Been a Timbaland fan for decades at this point, but after watching his "Masterclasses" and seeing him basically just sit there and say "add something else" while other people made the beats for him, I knew he'd gotten lost in the sauce.
Just remember a few years back Timbaland said he was basically suicidal when he felt the music game left him behind (which it did). It just signaled to me that he would do most anything to stay relevant. Now we have the proof. I can’t believe he used the dreams of other to crush those same dreams all while taking his money.
He was one of the 1st producers I know to really be in agreeance with AI beats. As an Abelton Live producer, he could've used that avenue to teach. And now with the MK3 being standalone....
What he doesn't realize is he is the one who left it. He got fat and loaded with money so he lost the hunger. Jermaine Dupri, while not in his prime anymore, is still making hits that compete in today's music industry. Timberland had one style of music. When that got old he refused to adapt, and even them his style could still play well today with a few adjustments. But mainly he lost the hunger. He doesn't need to fight to eat because he'll be well fed for the rest of his life. Easy times make soft men, who make soft beats.
Celebs are suspicious by default in my book. I couldn't care less about most of them and unless it ain't making me money, I don't do any work for anyone. Especially not celebs. Which is probably why I ain't famous, but definitely well fed.
@@AFRoSHEENT3ARCMICHAEL69what are you talking about? If he “could care less” he would have to care at least a bit, in order to be able to care less. The term is “I couldn’t care less” meaning it’s impossible for me to care less. I.E “I do not care at all” isn’t English your first language?

Timb don’t play KEYS!!! 🎹 Dre either!!! Please correct me if I’m wrong… I’m a student of Ryan Leslie, Michael B cox, Scott Storch, Zaytoven and others who play keys as well. Kanye honorable mention on the sample choices and genius drums.
@PastorWill_ I've seen a video of Dre in the studio playing keys before. If he didn't know it back in the day he definitely learned at some point later on in his life
This is standard operating procedure in the as you called it "weirdo" circles. Which is a pretty accurate way of describing them. This story is tame as far as what I have seen and experienced. CLA thinking they were professional and good guys is where he went wrong. It's a catch 22 with the "weirdos" because they only work with people they can screw over. Good video bringing awareness to what people like me take for granted as the norm.
This is why I rather work alone as an independent Musician producer . The majority of these well known producers have been doing this for many years, It’s so obvious.
Timbo been my producer idol since a kid and I still never signed up for beat club! I believe that if someone believes in you they gon mess w you with no money paid!
Honestly when the photo op of him and Swizz with Elon dropped, changed my view of them. It's no wonder they're going into business with that guy. Now on the ghost producers tip, obviously there's different types of producers. Some people have the vision but they don't know how to make music. But they can explain to people who know how to make it, like a Diddy. But whenever I would look in the liner notes, certain things stood out to me. If every track you produced one guy played guitar. Another guy played piano. Another guy did bass. then what exactly did you do? Because minus the drums that's the whole damn beat. So once I discovered Danja and got familiar with his style, you could totally tell what all he was responsible for. And you can see that some of the biggest records he was involved with it and surely he was the catalyst

fun fact, timbaland wouldnt be who he is if missy elliot didnt convince him to jack smks production style when they all worked in da bassment. all those beats timb did for aaliyah and missy were heavily inspired from a memphis producer that heavily inspired dj squeeky and dj paul.
Good video, I didn't know about Danja Hands. I thoguht it was all Tim. I was interested in beatclub myself but I was not sure. I was wondering how involved he was with the platform.
Timbaland is the reason I fell in love with producing. I really feel like peak Timbaland was from 96-2001, more when he sampled, than when he started using other producers. He’s been on a downward trend ever since. Especially when I realized like you said he was just only adding drums to production he was claiming as his only. He’s not even in my top 10 anymore
All big producers have protégés. Go look at Dr. Dre and Kanye, for example. Everything Dr. Dre did in the 2000’s was produced by people like Mel Man and Scott Storch, and some other names. Everything Kanye has done since College Drop out has been, primarily, produced by Mike Dean, but also Jon Brion. Into the 2010’s, damn near every up and coming producer and writer worked for Kanye, with Mike Dean serving as the Quincy Jones sewing everything together as an executive producer, sound designer, and engineer. Before Timbaland ever collaborated with Danja, he changed the sound of popular music with the Aaliyah albums, the Ginuwine albums, Missy Elliot, his own solo work with Magoo, the Jay Z and Rocafella tracks (“Jigga what” “Is that your chick” “hey papi” “big pimpin”), Bubba Sparxxx, lead singles for every artist, the dozens of remixes … his legacy was cemented long before he started doing a more collaborative approach, which as I said, seems to be the route most big producers go
@@AveMcreeYou don’t mess with facts? I’m old enough to remember. Every producer-and I mean EVERY producer-in pop, rnb, and hip hop was trying to sound like Timbaland in the 90’s. Every thing I listed in terms of cementing a “legacy” happened 5-10 years before Beat Club even existed. So what are you even talking about? I think the Beat Club label thing happened in the mid-2000’s? He was already a legend at that point, and had hundreds of tracks that redefined popular music. But I’ll criticize Timbaland as well. From the bits and pieces I’ve heard of his story, through his own telling of it, and the things that other people close to him have said, he started messing with OxyContin and pain pills, and messed up his life and career. So I certainly don’t vouch for him at this point. I’m simply saying, you can’t all of sudden discount his legendary career because of his current missteps, the same way you wouldn’t disregard Kanye, R Kelly, or MJ’s musics contributions. If that’s glazing … I’m fine with that. I’m a music fan, so that’s most important.

Bro, you took it way back. I've heard Tim say Devante taught him how to step up his game as a producer, but I wonder if there really is more to the story.
If he didn't know it back in the day he definitely learned at some point later on in his life
DJ. QUIK DON'T FORGET WESTCOAST DA BESTCOAST..
@@MK-vi2cm Yeah, some of these comments are straying kinda far. Dre is the real deal. Bro can play the piano beautifully.
Something was always off with Beatclub.
That's why I had put a few mid beats up there just to see what would happen 🤣🤣
I don't think anybody is surprised about this.
Gotta ask why? Been rocking with Tim since the missy days. Never heard nothing bad, maybe except once some TIME AGO. what did he do?
@@MychaelWashington did you not watch the video?
Rule 1080...industry people are SHADEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Thank you for all information you give I appreciate u. Thanks again my Brother 👊🏾🏆💯🔥🔥🔥
This is why I rather work alone as an independent Musician producer . The majority of these well known producers have been doing this for many years, It’s so obvious.
Clapping in the mic is diabolical work. My ears were going crazy. Also i couldnt watch the video fr because you were talking more than the clip.
@@normanfooteii5300 This is why as I get older I start to appreciate actual musicians who can play instruments more. People like Dennis Chambers. Scott Storch. The “producers” that we grew up thinking they came up with these amazing instrumentals alot of the time are con artists with a image.
"...a well established celebrity in the weirdo space..." is a diabolical level of shade. 🏝🏝🏝🏝😂😂😂😂😂
beat farming, theres way more people doing this than just timbaland that's for sure
Like Puff Daddy and Dr Dre. They steal beats too.
Maybe it was something to that story about Devante slapping him
Jodeci.....the Wu-tang group of R@B😊
Could it be that he stole his sound from a cat in Rochester NY named SMK
@@808ohenderson SMK I was like Brah what in the Hell are you talking about
Then I looked up SMK and listened to Life Aint Nonthin But A Bitch, Holy Shit
Brah, that is the style {Rythm}....
Let alone Scott Storch career never been the same since Tim and him beefing either.
That and drugs tbh
I just saw this title, and I agree. I went to submit to a "react stream" and saw I had to pay. Makes sense he reacts so positively and dances to peoples song, theyre paying for it lol, watching this whole vid now to learn more
Please archive this for future reference
I was so called "playlisted" like 20 times through beatclub for thier opportunities and never heard anything back. Also i had A&R reps tell me they were going to put some of my home made samples in some of thier folders for bobby shmurder and i also never heard anything back. Imma sue if i ever hear my shit. Fuck all that
I don’t trust nothing unless it’s already downloaded on my off grid laptop with 10 different cracked versions of FL
Whats good Ave. So, I guess nobody listened to me when I said I benefited in NO WAY 2 years ago on my vid! Told you so.................also United Market too!
Thank you for sharing this video as a warning to everybody.
Timbaland won’t go down for this. Won’t affect him.
Alot of this stuff i've already experienced it on a local level dealing with other artist's and producers in my surrounding city. They dont want to give you your credit, let alone pay you for your services. From the nobody's to the somebody's it's all the same.
First hand experience here…from the late 90’s till 2000’s there were a lot of upcoming producers but a lot of us ending quitting cause the established ones were established because they had teams of unknowns working behind the scene …D dot ,timberland ,not sure about Swiss ,Dr Dre for sure but these guys just took all the credits and publishings from these young guys,i just decided to quit cause I was not gonna work for some one who took all the credits ..I’m shocked and chagrined to see it’s now folks about this issues, even some of the DJ are all in on the scam…you have to pay to get bombs play over your joint on the radio ..these guys are just horrible people
fun fact, timbaland wouldnt be who he is if missy elliot didnt convince him to jack smks production style when they all worked in da bassment. all those beats timb did for aaliyah and missy were heavily inspired from a memphis producer that heavily inspired dj squeeky and dj paul.
Good video, I didn't know about Danja Hands. I thoguht it was all Tim. I was interested in beatclub myself but I was not sure. I was wondering how involved he was with the platform.
Stay blessed brother we love you
Timbaland is the reason I fell in love with producing. I really feel like peak Timbaland was from 96-2001, more when he sampled, than when he started using other producers. He’s been on a downward trend ever since. Especially when I realized like you said he was just only adding drums to production he was claiming as his only. He’s not even in my top 10 anymore
He be too excited bout them loops 😂😂😂 smh this wild right here
I was gonna say, it seems like it'd been a while and now I'm seeing videos all the time, so, welcome back
Must be tough for the 1 person who didn’t realise it was a scam to process this right now.
Timbaland even stole Scott storch beats , they were beefing for that, they diss each other in their music.
Timbascam
I might used that
Scamberland
Jaajjaajja
I wonder how many people got jerked from buying the MPC LIVE 2 "BEATCLUB EDITION"?
With the abundance of Ghost Peoducers out there, I'm curious if Southside is near this category. I remember him from the 808 Mafia times.
What do U really expect from a guy who allowed Devonte Swing to physically abuse him as a younger man n HE STOLE BEATS FROM MISSY
Before Timbaland ever collaborated with Danja, he changed the sound of popular music with the Aaliyah albums, the Ginuwine albums, Missy Elliot, his own solo work with Magoo, the Jay Z and Rocafella tracks (“Jigga what” “Is that your chick” “hey papi” “big pimpin”), Bubba Sparxxx, lead singles for every artist, the dozens of remixes … his legacy was cemented long before he started doing a more collaborative approach, which as I said, seems to be the route most big producers go
Nah career was dead af after the original beatclub label folded. Literally for the same reason. Keep glazing though 😂
The biggest problem alot of people literally get good at making beat songs ext. Jus to make music and when ur main goal is money....anything that deals with u gettin paid for ur music ur gonna hop on but u gotta be like very picky when it comes to the exchange of funds and music
Ppl shuda been peep'd who Tim was from waaay back. He told yall exactly how he feels about aspiring producers on "That Shit Ain't Gonna Work". Cuda just listened to the lyrics on that & saved urselves all this headache. The contempt, disrespect, arrogance, narcissism, & greed is off the charts.
What's happening with all these producers ??
Zaytoven, Scott Storch, Timbaland.. who's next ?????????????
pulled the curtain back and realized the wizard of oz was odd LOL.! R.I.P. Timbo

Never thought I’d have to unfollow Timbo
what's up Hale Mcree :) fyi Ave is latin for Hale. Love the video. How are you?
Here comes the surprised face...😒
Timbaland also originally didn’t give the proper credit for the samples used on “Paper Chase” for Jay-Z / Foxy Brown lol. My guess is they were such short notes he thought he’d slide by with that
Frieza is my favorite character also 🔥0:42
If you do shady business that makes you a shady person. The only reason these type of things keep happening is because people are idolizing these celebrities and work for free time and time again and are afraid to expose them until it’s too late. If people that were at a time “ living in the clouds “
Start to walk amongst regular people. It’s because the money has or is running out and they start scamming desperate people
Timbaland would give himself away during his lives by saying.. "im gonna use this tonight for my notes" also said.. "i can take this and flip it"
That's why I stopped fooling with timbo years ago when he started that channel of submitting beats.. shitting on ppl just because of his status.. approval from one person holds no weight to me.
Busy Works Beats Told you this 2 years ago.. ppl wasnt listen..
Everything busy says comes with a grain of salt though
@@CoolCatsTv1 Well he has been right about quite a few things. I dont agree with pushing that digital currency crap, but when it comes to music industry impact stuff, he has been right quite a bit.
Bro forgot freiza was keep calling saiyans "monkeys" 😂 👀
😂 I totally forgot, but come on man
That’s because they turned part Ape at Super Saiyan Level 4.
@@ItsEC3Well it’s because of the tails, and turning into great apes. Super Saiyan 4 wasn’t a concept when Frieza was introduced
@@jacobmartin5714 That's basically what I just said, and the English overdub happened like 5 years after the SS4 concept, so that information was already available.
@@AveMcreeright this man been holding that in smh
Something told me not to join Beatclub and I'm glad I listened
And to think he got a lifetime achievement award with Swizz. Had me feeling sorry for him and Missy the way DeVante Swing treated them.
I got invited to Beatclub before it became public. I made some really great sync money and worked with an amazing A&R. Just another side of the story
This is why I never joined his platform bc I knew this was happening!
My music company is a C-Corp. as such it has owner shares. He may have been talking about that. But if it’s an LLC and he’s talking about shares, and it’s not publicly traded? That’s a huge red flag. I maintain all shares of my c-corp as it pertains directly to ownership not trading.
It all comes down to knowing the business you are trying to get into. They ALL "steal" from each other. You can type in any producer and will find an accusation of them stealing music. Its the business. Knowledge is power!
Beatclub had a nice roster. Petey Pablo, Bubba Sparxx, Ms. Jade, Magoo, Sebastian, then Tink a decade later . Sucked that Timberland didn't know the business side of things.
“And when you get to work with people that have these big magical placements, what do they do? They Beatclub yo ass!” 😂😅
