The straw has separated in a few areas . It was made in Ecuador I now live in England and cannot find the exact style which I love so much . I am trying to have it repaired .I wonder if you have an outlet in England or in Tampa or in Kentucky USA ? I plan to visit these cities in December 2021.
that would be a no, sweat stain is super hard to remove almost impossible from a fur felt hat and a straw, forget it. that was actually one of the reasons why they started making straw hats during the hot months they are a bit cooler but also they were originally much less expensive and so one would buy a straw hat for work and get a season or two fro. them then pitch it. but those are days gone by and straw is quite expensive as well now. the only straw you might have a chance of cleaning up a bit is a coated straw like Shantung, some of the western straw hats are lacquered and you can rinse them off quickly with water before the sweat sets in. hope this helps
