The Nordstrom sale is not the same this year. I only purchased a Le Cruset Dutch oven, and Zelle joggers. I may get a Longchamp mini bag . That’s it. They changed everything this year. The towels I bought last year are discontinued. The sheets are discontinued. Prices are higher and nothing in my opinion looks fashionable. Might as well shop your boutiques like COS , Dissh, Tory Burch they had better sales for clothes. My humble opinion.
The beauty is good as you stated ( u get a better deal as most fragrances come with a gift or miniature version of the perfume) .

Yes I agree!! The fashion didn’t give at all. The few pieces that I liked were sold out before the sale even started which didn’t make any sense to me. Hopefully it’s gets better I hope ❤️

Once with a friend and back to get the perfume I fell in love with on my first trip. I live in Georgia now but I love seeing footage of NY.

Loved the vlog, The Nordstrom Sale is definitely not what it used to be. There was nothing that I really gravitated to! As for Katy Perry's shoe line, she started it in 2017 and she has a website. If you want shoes that are different, she has them.

“Guidance 46” is a new fragrance which is an extrait version of Guidance. It just came out and that version is $520. It’s also not available at unofficial retailers.
@@SimplyPutScents ok ..but Guidance is not new and that is what I was referring to. In addition, I was talking about Amouage in general. 😉

When I lived in Manhattan in my 20s and had a BG card, shopping there regularly was such a beautiful experience. There were refined, knowledgeable Bergdorf shoe salespeople who brought the shoes you had chosen out to you in the boxes and they put the shoe on your foot for you like you were Cinderella. They would size your feet and you’d be recommended shoe styles and sizes. To stand at a clearance rack and try on shoes like you were at Payless for $700 shoes, it really is sad to see where we are and that this is what people accept as modern “quality” and “customer service.” 😢
Hi! I worked in retail for my entire life and currently a manager in operations. I’ve worked in luxury and totally understand where you are coming from. My first pair of Chanel loafers came from lord and Taylor and even on sale the experience was soooo much different. I do think for the set up the prices should’ve been “better”. But I totally get it.
Yes. You deserve so much more at those prices, especially for a first time. BG really was THE creme de la creme of shopping for so long.
I’m assuming BG still hires employees who are very knowledgeable in their respective departments ... staff who can personally assist you in choosing shoes for YOU, based on your personal style, comfort, fit, beloved designer, wearability, etc. That was all part of the experience... even on markdowns ... that there were elite professionals on staff there who custom tailored your needs to their stock, spending time with you, and providing you with luxury for the day and tips on when to come back. I hope that’s still there.
