Everyone please keep praying for all the Helene victims in Western NC - East Tenn. - Southern VA - Georgia & Florida.
If anyone still wants to donate items, its getting colder end of this week. They need warm winter clothes, boots, blankets & anything they can use to stay warm.
When my daughter & family took stuff up on Saturday, she got so upset that she wound up with a very sick headache & fought nausea for 4 hrs coming home.
She is so tender hearted, that it just tore her up!
These people are going to need help for a long time.

Was so happy to find a legit go between!

Thank you for your prayers and continue to pray for us. I live in western nc and photos and videos dont come close to the destruction. It looks like a war zone here. I am blessed that my home was spared but many neighbors werent so lucky. Still no power but finally got cell service and all my family are safe. God is here with us though. I seen where hundreds in Rutherford County gave their lives over to the Lord and lined up to be baptized in the same waters that took so much from everyone in western NC. You can destroy our roads, you can destroy our lands, but you will never destroy our spirit. WNC Stong!

You are right about the used furniture prices. Man..I got lucky at a few local thrift stores but Goodwill has gotten crazy! I would say my decorating still is a little bit of everything 😂😂. I just do what makes me happy. I love the shower curtain you put in the girls bathroom it’s so sweet. Have a great week!

@@TammyBrinley I quit donating to them and started taking our stuff to a local store that helps with domestic violence, I know what that money is going towards there!
@@Imperfecthomemaking I haven’t donated to them for a couple of years, when I heard that their CEO made a ridiculous amount of money.
We have portable clothing donation boxes here and there here in Missouri , I give to them

Hi Grace, Homemade chicken and dumplings are my favorite. It's the only time i buy a whole chicken to make it. I am so happy y'all are in your new home. It looks so nice. Maybe make your kids some fried apple pies, peanut butter cookies, or something like that for snacks. Take your time on getting furniture and things for your home. Get things you love and not just to fill a space. It looks lovely now. Less things to clean. Sending love, hugs and continued prayers for God to bless you with an abundance of amazing blessings.

Girl my face is the same way LOL my son's is like that too. Almost to the point people are afraid to approach me. My father was the same way nobody ever messed with him he was a prison guard for 35 years. So I know what you're saying smile if you want to if you don't want to don't do it LOL people will always find something to bus about. So you do you girl! Thanks for the video it's hard for me to get used to your new house it's so beautiful.

When it comes to decorating I just grab what I like! Now standing back looking at my stuff I think I’m more of a bohemian style
I use buttermilk to make my dumplings and it makes a huge difference! They're really tender & fluffy, which we like. Yours look really delicious, makes me want to make some this week!

Everything is sooo expensive it took us seven months "last month" since living here to finally get a dinning room set. Thanks to market place❤

@@gracefullygrace it really is very crazy with the economy the way it is no one wants to sell anything cheap anymore. However there is some out there. Have you tried marketplace if you have Facebook?

Try making chips from flour tortillas. They hold up better.
I havent made dumplings from stretch since I was a child. This motivated me to try my hand at them soon.

It really saddens me to see the pictures on the news. All I can do is put it in God’s hands and pray and maybe donate a little money to Samaritan’s Purse to help a tiny bit.
