I went completely bald and pale from chemo, wore a scarf for several months, and was grateful for the Muslim women who also wore scarves because I did not stand out so much!

Princess Catherine's immune system has been broken down and is currently immune-compromised. She must be careful of contact with the general public, especially. It will take a while before she is fully recovered and back to full strength. I do hope that Princess Catherine's schedulers and people, in general, will understand and respect the fact that she will need to return to public service gradually, and if she needs to back off at any point, she will not be attacked for using wisdom regarding what is best overall.

The correct title is Trooping the Colour. The parade is the celebration of the Monarch's official birthday by the Household Division Regiments. At this parade ONE of the 5 Foot Guards Regiments parades (troops) their colour. Hence the title Trooping the Colour as just one colour is paraded.

He has ridden all his life, he knows the horse he’s riding so there’s absolutely no reason why he shouldn’t ride! Just because he’s 75 doesn’t mean he’s incompetent. My mum rode well into her 80’s.
Although the late queen no longer rode in parades, she rode her Fell ponies well into her 90s. On a steady and predictable horse someone the age of the king can ride perfectly comfortably IF he's feeling well and fit.

Totally agree. There comes an age that we may think, if not now when? Charles has spent many years waiting on this season of life. He's barely one year into his reign, had to go through the h$ll his son has dished out for four years and battled cancer. If he says he's doing this---I say I'm cheering him on the whole way. Hi Neil ..I've mentioned before my father is 94 .He has had operation for detached retina and was ordered to stay in bed 5 days resting on his left side for 45 minutes to allow his eye to heal . As a result of this his mobility suffered. Each week we take him to a lical garden centre to meet his friends . It's quite a walk from the shop's doors to restaurant . I offered him a wheel chair ..his response ...." They are for old peop. You're not taking my independence away from me ! " ....and he walked it !! Pure grit and determination
