A Korean viewer passing by here... Not sure how others see it, but it seems a lot of Koreans who've been following Nizi Pro 2 actually predicted that the 7th spot will go to Seita. It's pretty well-known in Korean idol fan community that JYP prefers to have at least one person who can be the "nice one" of the group a.k.a. one who can hold the different personalities together, and Seita'a character all throughout the program fit that description perfectly. I think a lot of people agreed that dance and performance-wise, Eiji was the better option, but if the aim is to have a long-lasting group, it is very important to have someone with a gentle personality, since that usually helps cope with the turbulence that is sure to happen in the earlier years of the group. And JYP is pretty famous for favoring personality over sheer talent. Not sure if what I said makes sense, but apparently that's how people saw it coming.
I'm curious as to why they didn't show much about the character evaluation like they did in A2K, where they made it more explicit that it plays a big part on the overall evaluation. I do feel like the final members of NexZ have pretty different personalities, to the point it's hard to see some of them becoming really close (like Haru and Yuki, or Yu and Yuhi; I've barely see them interact at all, but there's still a long way to go). Seita seems to be such a caring person, he might play a very important role by emotionally supporting at least some of the other members behind the scenes, but I find that Tomoya and Ken seem to be more capable of strengthening the chemistry and dynamics between everyone since they have the most approchable and friendly type of characters. The dynamic did feel a bit better when there were more members, though.
This is very true. I didn’t even think of it from this perspective. Jyp does value personality more than sheer talent. So picking seita over eiji does seem to make more sense. But I just wasn’t thinking he’d get cut. Wish eiji could of debuted and it’d been 8 members 😩
The look of acceptance on Seita's face, knowing he's facing off against Eiji for the final slot. Eiji, a known JYP favorite, a strong contender who was ranked No. 1 in dance at the Japan camp, and shown powerful peerformances early on. Seita knew the odds were against him. He acknowledged his fate, even nodding when told that only one more will be selected. He was just waiting for the end to be short and quick. But JYP had other plans...
I think that too that seita is so good in expression he really make a good emotions unlike eiji , eiji always looked like serious person I think he's shy, I'm a fan of eiji but I have to admit that seita is better than eiji... I know seita he really feel it he didn't make it because he's compete with eiji but not until jyp have others plans he choose seita instead eiji... But this 7 members is so powerful and great choice..
The way you can tell that Seita already accepted his fate when it's down to just 3 of them, that's why he was sobbing really hard (he def thinks he doesn't have any chance)
Yes. I noticed seita had thought in his head there’s no way I made it and that’s okay. It is what it is. But he made it. And I know that’s why he cried so hard. He said so in his speech. So bittersweet for him. I’m so excited to see Nexz!! I’m sure it will be epic when they debut
I was rooting for Eiji all along but like you guys said, Seita proved himself to be the better choice. Not to mention you can't help but feel Seita is all about the other members before himself. He truly deserves the spot.
I so wasn’t ready for eiji to be cut. But I’m very happy for seita! I thought he would be able to debut just from watching him during his first audition. This is going to be a great group of boys!
It was very obvious that JYP wanted Eiji, but the reason why Seita won him the position was because JYP in the end gave more priority to the best combination of members than to Eiji's talent, because if you look, in the end both the Members and 3RACHA saw Seita as someone who got along and supported the group more, JYP looked for that in Eiji until the end, but he never gave that vibe, he always go more soloist, however Seita did manage to convey that in the end which made JYP choose him, imo the lineup is extremely a good one.
I've been a fan of both Eiji and Miraku since the beginning. But I gotta admit the end result was fair, these 7 members proved to be better with their performances and expression than Eiji. I hope they can debut elsewhere as they're still really talented. Eiji, Miraku, Soudai, Sean and Rio (from Tokyo bootcamp) can definitely form a Hip Hop - R&B group with another label, seriously!
Yes I’m so excited to see what nexz has in store for us!! I truly hope the ones eliminated keep pushing forward and we get to see them debut as well! If you ever find out of one debuting or being in another show please share!!
@@SerenityReacts Sure thing! Perhaps some other labels have reached out to some of them already. And NEXZ will release their first single in a few hours, can't wait to see the MV!
I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, preparing myself for some tears, but funnily, I was laughing while watching Tomoya and Ken cry because they sound like young kids crying. It was so cute to see them expressing themselves. I was honestly shocked too and was expecting Eiji to get called, but I guess it wasn't his destiny to be in this group. Maybe fate has other plans for him so I wish him and Miraku luck. What really made me cry was when near the end and everyone was cheering up the eliminated boys, Team Rain Boys gathered for the last time with Yu and Haru hugging Eiji and telling him "We'll definitely dance together someday" and "We'll share the same stage again so don't give up" and Eiji answering "I'll try my best" because it was the only time that Eiji truly started crying and Yu too. It's unfortunate we won't see a recreation of the legendary "It's Raining" stage with these 3 again. All in all, I wish the NEXZ members success on their debut and hope that they will follow into the footsteps of NiziU. To Miraku and Eiji, I wish you success in your future activities too. May you guys meet each other on the same stage again someday. Thank you Nizi boys! 🌈✨️
Tomoya turning to talk to the other members and his speech automatically becoming an unintelligible sob was so funny and heartwarming. Poor Ken was crying like a baby. On the other hand, Yu kept himself so serious. Even when they blew the confetti Haru kind of wanted to go to him and Ken, Ken held Haru's hand but Yu just looked at him and nodded. It might be a personality thing, but I think Yu was really keeping Eiji and Miraku in mind. It was really sweet to see the members comforting each other when the credits rolled.

I think JYP needs another Got7 band so not surprise to go with 7members. And their debut performance MV is out now ...let's have fun..😊
I couldn’t believe it. I thought for sure Shawn would be there instead of Seita, but when he got cut, I thought Eiji would for sure be in the line up. I watched a few youtube videos on the reaction and one person said that Eiji is just not kpop enough and might have not been able to work well with the JYP coaches. This reasoning really made sense to me. We never know what happens in the background.
Yuki is a stable member from the end of season 1, everyone knew he is going to debut, not only his vocals but dance and rap like JYP said in season 1 he is the MVP xD
If you know the history of jyp groups, there is a reason for JYP's choice. This trend grew stronger due to three incidents that occurred in the company's early days. Looking at the departure of the boy group called Ryang Hyeon-Ryang (almost the same incident as The FIFTY), Jay Park's departure from 2PM, and Wonder Girls' departure, older Koreans understand why JYP attaches importance to these things.
A strange choice that may seem strange to Western fans, but upon closer inspection, turns out to be an extremely reasonable choice from JYP's perspective. In other words, Western fans criticize JYP a lot online, saying they are unreasonable, but long-time KPOP fans actually think that it makes sense.
Yes I completely agree. I wish I knew more of the history but I’ve see jyp creation in groups and I know his reasoning for the selection are typically with good reason. And I also enjoy that there’s a handful of comments who know jyps past shows and selections and help give insight on why he probably chose who he chose!
Honestly, if Eiji has the opportunity to debut as a soloist, i wouldn't like him to be in an agency that has his own style, because if we all saw RAIN in Eiji, he would have to debut in JYP, because well, let's remember that RAIN is the most JYP thing ever, for that reason if Eiji debuts as a soloist i would not like him to be in SM, YG or HYBE where they would change that Rain vibe, and since JYP is no longer an option i find it difficult to find an agency where he can show that essence , the only one that comes to mind would be Cube (since Rain was there) or KQ, or even the Rain Company itself, although it has a bad reputation, well let's hope how it goes for him in the future.@@Ruan_Wanvi
@@leoynadamas7227 I would also love to see Eiji remain with JYP and wait for his next chance to debut. By doing that he gets to be around his buddies who are now in Nexz and become labelmates with endless colab chances in the future as well. It doesn't get any more wholesome than that, does it. However, I do believe Eiji's ability extends beyond the Rain vibe if he has more time to improve. It might be subjective, but I always thought Eiji matches Rain at Dancing but is significantly better than Rain when it comes to vocals (this is not to discredit Rain since Rain is a great artist as well). Ikr!! Such a beautiful group! So well rounded each and everyone of them. Like I’m not even upset. Plus watching their music video helps too! Congratulations on the new job and I hope all has been well! I appreciate you coming back 🫶🏼
when i saw this show i couldn't bring myself to read comments. in the end i peeked at the comments and saw a korean comment that inserted the number 9. i didn't know what it meant and thought JYP would debut them all😢. then it turns out that only 7 members were selected. my heart is broken here. eiji and miraku i hope you continue your training at JYP. Congratulations tomoya, haru, yu, yuhi, yuki, ken, and seita🎉fighting!
I was hoping he would debut nine BUT from watching his past shows and miraku skill level I assumed 7-8. But I also know he favorites odd numbers also. So I was like okay it’s probably 7. I just was shocked eiji didn’t make it. It saddens me but with as talent as he is I can see him making it somehow somewhere!
I was very shocked that Eiji didn't make it but there wasn't a bad option, everyone who joined would be great additions, very happy for everyone who made it and thank you for your reactions🩷

i just like makign myself cry ugly everytime and look for who whoever watched this with me since day one everyone like A2k and i was only watchign these boys are the best i wish them all the best in teh world
Compared to NiziU and VCHA, NEXZ cried so much! 😅 They looked like 😭. Maybe in their minds they were thinking about the long grueling process they endured to get there. JYP's next survival show is likely the global one where both males & females can audition (mainly in the USA). Not sure if it'll be for one group combining males & females, or separate groups forming side by side.
@@SerenityReacts Or it starts off open-ended, with JY saying "I don't even know what I'm doing. 😅 We'll just see how it goes, and figure out what to do when most of you are eliminated."
Can't believe Eiji could not made it. Only base on performance, Seita can't overpower Eiji but we only see what jyp crews showed us, few hours of videos, which made me think there is something else with character evaluation... just like a2k final member. Well..what so ever team has been made, group name looks fine and l hope everything goes fine with does wonderful boys. AND overall thanks with your reaction on videos it was fun watching how you react. Have a nice day~~!!!!!
Thank you for watching! 🫶🏼 I felt the same way tbh but after reading some comments and watching nexz new music video it just felt right! I couldn’t imagine the group any other way! This was my favorite series to watch so far!
Yeah… I’ve thought about that too. Or like even if miraku was eliminated the stage before the teams would have been even. Idk what the thought process on all that was.
RUclips won’t let me post them. I have episode one on my Patreon! I’m planning on watching some more next week. I’ve been upgrading my pc and sadly needed more parts and they won’t be in for a few days. So I’m doing without a pc in the mean time.

No thank you so much for being here! I’m sad my Fridays won’t consist of these boys anymore 😩😩. I’m excited to see what their future holds though. Hopefully they release new content soon!!
Hi Serenity! Omg I just started a new job and have been so busy but finally got around to watching! I think it was pretty apparent that miraku was gonna get cut but I’m so sad Eiji wasn’t part of the debut line up! 😭 but at the same time, I love this line up, it’s so bittersweet 🥺 giiiirl Yuuuu is debuting! 😱 I loved when he said he loved Haru and got embarrassed, he’s so cute 🤣 I honestly cant wait to see more Yu and Haru interactions along with tomoya/ken and just all of them, 😭 NexZ ❤️
I was very shocked that Eiji didn't make it but there wasn't a bad option, everyone who joined would be great additions, very happy for everyone who made it
and thank you for your reactions🩷
Thank you for watching! I loved season two so much. I wish eiji was apart of the group and it was 8 butttt I can see why jyp chose seita.
Here I am crying once again watching the final with you. I totally agree, I don't know a group whose members are so pure and sweet, it's impossible not to love them all. The seven chosen are perfect and I wish them the best and I will always support them! NEXZ FIGHTING!!!! ❤
I’m sorry you’re crying again 😩😩😩 I’m so happy for them though and I’m literally on the edge of my seat waiting for more nexz content 🫶🏼💕🌈 Fighting!!
@@SerenityReacts I urgently need their vlogs and their official debut (although I know that will take a few more months)
@@SilviiVildoza right?! I keep looking everyday and I’m like behind the scenes has to be dropping soon
Nina was in as soon as JYP saw here first audition and said "you are a star"
Yes. I think everyone who saw her audition thought that!!
JYPE는 이미 L2K와 E2K 상표권을 등록했습니다. 아마 다음 Show는 라틴 혹은 유럽에서 열릴 것 같습니다.
NEXZのmiracle Korean version T easer でましたよ😍🎉
Omgggg imma have to watch it!! I’m so excited.
@@SerenityReacts NEXZ miracle MV
JAPAN &Korean version出ました❤
ima just say, i got the WHOLE 7/7 LINEUP RIGHT. and i will always be proud of it. 😎😎 best lineup ever
That’s amazing. The line up caught me so off guard. I always thought eiji was going to make it.
i just like makign myself cry ugly everytime and look for who whoever watched this with me since day one everyone like A2k and i was only watchign these boys are the best i wish them all the best in teh world
I feel this!! I truly didn’t think I would cry here 😩😩 I can’t wait to support nexz!
Imagine a show where they are forming two groups. That would truly be crazy.
@@SerenityReacts Or it starts off open-ended, with JY saying "I don't even know what I'm doing. 😅 We'll just see how it goes, and figure out what to do when most of you are eliminated."
@@Amethysto 🤣🤣🤣 bro I would die laughing.
@@SerenityReacts While the contestants react with worry, he'll make his signature open-mouth grin like 😆
I believe it's pronounced Next G. Z in japanese is pronounced like ji which gives the soft g sound. so it's next g for next generation
LOL MAN HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KEEP UP WITH ALL THIS! Thank you for explaining!
あなたの涙に、つい「いいね」を押しちゃいました!
Awe thank you 😩🫶🏼
Love Yu as well
I love them too much ❤ 😢😢😢
Can't believe Eiji could not made it.
I know JYP love Yuki but he's that high was shocking tbh and really glad that Seita make it bcs he's good but jyp rarely praise him....btw love NEXZ!!
I love NEXZ! I’m so happy for all the members who are in it. They are so humble and talented. Do you have a bias?
@@SerenityReacts this is a tough question...I can't pick one,it's between Yu,Yuhi and Ken
@@adlihilfy5168 so you got three then! 🤣
I hope when you have time you can check Ateez out, i think you are gonna like them!
if he werent gonna debut miraku anyways, either sean or sodai couldve gone to the finals and debuted instead 😢😢
still sad for sean 😢😢
Yeah… I’ve thought about that too. Or like even if miraku was eliminated the stage before the teams would have been even. Idk what the thought process on all that was.
We will finally see Tomoya with MARIMI
TOMOYA!! 💕
@@SerenityReacts MARIMI = MAko RIma MIihi
@@Nam_Nam_0013 omgggg I’m so excited for them!!
Tomoya resemble a guy call hunter in xikers
Really? I’ll have to go look this up.
@@SerenityReacts you should, like the resemblance is so much
@@SekinatSaliu I just looked it up and yes they sure do!
NiziU - Make you happy / THE FIRST TAKE のリアクションをして欲しいです!
The first take? I thought I’d done all of them lol tbh. I’ll go look for it!
Eiji is such a plotwist
IKR!!! I was in shock. I couldn’t believe that. A part of me does understand why jyp went with seita. So I hope we see eiji debut elsewhere!
Eiji🥹😢🫶
Ikr 😩😩 I pray we get to see his debut soon.
Did i miss it or did they not get a single girl group song to cover during the whole season?
No actually. I never thought of that being a possibility
@@SerenityReactsthat's interesting given that the girls got some boy group songs
@@soniaiboyako4023 agreed!
not related to this but did you already watch skz survival show? because i cannot see your reaction to those maybe it got block😢❤.
RUclips won’t let me post them. I have episode one on my Patreon! I’m planning on watching some more next week. I’ve been upgrading my pc and sadly needed more parts and they won’t be in for a few days. So I’m doing without a pc in the mean time.
Can't you hear them say "tomoya" ??? why do you say "towmowwyaa"
I’m not sure. I just always say it like that. Guess I find some enjoyment in saying his name like that. I’ll work on it.
I like Seita, but even I have to admit that his looks helped him get into the group. Eiji is more talented and deserves to be in the group.
For, me personally eji is one of my fav contestant but he gives more of a solo vibe.
