Fun Facts about Malayan Sun Bear - Educational Video for Schools

Malayan Sun Bears or the honey bears, due to their exceptional love towards honey and similar sweet treats, are known as the representatives of the smallest bear species.
But their size shouldn’t fool anyone, despite being the size of an above-average dog, these animals have a very aggressive temper and are known to attack without any notice.
This is just one unusual fact about the sun bear (also known as Helarctos malayanus) but there are many more interesting things that both children and adults should know about these animals.

Yes a very informative and interesting video educating human beings about the amazing sun bear. It is a little depressing to see the sun bears featured in the video are not living in the wild but either a zoo or a sanctuary which is disappointing. Man yet again doing what we do best, destroy and have a negative and detrimental impact on other living beings we share this planet with by destroying animals natural habitat for our own greed and gain. These wonderful, social and intelligent bears must be protected and those bears living free in jungles and forests must be allowed to continue to live safely, freely and wild.
