    I love your tutorials. If I may hasten to add, I bought my 770 qe in March 19 but never utilised my free tutorial at the London ( uk) bernina centre, I have no skills re dressmaking sewing . I am a quilter and work with different textiles eg African wax prints, , aboriginal, ikat, Japanese yukata ( and of course Lori Holt) Anyway inspired I decided to attempt to make a quilt label. Hhhmmmm i do not know if you have ever watched Father Ted (an acclaimed Irish sit com) they try to fix a tiny dent in their car (series 2 episode 2) and end up ruining the car , well that was me today . No problem at first but then I was trying to fix tension , make font smaller , ended up pressing so many buttons I ended up with a disaster . 8 hrs later ..... it worked. managed to create a template for quilt labels. Now I am watching this tutorial and it makes sense .xxx thankyou x

    I bought my Bernina 790 in Kansas from my dealer in Kansas and she has been most helpful. However, since your series is available 27/7 it is very convenient to combine both sources. I really appreciate your efforts and look forward to your future topics. THANK YOU so much.

    I cannot express my gratitude enough for your tutorials. I have dreamed of owning a high end Bernina, but have watched my machine sit alone in the corner for two weeks now. I finally got up my nerve and found your videos. They are the perfect speed for using them over and over. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

    Thank you so very much for your excellent tutorials. I wish the Bernina Company would make every single dealer teach all of this to people who buy these machines. My dealer really did not have a class just for my machine, but combined six others in the same class and most of the time she just tried to sell extra accessories and feet for everyone's machines. Since I was never shown how to use the threader, I have already had to spend $35.00 for a new threader. Since you just showed all of us how to use it properly, I should not have to ever replace it. Thank you.

    Thank you!!! I finally was able to clean my cutter. You taught so much, so clearly. More than I’ve been taught since I bought this 1.5 years ago. It is clear, precise and on a video I can always refer back to forever. Subscribing.

    I just acquired a 730 machine and have been playing with the stitches. When I use the zigzag stitch and go to the widest width, the fabric puckers underneath the stitching. Do you have any suggestions as to how to stop that from happening. You are terrific...very easy to follow your directions. Thanks!

      These are “thirsty” machines. My dealer said after every project. Sometimes I oil more frequently based on how it sounds. Sometimes every day if I am sewing a lot.

    I was told I don't need to oil the machine in the top area you showed. Just the two little holes in the bobbin case. Is that true?

    I liked all the clear instructions you gave about oiling my machine, but you did t tell me how often I need to oil it. Also, is there a pop up screen that reminds me to do it? Thank you for all the help you give us on this.

      Lizzi Condon . The machine will give you an oil can picture but I do oil my machine more often if I am quilting.

    Hi Robyn, I am trying to do some twin needle work on my. Bernina 770 and cant understand the threading instructions. They say one thread goes to the right of the tension disc and the other to the left, but I can’t seem to fathom it! You probably have
    done a video on this, but I can’t find that either. Oh dear and I have just returned from holiday, where is my brain I ask?! Hope you can help. Nicola in UK

    • @berninarobyn
      @berninarobyn  7 лет назад +1

      When I am threading up for twin needle work I thread one thread on the right hand side of the tension disc that is at the top of your machine where you pull your thread threw. Thread the right needle then I thread the other thread in the left hand side off the tension disc and in the left needle.Make sure your pressure foot is up so the tension disc is open.I will make a note to do a video on twin needle work.

    Bernina doesn’t recommend oiling the red circle any more, just oiling the hook top.

  • @beckyezra1

    Thank you for the video, small question, didnt you put too much oil??

    • @berninarobyn
      @berninarobyn  7 лет назад +3

      You do have to be careful as sometimes the oil comes out too quickly.It doesn't seem to hurt and I think I stitch so much it soon gets used up.

    • @AnnieofBlueGables
      @AnnieofBlueGables 7 лет назад

      Becky Ezra I was somehow under the impression that only one drop goes in the top, but was told by my dealer you have to do several drops in the top, to fill it up. Mine was parched when she looked at it. Only one drop each in the bobbin holes, but fill ‘er up on the top.
