As an Anglo voter, we really have little to no party we can vote for. The PQ, QS, and CAQ are all separatist parties (the caq may not have it in their platform, but they are as separatist as the other two recognized parties). That leaves us with the liberals, who have historically hurt us as well.
Independance is for everybody. I know anglos who vote for the PQ and want independance. Becoming a country is not a question of splitting anglos from the francos. We just want to decide by ourselve for cultural reason (french is in decline) but also and mostly for economic reasons.
1995 referendum was 50/50. When you flag a political party over this simple question you disrespect all-around democracy and all the voters who make their due diligence over the seperation of Québec and you don't.

Lucien Bouchard, former PQ leader, has an Anglo wife, our greatest stand up actor Yvon Deschamps as well. So there is an historical strong voice for Anglos rights among souverainistes. But I noticed in the last ten years that the René Lévesque will for Anglo-Quebecois is fading away in the souverainiste movement,(but not in QS) In PQ, it is fifty-fifty I would say, and CAQ is not souverainiste but do more damages than any other political parties before it, to please some Francos. It s a very bad populist moves. They try to solve complex situations with simplistic solutions. ( because Legault is that dumm) Anyway, with QS or PQ, I would always fight for your communities to have your rights and instituons, and the same for First Nations. I believe that we can be stronger together in a Quebec , Country, with less fights, that living next to each other in Canada. But I understand if you and many Anglo-Quebecois doubt about it. QS and Nadeau-Dubois would say that they would encourage them to learn their native language first, then open gates to learn French for more interaction with Francophones. Anglo-natives are next to the US border( Mohawks) and Northern Quebec( Some Innu) where they don t have much interactions with Francophones. So I guess it will remain like that for generations while others First Nation will know French. Here an exception with Miqma nation where it seems to be be fifty-fyfty between French and English. ( close from New Brunswick)

Innus (Montagnais) Wobanakis (Abénaquis) Attikameks Wendat (Hurons) Wolastoqiyik (Malécites) Are all fluent and primary French speakers after their own native language. Innus alone make up 26 000 people out of 92 000 total First Nation people in Québec. They're not located close to Montréal which is probably why you undermine their geopolitical presence in Québec.

First off all i think it's great that the Gazette's CORNER BOOTH podcast seems to reach out to speak to serious party political leaders. And i'm happy to watch them. 🙂 Kudos for this one with QS and the previous with the PQ.
