  • Doctorate degree and PhD degree students, postdoctoral fellows, faculty, researchers and professors at universities and research institutes must respond to reviewer's comments on journal research papers after receiving a major or minor revision decision from the journal editor. The nuances of considering the comments of the journal paper referees and editors is given. The importance and approach or writing a good rebuttal or response to the reviewer's comment is provided. Many papers get accepted if the issues raised by the referees are addressed properly.

Sir, I have submitted my first technical paper draft to my guide around more than 2 and half months before to get his correction. Mean while I'm writing one more paper and is about at the stage of completion. I'm little hesitant to ask about the status of first technical paper's correction to my guide ,as I think that he would ask about the status of second paper if I ask about my first paper's correction status .Would it be good enough if I go and ask about my first paper's status (as it is more than 2.5 months) or should I complete second paper and ask him about the status of first paper's correction?
It would be of great help if you provide suggestions.
    Thank you

I think you should ask your advisor as to what he thought of the paper. An open communication with PhD advisor is needed for the PhD.
