3:54 this is nice but sadly you are wrong. there was a book written, and ive been studying quantum mechanics for a while, but in this book they tried the double slit experiment on a molecular level with no conscious mind involved, only a measurer, the results still changed. "observing" is a misleading term because itn makes people assume they're talking about a human or scientists observing, but in reality it is an observer machine that changes it, not humans observation. the double slit experiment is still really interesting and cool, but it does not prove that consciousness can affect reality at a qauntum level
Finally a nerd and an insightful comment! ;-) You're absolutely right that the observer effect doesn't require human consciousness any measuring device can collapse the wave function. I could have been clearer about this distinction in the video. However the relationship between measurement and consciousness is still am open question in quantum mechanics. While measurement devices can cause wave function collapse physicists still debate what constitutes measurement and how the classical world emerges from quantum effects. That's partly why theories like von Neumann's chain & the quantum Zeno effect remain interesting areas of research.
😄😄 Actually, quantum consciousness theory isn't about consciously choosing our physical reality it's about how consciousness might interact with quantum processes at a fundamental level. For example it's like just as we don't consciously control our heartbeat or cell division, quantum consciousness operates at a much deeper level than our surface preferences! The theory deals more with how consciousness might be involved in collapsing quantum wave functions and potentially connecting different realities, rather than giving us the power to change our appearance.
that's a really interesting philosophical angle! 🤔 But quantum consciousness and the many-worlds interpretation actually suggest the opposite cuz instead of reality being just in one person's mind, they point to a vast interconnected universe (or multiverse) where consciousness plays a role at the quantum level. It's more about connection than isolation. The experiments we covered in the video show how this might work without falling into the solipsism trap. Pretty fascinating stuff when you dig into it! Discussing this topic from a philosophical perspective is changing everything. We're working on a new show related to philosophy. In the future we'll cover a bunch of these scientific topics in a philosophical perspective so, stay tuned folks! 😉
@@mikezizis3725 But I think the science we explored in the video actually points to the opposite that consciousness is deeply interconnected with the entire multiverse, not just confined to one individual mind. So it's not about blaming ourselves, but rather understanding our place in this vast, complex cosmic web. Pretty humbling stuff! ;-)
Hey! You’re truly inspiring!
09:52 I prefer to say universes 😊

Disproven very quickly with something as simple as bald spots. Who would see themselves with bald spots?😊😂🎉❤

The universe existed well before the human mind existed.
Great 👍
If all these ideas in the video (together) were true they would lead to solipsism.

Ah yes ... when things don't change ... it's cryptically elptically our own ... fault.
