I've seen hundreds of these videos, this is by far the one that I understood the best, because you explained on paper then showed an actual example. Great explanation. Thank you.
so many videos out there purport to "teach" people to connect to a motor starting contactor yet fail to teach an understanding of the process so that people cannot diagnose when there is an issue. you on the other hand explained just how the circuit latches to remain on so that people actually learn something. Very well done sir
that really cleared some things up for me. i paused the video and studied the wiring. im an electrician but its rare for me to wire a contactor and control wiring so i like to refresh my memory before hand. thanks.
Like every one else, thank you so much for explaining this in very simple terms a knucklehead like me can understand. I am building a new control panel for a milling machine and I had everything worked out except for how to use momentary switches for the contactor. I want to use a contactor for safety as I didn’t want the mill to be able to restart on its own if there was a power interruption. Problem solved thanks to you. Cheers Stuart 🇦🇺
I have been looking on the Internet for ages to understand how to wire up stop start in this way. Thank you for such an excellent presentation. I get it now!
👍 Thanks a lot for your Vidio I am as a biginner can easily understood what you have submitted in simple methode, hoping you doing more vidios may God bless you n your family !
You have given me the best explanation on this, but can you remake this video and add two indicators to it, one when the contactor is energized and the other when it is not. Also includes emergency Push button.
Great video! Do you happen to have a video that demonstrates the stop/start functionality where the coil (24V) is a different voltage than the line voltage?
Such a good video! Like other people said, explaining it on paper and then demonstrating was so helpful. I’ve watched other videos, but I didn’t get it until I watched yours!
Good Job.. 25 years ago this was the part that took a few days to know how. Rest of the wiring is common sense. Also You May explain to these rookies about the Neutral conductor going through the OL contacts. Thanks Sir.
Good day sir, I really appreciate the good wor you're doing, I have a question, the red wire is supposedly the life wire (24v), but you passed it through the stop button first and looped to the green button, which means the green button got it's supply by looping from the red button, does it mean the red button is continuous even though it's not pushed ??
What would happen if I used a standard ON-OFF toggle switch on this self-holding circuit? Would that be safe? I am trying to replace my coffee machine momentary switch with a toggle switch. The coffee machine has a self-holding circuit. Thank you
Thanks for the video it teaches thanks! I work in industry and this is a very necessary thing, but in the video at minute 6:30 I could not understand why you connected A1 to L1?
Hello sir, how r u doing? You are doing a great job of teaching the people... but my suggestion is that you should organize a board which you can be writing some diagrams (projects)
you probably dont give a shit but does someone know of a method to log back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly forgot my password. I would love any tricks you can offer me!
@Immanuel Brysen i really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and I'm trying it out now. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
thanks that was perfect I under stand now.. now only if you could ad an overload protection to that with an e-stop. added that would be awesome . im not sure what it is but the way you did the video it makes it plane and simple and easy to under stand. ill have to look maybe you already have a video of this.
Thanks for watching and appreciating..ruclips.net/video/lfcXpTplTZM/видео.html this will show how integrated an overload to the contactor in DOL starter circuit. it also has another part here ruclips.net/video/-9mV3XOZ2HA/видео.html... I will make one in feature adding Emergency stop.
Thanks for watching...........ruclips.net/video/nRU_feyTPso/видео.html this video is manly on star delta starter but still shows how to connect an overload relay.
Wow, that's awesome, man. But there's one thing I wanted you to help me with... What if in case I want to control from two points ie two start and two stop push buttons. Some video if you have please.thanks.
Quite good, but I must say I would like to see you connecting it, to the motor, or whatever you want to use that system for. Actually, I was thinking of using it with a bench-saw, my normal switch has broken, so I was thinking of making a kind of control box, and I thought I could put an Emergency button, and the on/off buttons, and the contactor would be for extra caution. Well, thank you for your help and I hope you make a video, showing how to connect the power to the machine. 👍👌
I've seen hundreds of these videos, this is by far the one that I understood the best, because you explained on paper then showed an actual example. Great explanation. Thank you.
Your welcome and thanks for watching.
Me too thank u so much sir

Your explanation by the diagram and practical demonstration is SUPER easy to understand. A perfect teacher.
Thank you!
i found your video really informative, bc you show how it works IRL, unlike those complicated theoretical diagrams
Exactly
Very Simple, Step by Step, To the Point, Precise, Accurate presentation.
Thanks for your time
Thank you very much for the break down of the NO / NO maintains the coil. I am getting it.
Brilliant explanation of how it works. Thanks man
Thanks for watching
Good
This is a very good job. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. The start-stop logic is the most fundamental circuit in Electrical engineering
Great tutorial. You made seemingly difficult connections very simple with easy to follow steps and stages of connection. Thanks

Where are you located now ? Are you in Uganda
Thank you! I got my 10 HP 3 Phase dust collector wired up with the help of this video. We have start stop switches at 4 locations in my shop.
Have struggled with this concept, but you broke it down perfectly and simplistically. Thank you!!
👍 Thanks a lot for your Vidio I am as a biginner can easily understood what you have submitted in simple methode, hoping you doing more vidios may God bless you n your family !

I have a single phase 2.2kw motor, 2800rpm/4Pole. 220V, 50HZ. What is minimum Amp, for a contactor I can use?
Interesting technology
your explanation is the best I had so far. do you have video on wiring with overload? thanks
Thanks for watching...........ruclips.net/video/nRU_feyTPso/видео.html this video is manly on star delta starter but still shows how to connect an overload relay.
Well elaborated!
Very helpful video. Do you have more videos breaking down relays ?

Wow, that's awesome, man. But there's one thing I wanted you to help me with... What if in case I want to control from two points ie two start and two stop push buttons. Some video if you have please.thanks.
Thats easy, make a parallel connection between the existing buttons and the one your adding.
Thanks for watching.
Please use a dark marker so the writing can be easily seen . I can barely see the writing on the paper. Thanks.
