People who are saying Gail is a cow probably aren't any more mature than Sarah :D It's the first time Gail's seen her child - who is still a child - through the process of having a child. She's flying in the dark too, and it's difficult for her as well. She's panicking a bit and trying to keep her own emotions in check and do the right thing, and sometimes snaps, just like Sarah. They are mother and daughter after all - they're bound to have some personality traits in common.
I don't think a Girl under 18 can just give her Baby away with out the Parents involvement as they are not old enough to fully understand what's involved I think Gail's idear was great she would look after the baby while Sarah is at School & Sarah can watch her Mum & learn as she's goes,That way the baby is safe & cared for & Sarah can still be a Teenager,As Gail is Sarah's Mum she has rights to 😀

Nope she’s emancipated because they’re pregnant so no they don’t need their parents permission they just need to get father’s signature…teen mum here who knew her options
Actually Sara is legally allowed to have all stays over body even at her age.. as soon as a girl pets pregnant she becomes medically emancipated (now ngl this might be different where ppl live lol but it’s definitely a thing) it allows everyone even young girls the right to chose what to ye do with their body/baby during a pregnancy:)
Just get rid of the baby already! Sarah didn’t want it and if they found out Sarah was pregnant earlier then they would have forced her to have an abortion. So Gail was being a hypocrite by forcing Sarah to keep her baby as she would have wanted it dead if they had time to terminate the pregnancy!
