The moment I see this, I'm wandering how much the efforts to be perfection. The most part I believed very hard to practice is actually to confront these Sumandak face to face lol. Luckily I was a part of the SMK Arshad's dancer during my school periods 1988-92. Throwback were really matters. Cheers. #BangiResident#MantaadTadauDoKaamatan#JogoBanaKam
proud to be tindal people... since i was small i watch many versions of our dance. in a way, in my oppinion, it shows that tindal people is very creative and innovative to create the best version.
Raffael De La Vega Yes I would think so too. The two ethnics live side by side in Kota Belud and hence the influence from each other. The adaptation of traditional costumes between Bajau Samah and Dusun Tindal is prominent in the villages around Kg. Taun Gusi. Even their traditional gongs rhythm have similarity. As you may already realised, here in Kota Belud, the ethnics live in harmony where mixed marriage is very common. Prominently, the minority Chinese here speaks fluent Malayu Sabah and most also can speak the language of Bajau Samah and Dusun. That is the beauty of Kota Belud.
+Raffael De La Vega It is doesn't matter how it is looks like, as you know Dusun tindal's, samah and the chinese, also iranun were live harmony in Kota Belud, even there are many Dusun tindals, samah, chinese that live and Kota Belud can speak more that two language "almost" but not all of them. as you can see here, these 4 ethnics in kota Belud shared their own language together. that costumes might be a coincidences, have a similar costumes doesn't mean it is stolen.
+thunder bembo no one mention bout stolen from others here...... bur one thing for sure here there is history behind this ......... I'm samah with kadazan blood from my grandmother side.... is not an big issue here....
