Ron W. was one of the reasons I became addicted to BMX. Oct. 85 issue of BMX Plus, the Huntington beach contest picture of the one hander-one footer. That picture alone influenced my life so much! I bought a blue 86 sport the next year. i still have bikes but the 86 sport was my fave. I wish I still had it.
john tinoco: yes it is Scott announcing with another person...I did the music for this and a couple other of this series...so low tech, I just winged it, this kind of thing was all new to me and I think it was to him too...I three together some music and delivered a 4-track tape to him and he just winged it too...cut and sliced the music and put bits here and there...put it all together, announced it...pretty ambitious project and far as I know it was nationwide on ESPN. I remember the production company he called LM Productions. LM stood for "Last Minute" One time he ran out of film and asked me to pick some up and bring it to Mammoth, CA where they were recording. He was a friend of a friend, I barely knew him but he seemed like a real nice guy and it is sad he's no longer with us...
