What is a phase monitor?
Phase Monitors are used to protecting three-phase loads from damage due to phase reversals or phase absence.
Contacts may be used to disconnect the load or to operate alarm circuits or both. he devices provide protection against phase loss, phase reversal, and phase unbalance due to blown fuses, broken wires or worn contacts.

i find this relay to be limited such that...assuming the phase you use for the contactor is the one which has failed and instead of the contactor you are having a shunt trip, then it means that the shunt trip won't trip

P is for single phase.........but to use it in single phase mode, you must shot between P and L1.

Very helpful piece for me sir.
Could you give me a link to how to connect a 3-phase failure device. A client wants to use it for a 3-phase machine but without contactors so that he could operate the machine manually at will when potential has been disconnected by the phase failure device.

Most of the phase failure are auto, there you need a contactor for you to use it, but alternativly ther are three phase regulator thta serve the same purpose. This single phase ruclips.net/video/NuGYMZWZBeg/видео.html but you can look for exact but three phase.
