This is why the original Don Dorcha was the best, he makes no attempt to try and win over the audience, he just doesn't care at all and thats why it works, he knows hes powerful he knows his band is a force to be reckoned with and his only intention is to intimidate
Thank you! Now i know his Name, after Decades. I saw Lord of the Dance in Vienna. Unfortunately without Michael Flatley. The ad was set up with his silhouette but he wasn't there. Don already.
If only every war was fought with tap shoes instead of weapons. Damn, I always loved Don Dorcha and his warlords and I always will. Sends shivers down my spine absolutely every time!
Damn straight - so glad I saw this live when they were touring. The warriors segment builds up so well; just when the audience is cheering like crazy, they double the pace again.
This number always gets me all psyched up. It was AWESOME live. I'm a 3rd-generation native of South Boston, long supporter of Irish Northern Aid, my gramps was chased out of Rebel Cork in 1923. Have a healthy respect for the Irish-Canadian population as well. Lots of Irish wound up not only here in Boston, but NY, Chicago, and Canada as well. I love Flatley and what he did for Irish culture.
This is fantastic. Truly a work of art. I went to see it yesterday and might I add that they are artists... universal artists! Bravo to everyone who dances in them intense shows you guys deserve the best!
Don Dorcha is basically my favorite villain ever in this. I'm glad that they gave him a more distinctive costume in Feet of Flames, though. He deserves to stand out! ^_^
I have an unhealthy addiction to this video clip LOL!!! This scene is by far one of the best in the LOTD performance. Had the honour to watch the tour when they came to my city in December 2006. Have never forgotten the true awesomeness of this show, or the power AND beauty of the music. The evil characters always seem to have the best music it'd seem hehe!!!
was right there.. met em and saw and enjoyed,,wonderful to all and encore was brilliant, thank you for a wonderful night and letting me get away for that lil bit.
yay!! glad to see u like it hun! i really love this song too!! and love the way they dance so fast at the end and i also had a secret crush on the lead dancer lol *blushes*
i can remember dancing 2 this when i was little kid i would play it in my vcr every night n dance like there was no 2morow im now 18 n i still love it....it brings back so many good memories:)
Man i still can't believe i watched this live, imagine this up close with the music and all^^ was a anniversary gift for my honey shes from ireland. Very sad that its not performed anymore :-(
The end of this song gives you so many adrenaline. I did the riverdance to on this song, and it was so awesome to do it:D Our danceclub had masks on too. We only didn't have the shoes like there:P
I can't explain it, but there's something about these warriors, although they are the "bad guys," that I just absolutely LOVE in this show. Of course, it doesn't hurt that they're a nice bunch of eye candy. :)
@bluevideos12 some people can make oversights during an awesome performance. i didn't really think about it/realize it until got a little older and was able to fully appreciate how intricate the choreography really is (bear in mind, i first saw this when i was about 13)
@MelodiousArchangel ...This is Daire Nolan. This is the first version of LOTD, from ~97. He ramped it up a lot more for FOF 98, because he'd already been playing the role for a year and was more comfortable with it (he's extremely shy in real life, LOL!) I agree that this performance is a little lacking...I like him MUCH better in FOF.
When I first read that, I thought you meant "Irish-dancing warlords," and I thought to myself, "They're tap-dancing. What's Irish-dancing?" Then I got it. Completely agree.
if you have frostwire or limewire, you can find this song by searching Lord of the Dance - Warriors. just note that it is only the background music, you dont get to hear the tapping.
yes go to itunes and type in "michael flatley's lord of the dance" then click on the album cover-it has a picture of him on the album cover. if you dont click on the album cover you wont get all the songs from the show hope this helps
This is why the original Don Dorcha was the best, he makes no attempt to try and win over the audience, he just doesn't care at all and thats why it works, he knows hes powerful he knows his band is a force to be reckoned with and his only intention is to intimidate
Totally agree. The later version he was WAY too theatrical. The indifference to the audience and confidence is what made him so menacing.
Thank you! Now i know his Name, after Decades. I saw Lord of the Dance in Vienna.
Unfortunately without Michael Flatley. The ad was set up with his silhouette but he wasn't there. Don already.
He is a legend 💪
My favorite part out of the whole show ...
Mine too^^
Same! still great to watch sometimes
If only every war was fought with tap shoes instead of weapons.
Damn, I always loved Don Dorcha and his warlords and I always will. Sends shivers down my spine absolutely every time!
Unfortunately, many world leaders are too old to walk, let alone dance !!! Lol ! 😆

Amazing! Love the music especially.
I remember watching the dvd a thousand times when I was little, and I've always liked Don Dorcha best! (Or the Mask-Man, as I called him back then)

Flatley demanded only the best. He definitely found it in Don Dorcha!
The bad guys always get the cool music. This is my favorite piece from Feet of Flames.

The Dark Lord has moves like Jagger

i LOVE this part, i think it's my favourite part of the whole show

Gotta love the Irish. This is great entertainment.
I absolutely agree to that!

hope this helps
@JenAnger its "warriors" from the lord of the dance soundtrack by ronan hardiman. good good stuff.
simply unmatched skill
Oh my gosh this is SO dark and sexy. The bad guys are SOOOOOO wonderful!!
It's the same guy. He was the lead guy for all filming and his little brother took over for one of the smaller touring groups. Nice guys.
They are gorgeouse
Yiiehha I love the bad guys...even the music is better in these parts where they dance ^^
I love them....
Their performance in "Feet of flames" is so much better.
I think it is then and there. As far as I can tell in Riverdance at least, they had microphones placed across the stage.
@Alusdraan Yes, Don Dorcha is with the Warriors and the Lord is with the Warlords
This music is called 'Warriors'.. it can be downloaded through iTunes as we now dance to it at our dance school :) hope this helps :)
oeww love the song
i think that the cold lok on his face makes him actualy look like a bad guy
