    So the downfall timeline was the original timeline, but Zelda tried to send knowledge back in time to prevent it which resulted in the original split-timeline? This is actually the first theory that made me think this three timeline thing might actually make sense. Very intriguing work!

      Why would you think that a timeline that nintendo themself made would be wrong? Oh ya gametheory -.- but take this in mind u cant put theory from our no magic boring world into a world with magic like hyrule... That why i dont like that kind of theory...

      Vincent Dufault He didn't say it was wrong, he said it was confusing, and this helped clarify it for him. Let's be honest, Nintendo was a bit vague when it came to how some of this stuff related to each other, I don't blame game theory for throwing it out the window. Honestly, Vortex is the first person I've seen that has made this much sense out of it!

      +ariwl1 wait a minute.....link never actually traveled to the future technically right????? i thought the sage said his spirit was sealed there for seven years......so wouldnt that mean that time passed normally like it should have????? Which means that, that timeline is what wouldve happened normally if say link decided not to do anything???? sooooo is zelda sending him back in time? or is she rewinding time? if she is sending him back then wouldnt that mean there would be two links???? if she rewinded time how could Link manage to hold on to knowledge he obtained in the future????

    • @ariwl1
      @ariwl1 8 лет назад +8

      00 Raiser It is strange. At first Link didn't travel through time so much as time continued as normal while he was in his spiritually induced coma or whatever you want to call it. He didn't actually "travel" through time until he woke up and was able to use the Master Sword to go back and forth at will. In the end Zelda does send him back in time for a second chance, but the split-timeline idea indicates that her timeline continued on as is even though Link was sent back. So it's implied that once a timeline exists you can't undo it; only go back and try again hoping for a better outcome or make do with the timeline you're stuck in.

      +00 Raiser I believe it's because when Zelda sends Link back to his childhood, the Link sealed in the temple of Time ceases to exist.

    I simply LOVE this theory.
    I always wondered why the Hero of Time was sealed in the Sacred Realm because other games it didn't seem like age made a difference when it came to the Master Sword. Raru wanting to prevent his death due to inexperience just explains it all! Amazing work Vortex. :D

      James Hallock Don't know if this has been answered or covered yet but,
      I always wondered how Link was still proficient in battle and using weapons after "sleeping" in the Sacred Real for seven years. On top of that, how did he stay so fit and muscular too? Something must have happened during that time xD

    • @BlitzenFuhrer
      @BlitzenFuhrer 9 лет назад +5

      Sammie O'Grady May not be the answer you're looking for but sometimes I feel it's the only thing you can use for cases like this. Basically, magic. Hyrule clearly has a lot of magic and it doesn't always follow the laws of nature like our world. For example, have you ever tried holding a bomb above your head and then letting it explode? Link can, several times, in fact, before he dies - do you think we would have the same luck? xD So the way I take it is that whilst he is sleeping some sort of power or magical force is making sure he grows strong, and ready to just step right out and resume his quest.

    • @nworder4life
      @nworder4life 8 лет назад +5

      +Sammie O'Grady You can explain how he is able to use weapons and be battle ready as an adult. The fact is the hero of time is an incarnation of Skyward Sword Link, SS Links spirit exists within every Link as he is eternally bound to incarnate alongside Hylia. Basically every Link is his own person but they carry the traits of the hero. SS Link forged the master sword, and went through all the trials to turn him back into Hylia's true hero and that's why every Link can wield the master sword (his sword) and why they all know how to fight and use all the weapons.
      I mean look at TP Link, a farmer and all of a sudden he awakens as the hero and is a complete badass.

      The nintendo already disproved this theory, since it is stated that link is defeated in the final battle against ganondorf. That is, you need to create a theory from the scene already known at the end of the game.
      My theory about the timeline of the defeated hero.:
      ______________________________________________________
      Link dies at the hands of Ganon and zelda is not very useful in this battle. So with the help of the wise, zelda saddle ganondorf and Triforce (as it is written in hyrule legends), and after that, she notes a defeated hero, possibly dead. Then she takes his ocarina of time and sends itself back to the past, a few moments before Ganon defeat link, leaving behind a timeline where the time hero had been killed and she and the wise men had sealed ganon. After returning a few moments before link die, she would try to be more useful and open an opening against Ganon, as we saw at the end of ocarina of time. Link then defeat Ganon and zelda send him back to the past and create the other two lines of the time we know.
      I believe to be the most convincing theory so far, since the two lines of the child and adult link time are not alternate endings, are lines that coexist. However, the only line that served as an excuse was the scenario where the link had been defeated. The latter would be only a hypothetical theory without any relation to time travel.
      We can consider that every timeline created relates to a carrier of the Triforce. The line of adult zelda time has to do with it. The line of the link child time is related to it. And the line of the defeated hero of the time has to do with Ganon.
      Thus, we can conclude that the two timelines created after the battle between Link and Ganon, coexist within this first created by zelda princess after a result of failure of the hero.
      What do you think about? I believe it is possible zelda have created these three lines of time and the end of the game we have not understood its importance to that link was successful. After all, the legend does not belong to link, but the zelda.

      It is indeed confirmed the game is set in the Downfall Timeline.
      Introduction synopsis reads:
      "That all ended when a beast that came to be known as Calamity Ganon appeared. The Hero and the Princess attempted to stop the evil, but the Hero ultimately failed. "
      Which is the plot of Ocarina in the Downfall timeline. The synopsis also describes what appears to be "The Imprisoning War" and the game clearly indicates it is set sometime after this. It is not yet confirmed it is set after Ganon lost his physical form(in Zelda 1 & 2), but that also looks likely now.... Yes I just said the game appears to be "Zelda 3"!!!!
      I was not surprised as "A Link Between Worlds" also returned to the Downfall Timeline, indicating Nintendo's desire to shift back to the SNES and NES era in the Zelda timeline.

      turns out that the failure of the hero they were talking about actually occured within the plot of breath of the wild, they weren't referring to the failure of the hero from ocarina, however it ALSO just so happens that breath of the wild IS in the downfall timeline, evidenced by the existence of lynels and the yellow stripe on the hero's cap you get if you complete all the shrines.

      @GonKillua85 8 лет назад +4

      Well, not necessarily. While this theory is okay, it presents a few errors.
      1) *The Triforce Doesn’t Punish Ganondorf At All*
      Firstly, the wish made by the Princess from Zelda II to punish Ganondorf did not alter her timeline. Therefore, Ganondorf was never punished.
      As we know, there are two types of time travel. There is the “Same Continuity” time travel, which whatever happens in the past would alter the future. This is what happens with the Gate of Time in Skyward Sword, and the Master Sword in Ocarina of Time. There is also the “New Continuity” time travel, which creates a new timeline altogether. This is what happens when Zelda sends Link back to being a child.
      During the Golden Era, The Hylian Kings used the Triforce to preserve order in the land. This means that their wishes affected the same continuity. But this video states that Princess from Zelda II’s wish creates a new continuity.
      *In order to ‘punish’ Ganondorf, the Triforce making a new continuity seems silly. The Triforce wouldn’t warp Princess from Zelda II’s wish and make a change that in no way alters her life.*
      *And because it didn't alter he life, she would have to assume that nothing happened. As a result, she would most likely make ANOTHER wish, and another one, and another one, until she saw a difference. There could very well be more than three timelines.
      Secondly, that same wish led to a new timeline, “the adult timeline”. *As stated in the video, that timeline is no better. Instead of Hyrule being reduced to a small kingdom, Hyrule is flooded and doesn’t exist.* Once again, the wish does not help Princess from Zelda II. It just makes things worse for Hyruleans in the newly created timeline. Even the Child Timeline has its flaws. I have a hard time believing that the Triforce would JUST create a worse timeline as a result of the Princess’s wish, instead of making a change within the same continuity. The Triforce doesn’t grant her wish. It does the opposite.
      Thirdly, just like the Kings before her, Princess Zelda would be smarter to wish for prosperity, not wish to punish Ganondorf. *The Kingdom’s decline had nothing to do with Ganon at all. It declined because the complete Triforce was separated by one of the kings, and as a result, Hyrule continued shrink because the Royal Family could no longer make wishes to preserve order. (Hyrule Historia, pg.105)* She never even seen Ganon in her life.
      Finally, if the Princess of Zelda II indeed made a wish to punish Ganondorf, it would seem *much more logical that the Triforce would prevent the most recent resurrection of Ganon before the original Legend of Zelda , OR go very far back and stop the arrival of Demise, Ganondorf's predecessor.* It seems weird to cherrypick Ocarina of Time as the time to send back prophetic dreams. Preventing Demise from existing would have stopped Demise from being reincarnated, and would’ve indeed punished Ganondorf.
      Overall it takes a few errors and a lot of assumptions to make this theory solid.
      2) *The Unawakened Sages were, indeed, awakened.*
      In The Adventure of Link, the towns are named after the sages in Ocarina of Time. If those sages were unawakened, this would make no sense. The towns would’ve been named after the human sages, the maidens, or the sages from A Link Between Worlds.
      *Page 108 of Hyrule Historia states **_“Many years after they sealed away the demonic thief Ganondorf, the sages live on in the names of the towns: Rauru, Ruto, Saria, Nabooru, and Darunia.”_*
      This is proof that those sages were indeed awakened.

      My theory about the timeline of the defeated hero.:
      __________________________________________________________

      ***** It's kind of confusing because the art style is a mix of A Link Between Worlds and what a 3ds Four Swords game would look like. I don't think it would be in the Adult time line though as I believe the game will revolve around the Triforce in some way. Hence the name Triforce Heroes. In the adult timeline the Triforce was buried beneath the waves of the Great Sea along with the rest of Hyrule. If you have watched HMK's video he goes through several reasons why the game probably takes place in the downfall timeline. And also, the game's director never specifically said it took place in Hyrule, but in a fashion savy kingdom. Then again, you do have the option of wearing Princess Zelda's dress...
      I guess we will have to wait and see when it comes out this fall.

    Right, this is the score: Rauru said "You were too young to be the Hero of Time.... Therefore your spirit was sealed here for seven years." He then says directly after "Your power to fight together with the Sages makes you the Hero of Time! The Hero of Time, chosen by the Master Sword!" The Master Sword had chosen Link already, he was predestined to become the HoT. If the power to fight with the Sages makes Link the HoT, then this specifically did not require 7 years of remaining dormant, nor did it require defeating Ganondorf - do you see where this is going? In the 'Hero is Defeated Timeline', Link fought along the Sages and lost, but Ganon was still sealed... Rauru specifically states "When evil rules all, an awakening call from the Sacred Realm will call those destined to be Sages, who dwell in the five temples... Together with the Hero of Time, the awakened ones will bind the evil and return the light of peace to the world..." No mention of the HoT awakening the Sages himself (that was caused by Ganon during Link's absence of being sealed for 7 years) and most importantly NO mention of defeating Ganondorf/ Ganon/ evil in general, only 'binding evil' i.e. the Sages seal on Ganon which later became known as the Imprisoning War. This whole event is reiterated by the Zora Stone Tablets in BotW, and specifically mentions Ruto fighting alongside the Hero of Legend, to stop an 'evil man' (Ganondorf) with no mention of Ganondorf's defeat. castlevaniadungeon.net/forums/index.php?topic=9669.0

    If the Sages from OcT were never awakened in the downfall timeline, why did their names appear in "The Adventure of Link" (the last game that's on the downfall timeline) as the names of most of the towns from the game? Coincidence? I think not . Don't get me wrong, i like all your other theories but this one might be flawed.
    The theory that I would go with and would have to just accept it as reality, is that Link(OcT) did everything he did in from the game but just died in the final battle.

      +Cap XD Not to mention the only way into the sacred realm is the 3 spiritual stones, the ocarina of time, and the master sword. Remember, Ganondorf needed Link to open the door of time and remove the master sword in order for him to sneak into the temple of light and claim his part of the triforce. So this whole theory is pretty much flawed like you said.

      They were automatically awakened because when Link pulled up the Master Sword, they materialised as awoken in the Chamber of Sages. In the OOT game, Link is put to sleep for 7 years, and Rauru tells the player that the Sages can't awaken because the evil that fills the temples is blocking the call from the Sacred Realm: "Because of the evil power in the temple, she cannot hear the awakening call from the Sacred Realm" - Rauru (talking about Saria). The main thing I don't buy with this theory is that the unawakened Sages could seal Ganon in the Sacred Realm. The entire point of awakening OOT's sages becomes null. In addition, ALBW shows us that awakening the sages awakens the Triforce of Courage which is stated to lie in the heart of the Hero. If this was true then unawakened Sages would technically mean a dormant piece of the Triforce.
    Also the spirits of the Sages who seal Ganondorf in the TR in TP are the spirits of the Ancient Sages in TP imo. I don't believe there are two sets of Sages.

    The only thing I feel I wish to add to this brilliant theory, is Link being held in the Sacred Realm for seven years did likely have a connection to experience, but it might have been /more/ dependably on the age of the Seven Sages. If Link had challenged Ganondorf without the Seven Sages, certain power used in the climax of Ocarina of Time would be unavailable to him. He doesn't gain any experience sleeping but the sages mature. Suppose that the sages needed to be of an age to be awoken; the only sage who is ever a child is a Kokori sage and all others are adults. This means that Ruto, Zelda, and (the sage of spirit whose name escapes me at the moment :P) had to grow of age so Link could awaken them and stop Ganondorf.

    I have a similar, but somewhat simpler version of this theory. I think that Downfall timeline is the original timeline, as you say here. However, I believe that it simply resulted from Link not originally being sealed in the Sacred Realm, but instead standing his ground against Ganondorf to defend the Triforce in a last ditch effort to stop him. This resulted in Link's death, but before Ganaondorf could claim the Triforce, Rauru and the other Sages sealed the gates of the Sacred Realm behind him, trapping him there. Essentially, the timeline was changed by Link's first trip through time, into the future.

    Fascinating theory, brilliantly thought out, and your explanation of the ALBW sages is much appreciated. I find the most simple and coherent explanation, IMO, is that whenever Link is caught at an impasse unable to progress in the future of OOT, and he goes back to change the past, he alters the circumstances leading to that point and creates a time paradox. Thus leaving a timeline where Link is unable to rescue all the Sages, thus unable to seal Ganondorf in the final battle. Basically consider the sacking of Kakariko by Bongo Bongo, who he can not defeat without creating the Song of Storms Paradox, and gathering the Lens of Truth, from the Kakariko Well as a child. Further his inability to enter the Spirit Temple, without gaining the Mirror Shield in the past. Now refer to the fact that a separate set of ancient sages seal Ganon in the Downfall timeline, the same ones referenced in ALTTP and appearing in TP, that still applies here...

    Thank you! I was one of the people that thought the Downfall Timeline was unnecessary. This makes a lot of sense. The only question that came to mind was why Zelda was unable to have prophetic dreams the first time around, as Zelda is the goddess Hylia reborn. The only answer I could come up with was that Ganondorf somehow sensed her importance and crafted a way to interfere with her powers.

    Okay, I gotta agree with you there in regards to the Downfall Timeline;
    1. The fact that you addressed the possibility of how Link could've been blocked out of getting to the Spiritual Stones and how Ganondorf eventually founded a workaround was pretty smart- including the split of the Timeline and how he ended up getting his butt kicked as well as the Ancient Sages.
    2. The connections with the Link of the Past and the Link Between Worlds with this does make a lot of sense with them considered as well as the Racially diverged Sages as well. But Rosso being both Hylian and Goron.. Ooooh god the Fan-0ficiton with this revelation. But Gulley as well... Hm- good point.But Seres and Osfala as well being related Sages... Nice idea.
    3. The last one with the first two games being the connection between Ocarina of Time could make a WHOLE lot to sense; since Zelda would see her dreams as well to see it- but perhaps it was connected to Rauru as well; since Rauru was connected to the Royal Family as well, that means he could've seen the Prophecy as well and tried to protect Link at all cost... but again like you said, it actually made Hyrule's fate a lot worse than it does. I guess it did fall on Link to set things right with the Child Timeline since he would have both knowledge in mind.

    This is one of my Favorite Video because it explains how the downfall universe/timeline was created and as Vortexygaming said the Zelda from Zelda 2 the Last game in the Downfall Timeline prayed to the Gods to Punish Gannon so the Gods from Zelda 2 sent Prophetic Dreams to the Zelda from Ocarina of Time changing the Timeline and creating the Adult Link Timeline/universe, so when you think about it Ocarina of Time is a Sequel to Zelda 2 the Adventure of Link because if Link from Zelda 2 the Adventure of Link did not wake the Zelda from his Timeline/universe she would not be there to pray to the gods to punish Gannon and the Gods would not send Prophetic dreams to the Ocarina of Time Zelda and in turn she would not instruct Link to pull the master sword and create the Adult timeline.

    I know this comment is 3 years late, but I wanted to tell you this is a great theory! I've thought similarly about the downfall timeline, though I like the idea that one of the Zeldas from LOZ/AOL went back in time and used a Fairy spell to become Navi--so the reason she's so overbearing is because she knows Link could very well die! And the reason she leaves at the end of the game is to keep herself from affecting this new timeline any further. I didn't have any of that stuff about the two sets of sages though. That's pretty good!

    In light of recent games, I like the idea that the downfall timeline is from young link fighting ganondorf. The sage of light didn’t know to keep him for 7 years and he had already met 5 of the 6 sages. He wouldn’t have been nearly as strong, and might had failed to defeat him. Rauru’s spirit knowing about ganondorf would explain why he would intervene

  • @Mudkip971
    @Mudkip971 8 лет назад +2

    This makes so much sense. It would explain why Twinrova was alive in the Oracle series. And that kinda explains the whole deal with the sleeping Zelda in Zelda 2. And this would debunk Matt Pat's theory of the Declined timeline not being a timeline and instead being a parallel universe. Meaning the are all timelines. But their are a few problems with this:
    -If Link was killed and Ganon got his Triforce how did he get Zelda's without killing her?
    -Only Link can pull the Master Sword from the pedestal so how did Ganon succeed in getting the Triforce?

      @nworder4life 8 лет назад +2

      +Amazing Rushil (AmazingR) Too bad vortexy didn't catch this. You're absolutely right, the towns in Zelda 2 would only be named for famous or historical figures in history and in order for that to be the case, they needed to awaken as OOT sages in the downfall timeline and be the heroes that sealed away Ganon.

    • @pandoradoggle
      @pandoradoggle 8 лет назад +1

      Since we know the Ancient Sages were the ones who sealed Ganon into the Sacred Realm / Dark World, we also know that the Ocarina of Time sages weren't needed to awaken as sages themselves in the Downfall Timeline. But they were (almost) all still famous in their own right even apart from their identities in the other timelines as Awakened Sages. Ruto was a princess, Darunia was a chief, etc. Maybe they all achieved notoriety during the Imprisoning War fighting against Ganondorf's forces.

    • @nworder4life
      @nworder4life 8 лет назад +1

      pandoradoggle your mistaken, it's the child timeline where Link did not open the door of time and go through all the dungeons to awaken the sages. That timeline is the timeline of TP and thus the ancient sages returning.
      the downfall timeline is directly related to the hero of time dying to Ganondorf after he awakened the OOT sages.That si why it makes sense for the towns in Zelda 2 to be named after the OOT sages.

Then when Zelda sent Link back it caused another split...

    I guess I'm a bit late to the party...
    Anyways, I just want to say that the fact that the Hero of Time was sealed for 7 years might have happened solely because of the fact that this specific problem of Hyrule needed time-travel. Rauru (okay, technically it was his owl form, but I think we both know they're more or less one and the same) himself said, "A long time in this world is almost nothing to you, is it? How mysterious! Even I thought that the tales of a boy who could travel back and forth through time was merely a legend." Unfortunately, we don't know when this legend was made, but we do know that there existed an expectation, far-fetched as it may have seemed, for a hero to be able to travel through time.

    • @adruck7254

      Depends on your interpretation.

    • @adruck7254
      @adruck7254 9 лет назад +3

      I missed it earlier, but I think Rauru says that Link needed to be sealed for seven years in order to become the Hero of Time specifically, not just a hero. That actually simplifies things pretty well.

    • @MrZangetsu468
      @MrZangetsu468 5 лет назад +4

      @@adruck7254 Rauru said "You were too young to be the Hero of Time.... Therefore your spirit was sealed here for seven years." However, he then says directly after "Your power to fight together with the Sages makes you the Hero of Time!

    Now, if only we could figure out why Hyrule Warriors and Tri Force Heroes exist outside of the timeline. From what I heard, HW's story is implied to be in the child timeline inbetween TP and FSA, but Aonuna contradicts that by relegating it to another universe. I've thought of a few places for TFH, too- after Minish Cap, before ALttP or maybe some time after- I'm just basing that on the gameplay and the mix of FS and ALttP character designs. Plus the GBA version of ALttP had that bonus dungeon, the Temple of the Four Sword.
    Ack- pardon me- I'm rambling now. I'm just really passionate about the timeline.

    If the sages in the Downfall timeline were not the ones that were in the Adult timeline, then how could the towns in Zelda 2 have their name?
    "Many years after they sealed away the demonic thief Ganondorf, the sages live on in the names of the towns: Rauru, Ruto, Saria, Nabooru, and Darunia."- page 108 of the Hyrule Historia

    • @VortexxyGaming
      @VortexxyGaming  9 лет назад +9

      Good point. The only explanation I can think of is that every unawakened sage was already a prominent member of their society, with Impa, Darunia, Nabooru and Ruto being leaders of their tribes. Rauru is an ancient sage and the protector of the Triforce, and if my theory is correct, a member of the royal family as well. So an important guy. Saria is also prominent in the Kokiri society, but not a leader.

    • @martytardigrade8838
      @martytardigrade8838 9 лет назад

      ***** Ok, important members of society. That makes a little more sense.

    • @softlypurrsasmr5499
      @softlypurrsasmr5499 9 лет назад +6

      ***** But it refers to them as having sealed Ganondorf. So they have sealed him and the town were named after them for the heroic act, I suppose, to commemorate them.
      Marty has already quoted it exactly, note that it refers to them as having sealed Ganondorf and being the sages. So that means Saria and all were sages and they were the ones that sealed Ganondorf.
      My theory is that Link simply loses the fight against Ganondorf, as it is said on page 92 and the awakened sages (Saria and all) seal him away, that's the simplest explanation, Occam's razor. Hyrule Historia very much hints at this, on page 90, under "The decisive battle with Ganondorf", note the use of the word "decisive". It means it is the most important, it decides the fate of Hyrule, who wins and who loses. Under the words "Link vs. Ganondorf" it is written "If the Hero of Time is defeated, a different timeline will unfold. (Turn to page 92.)" This means that fight is the one Link loses at and combined with the fact that the sages are awakened, Link simply loses. There's nothing more to it.
      But I've got to admit your theory is more interesting, it makes for a better video since it is entertaining but it contradicts Hyrule Historia and is far from being simple (Occam's razor). I feel fans will continue to deny the simple explanation though, because it's "too simple". Well the most simple is often the truth, even if it doesn't make as much of an interesting story.
      I'll be looking forward to your next videos, I've subscribed a while back and watched all of them. ^_^

    I have to say I love this theory, because it fills a lot of gaps in the timeline, like the reason why Twinrova is alive in the Oracle games like someone down there in the comments pointed out. However, it still contains one _possibly_ big inconsistency (not like the official timeline is perfect anyways): The theory supposes OoT Link never awakened his era's sages, so he went to battle Ganondorf untested. However, in AoL, there are some towns named after the sages (Rauru, Saria, Ruto, Nabooru, Darunia and Mido). If Link didn't awaken the sages, there wouldn't be a reason those towns were called that other than coincidence.
    Still, one of them being called "Mido Town" could mean they were not sages in this timeline after all, and just prominent people whithin their tribes.

    (quoting Doc Brown) Great Scott! that's one heavy theory.
    Let me get this straight:
    Downfall timeline is the original timeline because Zelda and Link never had the dreams of the future which led to Ganondorf coming to power and Link not being strong enough to take him on and dying.
    Then comes Adult Timeline which was even WORSE but since Zelda (ooT) sent Link back in time to relive his childhood it created Child Timeline almost simultaneously.
    So Child Timeline was the timeline that was the result of the Princess Zelda from Zelda 2 and OoT Zelda messing with the space-time continuum and not considering the results of the butterfly effect.

  • @TheSenhorcaioo

    Great video. Some people say that the OoT was a reboot to the series and you have confirmed it. You see, in the remake of mortal kombat, moments before Raiden receives a killing blow from Shao Kahn, he sends a message to himself in the past and to change all the events of the series. It's Similar to what Zelda did.

    ______________________________________________________

    It is an interesting theory, but there is one thing that you forgot. Link still retains the knowledge of the events that transpired in the adult timeline, including the song of the royal family as well as secret passages & melodies to travel. Simply mentioning the Triforce to Impa would likely grab her ear. And with the history surrounding the Triforce, there is a chance that despite receiving no premonitions of the events that would transpire in the fallen timeline, Zelda & Impa might not want to take a chance and believe in Link since he has safely guarded knowledge that no simple boy would simply just know.

    I really do like how you tied "AoL's" ending to "OoT'". It's likely the most speculative theory you've ever mentioned on your channel, yet it feels so right. Though I'm not sure I'm entirely on board with every aspect of your theory in how things progressed from that point onward, it really doesn't matter. The key factor here is that no Zelda had access to the completed Triforce during the time that "Sleeping Zelda" was sleeping. This would also be the first time since "A Link Between Worlds" that the Triforce was whole, and therefore the very first opportunity for such an action to occur since Ganon's resurrection.
    NOTE: There are other reasons why this theory involving Sleeping Zelda works so well, but it delves into a tangent topic so I trimmed it up a bit. =P
