    Any lasers work well just being controlled from lightkey?

    In MA2 onpc, why I patch laser light (like clubmax) , MA3D only show a moving light appearance?

    • @LearnStageLighting
      @LearnStageLighting  Год назад +1

      Probably because MA3D is free, and it's really designed to only visualize lights, not really lasers.

    Anyone know if you need and how to get a variance in Canada? 🎉

      Here is a page that has a good overview of the different countries rules, including Canada: www.lasershowsafety.info/styled/nonstacks/audscan.html

    So what would be the minimum ceiling height where you could legally use a laser in the US? We don't always have the luxury of 25' ceilings, but I'd hate to make the investment and then find I can't use them in most of the venues we play.
    Also, can a single laser make much of an impact, or do you really need at least a pair in order to achieve that "WOW" factor.

      About 10' at the very minimum, one can make a pretty good impact in a smaller space :)

    How many watt of lasers, it will dangerous for each laser instrument, for the audience eyes, or properties ?

      There are specific lasers that are designed and created for audience scanning. If the laser isn't considered an audience scanning laser, you shouldn't be scanning into the audience.

      But really ANY laser (including small laser pointers) are dangerous to the eyes, unless, as cpigeon4 said, it's a laser designed for audience scanning.

      There are also adapters specifically made for lasers that diffract the beams to make them safe for audience scanning. With these tools a laserist is able to safely scan down low where the audience is standing, while also being able to do beam shows above the audience, where concentrated beams will not hit patrons.
      ...but I suppose this would not be considered "beginner level". 😅😅

      100mW 3 meters from eye or 300mW 10 meters from eye are OK with fast patterns, like tunnels. Do not use single beam patterns... if 600mW will hit you, it will make you cross-eyed for 1-2 hours. It all about how much power and how much milliseconds it stays on open eye. Laserworld CS1000 and DS1000 models you can turn down the blue color and safety use in small areas for 50 people. With 2W and 3W lasers you must only use ceiling patterns above the crowd in small clubs or bar.
