I love to see such a passion for this show. When you are fan, you can't fall in love just for the car, you must love these characters too. It's indivisible. And Paul Michael and David are the only real actors to perform Starsky and Hutch.
I'm from the UK and in all my 59 years on this planet, I have only seen one S & H Torinoback in 2010 at a Classic car show. But it was minus the two guys who made it famous. Paul and David. Thanks guys for a great show.
This is so neat, having Paul at this event! Paul, David, and Antonio, likely never imagined years back that the TV show would still be popular with original fans as well as younger ones that had not even been born yet when it originally broadcast. I did not like the modern movie. To me, it mocked the original show rather than pay a positive tribute to it. The only scene I liked was at the end when Paul and David made an appearance. There's nothing like the original.

I used to love how Paul(Starsky) used to get out of the car to make the arrest and jump up on the guys shoulders to put him down on the hood heee, heee, Paul and David were so agile and that was a huge part of the success of the show, Starsky was always "okay lets get this done", without thinking about things first and Hutch was like the brains, he always held Starsky back and made him think things through before doing something, they were like little and big brothers. I must say, Paul always knew how to drive really good and this video captures that. I'll always be a fan of the original show. I remember when I was about 6 years old and seeing a commercial for the show, I saw that car in a chase scene and I was hooked. Because my parents wanted me in bed by 9pm and they thought the show was too mature for me, I used to have to sneak down stairs and turn the TV on low, just so I wouldn't miss an episode. I'm 49 now but please, shhhhhh, don't tell my mom.

Yes, he wanted to move on. It's ironic that a young, Edward James Olmos (Lt. Castillo of "Miami Vice") appeared in a Starsky and Hutch episode. Years later, Paul directed several episodes of Miami Vice. Two talented actors that played cops on shows that became hits.

The producer Joseph Naar's managers were negotiating a salary contract & Paul & David said if Joseph left the show, they would not be back. This was told on a Surcon 2013/2014 DVD by Joseph himself. So please don't say it was only because Paul wanted to leave. Also, some of the writing on the show was bad. Paul & David were the ones who made the show as popular as it is to this day. Their chemistry, love, friendship & caring is what made the show! They are still friends to this day. The 2004 movie I have not waisted my time watching as they are not & never will be Starsky &Hutch! I will not watch FOX'S reboot either. No other actor or actress can duplicate or replace the chemistry, love, friendship & caring that these awesome, amazing, fantastic, wonderful & handsome men have for each other.
Not a Ford person, Mopar or NO CAR but I would love to have one of these. I remember as a kid growing up in the 70's watching the show. My brother and I even got the Starsky and Hutch play set with the guns, holsters, and cuffs for Christmas one year.

did the car come from the factory with this paint job or was the white a custom job for the tv show and owners just copied it . I remember watching the show when I was kid. My grandmother loved the show and the stars .I think she had one of david soul's music albums on vinyl.

Okay...seriously...if I died a minute after he drove my car I would die a happy person. I remember reading that a few years ago there was a comicon thing in NJ...Newark or something and I was in NJ..and both Glaser and Soul drove with the winner of some drawing...I thought lucky I didnt know about it because I would have seriously just dropped dead seeing them.
