I went on a Mexican Riviera cruise that left out of LA for a week w my ex hubby family. Soda was not included! I paid $5 for cans of Coke & this was a few years back! I won’t do it again. My kids were seasick, not much to entertain them & I was LAND SICK FOR A WEEK after we returned. I felt like I was still swaying. Love you girl! My daddy was from NC. (Winston-Salem) 🩵💙🩵

We cruise twice a year, it's our vacay of choice bc its so easy. If you like to play in the casino, as I do, there are a couple of Carnival ships that have a smoking and non-smoking casino. I'm glad you had a great time!
LOVE those cabins on the Lido don't you? I ALWAYS put clients in those Lido cabins! When you are ready to go again let me know, I've been a travel agent since 1982 and quotes are ALWAYS free!
Next time definitely try a bigger ship and I promise you'll like it a whole bunch more! Charleston and the Sunshine doesn't set the tone for Port Canaveral, it's a much nicer port and more organized. Mardi Gras/Vista/Freedom are great ships!
Sunshine is one of the smallest ships Carnival has. I would recommend you go on a bigger ship, get the drink package, and try a longer one with multiple ports. We absolutely did not like the Bahamas however after taking 6 cruises we have just about figured out what we love and hate with Carnival. We will be going again in about 9 days. We will be taking a 12 pack of sodas for our room because of that drink issue you ran into. Also next time try the sea day brunch. So much better than the regular breakfast.

We took 2 cases, they threw them away. I have no idea why. I liked the Sunshine😂 but I do want to try others.
