A MASS-IVE Coincidence…? The Great Gravity Mystery |

Why do all objects fall at the same rate ? Objects fall due to gravity. And the gravitational force is proportional to mass. So one may assume that heavier objects may fall faster. However given a force how much an object accelerates is also inversely proportional to the mass of the object (a = F/m). These two processes exactly cancel each other leading to the universality of free fall. However these two scenarios lead to two different kinds of mass. Gravitational mass being a measure of the gravitational force while inertial mass being a measure of resistance to motion. Now why are these so equal. Clearly they lead to pretty distinct properties. In this video we explore the relationship between these two types of masses. We also talk about the equivalence principle from general relativity and the origin of mass in the Higgs mechanism.

Hello,
I would suggest that there exists a much simpler explanation for gravity. Gravity has nothing to do with curvature of space, it is a a combination of two forces, Attraction and repulsion, and begins with the atom.
There has just been published an alternative hypothesis to the standard model, called ' The Two Monopole Particle Universe ', by Tony Norman Marsh, which explains this and very much more.

Здравствуйте. Вопросы. Что скорость света вакууме константа - нужно подтвердить прямым опытом? Или кто-то пример, таких опытов может привести (опыт Майкельсона 1882/2024 г в этом плане выполнен всего на 50%). Почему легче современным физикам ещё написать новых 1000 теории как ОТО Эйнштейна, чем проделать один прямой опыт за два столетия?
