OMG. You took me back 50 years back when I use to travel from Kurla to Matunga for Maths classes given by an Octogenarian Mr. Rao. A real genius of a teacher. I used to pass by Ruia, Podar and Matunga Gymkhana regularly. Thanks for the memories as I’m far away in Canada now.
I studied at Podar College from1981 to 1986.DP was not big as today and there was Mani's lunch home but both used to feed College students of Ruia and Podar.DP's pavbhaji was best and Mani's south indian food was awesome .Thanks for reminding those wonderful College days. .
I'm from Maharashtra kolhapur and now I am living in pune. You have to visit Kolhapur one day. It's Maharashtra's one of the cultural city. Food is awesome and wadapav taste also different from Mumbai, pune. Also it is famous for Tambda pandhara rassa. You must have to taste. Love to watch all your video's 👍❤️
Went to Poddar college in 1995, still remember idli vada in DPs then use to cost Rs 12 and it was cheaper in Mannis which use to be a very small South Indian joint... This mama sandwich wala was not there in the 90s! And where Wellingker College is today it use to be the private bunglow of our Principal saheb, Farooq Engineer! Haven't visited the places in ages but it has definitely changed a lot! One place you missed was Rama Nayak next to Matunga station not sure if it still exist... It was pure veg and thali use to cost ₹14 then!

Not at all true image of Matunga ..... Area is famous for filter coffee and south Indian delicacies. DPs Pav bhaji is not at all Mumbai Pav bhaji ... It doesn't even have proper taste , Pav is not toasted just rolled over cheap butter. Sherry use old stale buns and these Manchurian/garlic stuffing is also a day old. Next to circle wine shop there is udapi restaurant which serves 10-15 variety of idlis .... That is the place where students go to try new things . Video didn't even cover Madras Cafe ..from where breakfast goes to Mukesh Ambani almost every Sunday...... It's a gully mein video 😂😂😂😂
Nobody goes from Ruia to Madras cafe. I have lived in Matunga all my life and went to Ruia. It's too far to go to Madras cafe on a break. DPs Mani's Sherry's Snowpoint are closer and full of college students.
Content could have been much better and you guys missed alot of popular spots. Also, whatever places you covered, you din't try the things for which those places are actually known for.
