Put Plastic over the windows and doors that don't get used, and keep all the doors closed unless you need them open. This will help any heat from your office to stay in the house. Growing up in Northern Canada I've learned a few tricks so, hopefully, this could help you.
I am currently watching and will say the robot featured is good for emotional awareness for kids. It often gets updates for new programs. It also will learn the child and teach it social skills. Also, it is for age 5-10. Awesome purchase tho!

I was always told to keep the heat on, even if you keep it super low, because it could over work the system to have to go from nothing. (We keep our house at 64 in the winter which keeps the chill out of the air but also we can have on winter clothes if need be). My husband uses beard butter/oil on his beard every morning. Helps with the flyaways too (his hair is course/curly/very long).
You should get a nest so you can create schedules to turn on or off at certain times. Or from home you can set it to start heating/ cooling on your way there, so by the time you get there it’s comfortable.
You should run heat to at least around 62-65 so you don't get cracks in your walls/ceiling. Houses expand and contract with temp extremes which isn't good for them.
Personally, and I'll swear by this too, *beard balm*. It's what you want for your beard, I even bought my brother some and it makes his beard look great, you can even use it in your hair to make it look nice

I’m a hairstylist that specializes in fades and beards. In my professional opinion you should go see someone who can trim it for you or to take some clippers and a 3 guard and on the sides take the clippers and go down so it takes the bulky part off but doesn’t take the length, up cuts it off and down takes out the bulk. Also find you a good beard balm so it helps tame the hair

I think it would look nice if you straightened your beard, then trimmed it all evenly, then wet it down so it curls back up a bit. Then you would have your normal beard but without the extra long bits poking out occasionally :)

Tips for installing your nest thermostat. 1. Check to see what color wires go to what terminal on the old stat first. In fact, take a picture! Most of them are universally color coded, but maybe the installer was color blind. You never know. 2. If there is an O/B terminal, Google "your equipment brand energizes in heat or cool" so you program the nest correctly. Doing it wrong is not the end of the world, but you will turn on the heat and the a/c will kick on and run till you physically turn off the heat😅 Good luck!
Idea: Brandon, why don't you install an automatic thermostat that you can program to turn on the heat while you are driving to the house so that when you arrive, you have a warm house and time it to when you have to go pick up Jameson or head home for the thermostat to shut off when you leave. I never thought about how kick bikes could be used in anywhere really. I rode street bmx and on rainy day I would just practice bunny hop tricks. Just balancing on the bike all the time will help skipping training wheels I bet.
if you go to a barber doll they can shape it and cut off those wild extra long hair and it will looks so snazzy especially for her birthday, they wont take any length just clean it up and shape it, my mom was a hair stylist for 30yrs she would always trim and shape my dads hair and beard
If you keep the heat on it probably is more efficient than turning it off then turning it back on to heat the house back up cause it stays on longer to get it up to temp everytime than just comming on for a short time to maintain the temp

Big beard dude here, I suggest jojoba oil for skin and hair. After washing the beard massage oil in all the way to the skin. Also trim a tiny bit?
