One evening a few months back, I noticed a rather large leaf had blown up in the wind and was wrapped around my front door porch light. I got a step ladder and went to remove it, but as I reached for it, the "leaf" unfolded its wings and flew off into the night! It was a large bat, not a leaf at all! Scared the daylights out of me! 😱

My first trip to Canada, my friends and I stayed in a cabin. 2am..we're awoken by a sound..thats moving everywhere. My friend turned a light on and yep..there it was..a big ol bat flying around. We ALL freaked out lolololol. Ended up shushing it out the door with a couch cushion. 😂😂
I've been scared of bats since I was a teenager. We lived in an older home and they would come in the house from the attic. I can remember taking a bath and have them dive bomb my head! We would always have to get the lady that lived down stairs come get them out for us.
When we first bought our house we had bats swooping around in the early am my husband used a tote box lid to swat it and he later found where they were getting in

I had a bat fall in my driveway yrs. ago. Neighbor was nice enough to get it. Then once I want to the hospital to visit a friend and the staff had tennis rackets trying to catch a bat in the hallway. I couldn't get in a small room fast enough that said employes only and slam the door shut!! LOL Nightmare.

What in the world is a "nappy dish?"
At my goodwill outside philly an employee told me they r not supposed to put anything over $30 on the floor, so they do cherry pick. I cant find anything worth it. Except maybe clothes, i can find something good. As far as vintage glass never, no fenten ever 😢 your stores always have the goods.
