If you live in Sudan, which I understand is a corrupt country, it is probably falsifying data, to obtain some political benefit or to obtain foreign investment, to say to investors: hey, look at the data of my economy, come and invest here , it's a big business
To give you an example, Greece did that in 2004. At that time, Greece had great growth and held the Olympic Games in its country. Then when the country fell into bankruptcy and had to be rescued by the European Union in 2010, we all saw that the 2004 growth data were all false.

FIGURES SOUND STRANGE.
It's actually not that strange. Guyana achieved the most growth because they discovered oil reserves just very recently. However, the figures for some African countries might be misleading because the social and political instabilities in Africa could cause GDP to fluctuate very rapidly from one year to the other. It's not uncommon for a country in Africa to have negative 20% GDP growth in a prior year and then positive 15% growth the year after. That happens a lot in 3rd world countries that are in political turmoil.
