You find more expensive and worse in the United States and other countries. At least listen to them, make the effort to compare them to their competitors in the same price ranges. I noticed that as soon as a French product is presented, an Anglo-Saxon comes and declares loud and clear that it is junk. It’s SYSTEMATIC! Or it's "too expensive", or "outdated" blah blah blah. So learn that France produces acoustic speakers that are among the best in the world. Cabasse, Elipson, Focal, Davis, JMR, Leedh, Supravox, PE Leon, Mulidine etc... Take the time at least to know them, and in passing find out about French electronics like Jadis, YBA, Audiomat, Atoll, Advance acoustic, Micromega, B audio, Supravox etc... You will see your ears will thank you.
I have auditioned them. And you are correct about speaker manufacturers from other countries have the same or worse. Not sure that them being French has anything to do with my comment. Simply put , any speaker from any country at that price point or higher can afford the extra $200-500 for the better inductors and capacitors.
Really? Electrolytic capacitors, iron core inductors and sand resistors in a speaker at that price point? What a shame.
