anyway usually atleast the creative player's do.

No cap this is how I feel playing this game all the time they literally nerfed Trinity AOE nobody uses Trinity I only use it for crowd control 20% damage happy face but were nerfing the AOE damage what's the use play evening news in Trinity that's actually one of the least used Exotics I have 25,000 kills with that weapon. In my opinion that is the best bow in the game the way it feels the way it works the way it aims the way it shoots its great. Well I guess I'm going to be farming the hell out of blast furnace I'm going to be gone for an impact frame with a s*** ton of range so my kinetic tremors arc to enemies. And do lots of damage

my clan doesnt even use divinity anymore. we just use tether or tractor cannon. 6 dps is better than 5 dps + divinity.

I love how they get you to grind guns for perks, just to nerf it. This is why I don't chase anything.
I'm a solo player and I love overcoming challenges in this game, but to be fair they piled on so many nerfs at once that everything just feels lazy and cheap.

The line about the PvE ammo economy redesign is what bothers me the most. I still remember the ammo mods for each type of weapons. It was awful.

So every Pulse Rifle excluding Graviton Lance and Revision Zero is getting a PvE buff? And every Pulse Rifle INCLUDING the aforementioned weapons are getting a red bar buff on top of that? This means No Time to Explain and Outbreak Perfected are about to re-enter the meta. Hell, you’ll even be able take Vigilance Wing into PvE with a buff like this!

@@SifGreyfangBrother if they nerf a weapon (weapons in this case) another is just going to take its place. Then that weapon gets nerfed and another takes its place. Then that weapon gets nerfed and another takes its place. Then that weapon gets nerfed and another takes its place and so on and so forth ad infinitum. To avoid this just buff what's not deemed 'good' or 'viable'. Having options is far better than using the same gun till it gets nerfed and moving to another. This is present in PvP as well. Everyone is using the Summoner AR cause it's just that good. Other ARs are great but Summoner is still leagues ahead which ends with everybody running the same loadout with little to no variety subsequently becoming an eyesore. Once it gets nerfed (if it ever does) people will just move to next best thing.
I 100% agree I have 25,000 kills on my Trinity Goul so whenever I found out they were going to buff bows I was like happy as hell but they now want to Nerf the AOE damage it needs a buff I stopped using Trinity Google because it's only good for crowd control and that's the only reason why I'll run it I kill the ads while everyone else focuses the champions right before we beat the s*** out of the boss and you realize that most of the people who are testing this game play the game are using cheats and mods anyways of course it's going to over perform whenever you're cheating while testing the game

By removing damage mods and not giving rockets and grenade launchers (special and heavy) a damage buff to compensate like they did for almost everything else is a direct nerf to these weapons. Which mod will you use with rockets? Quick access sling?
The Warden's Law and Malfeasance also got nerfed by the removal of the kinetic damage bonus to boss tier enemies (10%), which affects the Lucky Pants build. Izanagi is also affected by this change (15%), or any kinetic you could use in a damage rotation...

They did outclass every other weapon in slot. There is a reason every high tier solo run of anything was Luck Pants Wardens for a while. Too strong is too strong. And these are small nerfs.

The striga did not need to happen the hole point is the ad clear capability no person is using it for boss damage or to even kill yellow bars but now they decide to nerf the one thing that the gun is used for legendary void weapons with volatile rounds will be better than a exotic this is a load of bs
I actually use that for boss fights but I swap in between that because I use a rocket launcher that has cluster when I'm using strand and I have a solar weapon that has explosive payload so when my team grants me volatile rounds I can keep like applying that on top of using the needle I activate felWinters and ult and just keep striga on the boss...lots of damage

@@okthisisepic9218 you can touch Crota just fine, the health nerf isn't bad and everyone who doesn't use Lament doesn't complain. You won't tun out of Div ammo every 5 second either, you will just have to make sure you have scavengers or special finishers or deeper reserves for multiple phase boss fights. Nerfs like these are always over reacted to.

These changes are very drastic, so I can only hope better exotics will come with the expansion. Or they just hate us using the same stuff- I mean…players should use whatever they want in PVE so… I don’t want to ever feel like whatever I use is on a time clock for a nerf. That sucks in a looter game

Future update: due to the lament getting vaulted by every single guardian due to its dog water damage, we’ve decided to reverse previous changes.

Pulse Rifles = Outbreak Perfected gets the exotic buff (30%) + 20% Pulse rifle buff + 15% red bar buff verse Blast Furnace with KT & One for All - really want to see a damage comparison test.

Every boss has a stomp AND has AOE ground burn. Why not nerf Lament and make close combat even less viable? I guess Dark Drinker vs Aksis really traumatized them.
Lmao, Bungie has accidentally nerfed linear fusion rifles again. The loss of boss spec means linears will be doing -8% damage, they compensated by adding a flat 5% bonus to linears, which means you're still down -3% after the change.
That's depending on the linear fuser rifle archetype if it's void Ark solar throw on some surge mods because your teammates are going to be generating orbs of power anyway so that -3 damage goes away pretty quickly
@@flamestargaming5441 Surge mods are a non-factor here, you can generate orbs and stack triple surge for every damage type, and you could do the same before the nerf. This is flat reduction in the amount of damage linears will do across the board.

Giving a flat damage boost is a amazing thing and will make weapons even stronger and right now it sure sucks in hard content your locked out of changing mods so u don’t get those bonuses to other enemy types. Very happy about this
At this point what's the point of grinding adept weapons over the crafted versions of the same weapons?

Also weapons feeling great isn't a bad thing especially when they're exotic. Instead of nerfing them so they're more in line with non exotic weapons, they should just buff the non exotic weapons.
Also i forgot who said this, but if the only thing making people use an exotic over a legendary is the damage it does, then the exotic needs a major buff or rework.

I rarely use a weapon with hip fire. Look for Incandescent, heal clip, explosive payload, one for all, timed payload, rewind rounds, desperado, bitter spite, firefly, volt shot, and destabilizing rounds. Plus a good rapid fire frame could be a game changer for the new season.😊
So my adept mods for pve will just be gone?
If they made Deterministic Chaos intrinsically either other champion breaker, or MAYBE if it had SUPRESS on a certain number of shots, then I’d use it. All antibarrier does is make it a little more reliable at something it could already do (grenade kills give anti-barrier volatile rounds, Gyrfalcon, etc). They’re really not moving the needle.

A lot of nerfs especially for the weapons where the base damage increase is less than the spec mods
I forsaw chain reaction getting nerfed BECAUSE of forbearance and that is why on the new forbearance I went for the other roll I wanted instead of a chain reaction roll I got a demolitionist wellspring roll
And of I still want a wave frame that's pretty decent at taking out ads I got a tusk of the boar with slice and hatchling

21:27 Hunters have shurikens and warlocks have arcane needles. Titans can get silly too if its a close-quarters boss with throwing hammer. We now have up to 2, 3, and theoretically infinite free reloads on whatever weapon we get with grave robber. Any gl or rocket with the perk has now become exponentially better.

I have long wanted queenbreaker to get a buff or better yet a rework, to make it viable in PvE, it had a short moment of glory in Gambit, but before and after it has rarely if ever seen any light outside the vault or collections.
Make the different modes have subclass synergy, anti-champion, easier change between modes, bigger use case difference between the modes. (Trash clear mode / boss killing mode) Or something,,, obviously not all at the same time (I wish😅) but something,, as well as a chunky damage buff if it stays in the heavy slot.
What are your opinions on this weapon, have you ever used it (outside of gambit)? And what would you like to be done with it

Shooting bullet sponges and having less ways to chunk health while simultaneously giving them an immunity phase or 5. We’ve seen it once and we’ll see it again. But hey, no more sunsetting right?
Nerfing Osteo Striga and Buffing Nechrocasm in back to back paragraphs is basically saying: USE NECHROCASM WHEN YOU WOULDA USED STRIGGA! I might be able use it more with Necrotic Grips now that the poison lasts longer for enemies to move around/spread it more. Though if a big part of the reason you used Strigga was its sustained damage on chunkier targets like me, then you can still use it that way since the nerf is only to poison spread by kills and not to its sustained damage poison burst.
Blast furnace is going to be insane
The buff fron game mode surges makes kinetic guns worse to use, they just basically just revert that and make strand and stasis weapons way better than kinetic
I'm not sure how a buff to one type of damage makes another type, that has a buff built in, feel worse to use.

You can match surges with Strand/Stasis with heavy. No kinetic heavies.

I will never understand why games think nerfing popular weapons is the key to making other weapons get more use. The buffs they give these weapons often time do not make them any better. They are eith the same or only better by comparison.
I literally just got div. As a newish player it was hell even finding a team willing to run a old raid let alone do the steps to unlock the weapon.
Im sorry but you do not have to nerf good weapons and armor to make bad armor better. You dont do anything but change the meta not give it diversity. Because people will still clutch on meta weapons. If you don't want certain weapon archetypes to overpreform then you make the underproforming weapons better not make the good weapons worse.
No, see, a speedrunner thought Div was too OP and loudly called for it to be nerfed for months. Instead of simply not using it for the sake of, y’know, keeping the D2 content challenging for his godly self. We apparently aren’t allowed to have nice things.
It’s a tragedy because Div is a fairly difficult-to-obtain gun for most players, and now there will be even less incentive to even bother going for it
