I haven't seen a card shop that big since I was a kid! There was a huge one I used to go to as a teenager in the 90's, that was about the same size. This one is nicer! More futuristic! 😮 And I love those wall sized, lighted glass display cases in the back!! If I ever buy a brand new custom house, I'll have to have 2 or 3 walls of my card room with nothing but those? That's the stuff of dreams! 🤩 *Edit: my favorite of those is probably the '76 Robin Yount. Also love the 3D Pete Rose and '71 Al Kaline! I have that '76 Reggie Jackson All Star graded. *Edit of the edit: 🤔 Hope you get well soon! 😇
Looks like a sweet store! Saw lots of wax! Great choices for the singles. I’ve never owned that 2nd year Schmidt, but always admired it, great pick up! Amongst the giveaways, I’m gonna say my favorites are the 3D Morgan and the Rose. Those Kellogg’s sets always intrigued me as a kid, because our local shop had a bunch of different years of them framed. I don’t know why I haven’t ever pursued them, I’ll get around to it one day. Anyway, great stuff, thanks for sharing! And feel better!
Same for me about Schmidt - never owned it, had to pick it up raw, was pretty nice looking for sure. And I loved those Kellogg’s sets, too. Mostly cuz they came with Twinkies or whatever. Haha
Hey!!!! Looks like a really cool shop. The back room could hold a local card show if they wanted. Are you pcing Mike Schmidt. Greatest 3rd baseman ever IMO. To answer your question, I think the Jim Palmer (greatness) and the Reggie Jackson (greatest ego!) are the two nicest looking cards. Wonderful coloring. Always a fun watch when I tune in!! #HAPPYHOBBY 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Awesome card shop Mr David Gonos. Some sweet cards for the giveaways Mr David Gonos. I like the Steve Spurrier card because he did coach the South Carolina Gamecocks in my home state. Hope you start to feel better Mr David Gonos. Have a good Wednesday to you and until your next video ✌️ Mr David Gonos.
Wow that shop is massive! Way bigger than any i have visited, looked like they had about everything. I love the single card displays all over! You need a full day there! Hopefully you are feeling better!! Love the Montana and the Tony Gwynn pickups! Great video, exploring card shops are so fun
Awesome looking shop!!! Nothing like a well lit, well stocked card shop, it just gives you the joys!!! I'm in Wisconsin so not far from there, might have to road trip!!! Did you see UFC in there David? And you know I loved that Yount card!!!! Thanks for the field trip!!
Oh nice! Yeah, Wisconsin’s not too far at all. They have an annual membership that costs $9.95, but it saves you 15% on cards and wax. So obviously, it’s overpriced about that much. But I loved the $5-$15 bins - lots of good baseball and football singles, as you saw. Haha
Man, hope you get to feeling better soon. What a cool shop that was, way nicer than what I have around me. Nice pickups, but gotta go with the Tony Gwynn as my favorite, but that is because that card is on my wish list. Ebay prices on that card are ridiculous, so maybe I need to go out and shop, or hope to win.
Check out comc for singles - I bought a few great cards on there that graded out awesome. An Elway RC that I got a 9 on and that Eli Manning RC that got a 10!

Yeah man, that was a big store for sure, with a whole trading night / card show space. Lots of TCG stuff too, for those into that.
Lets go! Always enjoy your content! We love card collecting!!! #HappyHobby
Thanks buddy!

Not PC-ing Schmidt, but I’ve always wanted that first solo card. Thanks for watching and commenting, Bill!

Spurrier and Lou Holtz! Thanks for watching, Robert!
That card shop looks great! I liked the Tony Gwynn card the best. I liked the Topps Football cards of Joe Montana and John Elway also. Get well soon!!
Thanks! I agree, those Elway/Montana cards are great, despite not being their rookies. Such a cool set.

I didn’t have enough time or money to see everything in that store! Hahaha thanks, Josh!
Really cool shop. I think I’d say Gwynn and Reggie are my favorite although the Spurrier is unique and that football design is pretty cool
Nice! Yeah, that spurrier card does have a nice design.
All are nice card. I like the Joe play card because I haven't seen it before.
I’ve never seen that Joe Namath play card before either! Couldn’t let it go by! Thanks Ezekiel Sports!

Oh and yes, they DEFINITELY had UFC and Wrestling. They were in the standup displays that I show right after the Cubbies picture.
I was always fascinated with the Mike Schmidt cards.
Feel better!
