hey everyone, firstly i hope you’re all okay. times are tough, but if we stick together i think we can come out of 2020 stronger than ever. there is so much divisiveness right now in the world coming from the institutionalised ignorance of the older generation, but i think the movements going on right now are going to break that cycle. this video i’m sharing is about unity. i wrote it about my closest friends almost 2 years ago and it has become the most important song of my career to date... especially now. some of you may have heard my song “follow suit” and even seen the video. this is the prequel. i hope you enjoy.

I called my closest friends after I listened this song, and told them I loved them.
Don't know who was in the picture near the end of the video, but I know he must have meant a lot to you. I lost one of my best friends unexpectedly a few years ago, and it's strange how time just keeps moving on. I'm sure you think about him regularly like I do with my bro.
I still get his mail to my house sometimes... I tell myself he's checking in on me from time to time.

It's so refreshing to have an artist who not only puts out meaningful good music but also encourages to fight these toxic social norms.
especially for those men out there who are always told to be strong, not show emotion and be that typical "male stereotype".
If you are only just stumbling across this great artist I hope you check his other songs and realise just how strong the messages he puts out are.
Wishing wells is another perfect example of how we should normalise talking about our feelings as men and to allow that vulnrability without judgment.
