I do NOT know how you constantly explain issues where people pick apart every single thing you do (vlog), every single day, with such patience, poise and dignity without giving up like you were forced to do in finding caregiving for Jess. I look forward to ALL the different kind of videos you make with the "Whats the deal" videos being one of my favorite. Please don't change anything you do for people who literally LOOK for things to complain about.
You don’t need to justify yourself and your family…. Share what you want to share… you have a right to have privacy without justification. Your family is amazing and very inspirational to us families that have young ones diagnosed with Autism… you show how amazing a life can be with autism and also let us know we are not alone in our struggles. You and Hannah ( as well as Marlow and Campbell) just amaze me everyday with your care and positivity ! I’m new to the channel, but I offer my support to you all, if you need any! I’d be glad to listen or encourage when needed! Much Love ❤️ Angel
Val , Your love is SO CONTAGIOUS ❤🥰 Jessica is SURROUNDED BY ALL OF THE LOVE YOU have for her !! I appreciate that you took time to explain this, ......❤
As an autism mama I just wanted to say that I really love watching you all and I know just how much work you must put in to your family. Thank you for braving the public eye and showing the world that our lives are both wonderful and hard work xxx
Getting to know the entire family....including Marlow makes this channel more personal. It takes courage to invite the world into your lives like your family has. Please continue with the food videos...the videos that exclude Jessica...ALL of your videos have wonderful stories to tell and it's about making memories!! Keep making the memories...live life to it's fullest!! Love u guys!!
You are so well spoken Val. I appreciate your honesty and transparency. I believe you are putting Jessica in the best light, while providing content to people who have disabilities or sharing daily life events with those that have no clue. I have an autistic six year old. I understand the anxiety, triggers and sacrifices: I love how you have a positive spin on things even when we have heavy issues. Keep up the good work, I look forward to your videos about developments delays and victories even the small ones. Xo
I love Jessica so much, but it would be very sad to not see the rest of the family as well. That is what this channel grew on. It's about all of your experiences and it also is a great connection for others. I love seeing what everyone is up to 💕
@@krystalharwood6359 yes but bratty was talking about the rest of the family like the family gathering that they are not going to because miss beautiful Jess will obsess over a particular family member.
Val my question is for Han I ALWAYS WATCH you and some days a few times if I need the smile. I was wondering if its Hard for Han to miss the family gathering and would you allow her to go if she wanted to.Could you all just keep it a secret from Jess to avoid the pain and stress and anxiety.but to still allow Miss BEAUTIFUL HAN a chance to be with the rest of family .And one more thing how is this one any different then the Christmas party ?Oh probably diff family members huh.I love all you but I worry about Han so very much.I am only 48 but feel as though she is my daughter or best friend or sister I don't have.Hope my questions didn't upset
I’d love to know about Hannah’s mysterious illness but I am also aware of the need for privacy so if and when you feel comfortable with explaining that I’m very interested. I love your family dynamics and love to see Jessica thrive with your loving family!
This channel is a great example of how technology can be used for the common good. As you mentioned how you thought your family was the only one with Jessica unique situation; there must be many now finding themselves on a similar path. Through this platform your family being willing to be open and transparent, will forever educate, encourage and support others. Do what you’re doing as much and as long as you can for all the Jessica’s. 💗🙏
I'm so glad you made this video. I'm so glad that you are addressing this and feel this way about your channel. It's nice to see that this is about your family and not just about one person and what goes on with them. I appreciate that and I appreciate you doing this video. You guys are doing a great job. This is a great channel. I enjoy seeing what you do show of your family.
This! This is the reason I followed and call you a friend. To lean into the reality that life is not as you planned, to find joy in the everyday, the courage to share your lives so candidly, the grace under pressure, and the strength to still keep boundaries. Much love. 💜
Came for Jess and am staying for you all. I found you through another IG account (Gab!). Your videos are informative, but also uplifting, funny, and sweet! Love you all! Yep yep yep!
Good Q & A. Miss Val.... When I first saw your channel I was of the mindset that it WAS all about Jessica (she's just so amazing) but realize now that that your whole family is a unit/unity. Thank you ⚘️😊
I agree with Augustina, your video was so beautifully explained.Jess is very fortunate she has such a loving and committed family, that is why she is thriving! Thank you for sharing your journey with us.❤
I’ve been watching your family dynamic for a short time now and I really notice so many different progressions in Jessica’s developmental challenges . Like you said you have always worked on different things, but I see so many progressions, and it’s so nice to see. Although I’ve only been watching a short while I want you to know I enjoy your whole family and you are always in my prayers.
I've been watching your videos for awhile now, you never disappoint. I'm sure your helping countless people all over the world. Have a great day, Val. Love you all!!!
I’m so glad that you can address all the questions that a lot of followers think they can ask ! When you have thousands of people obsessed with Jess and your family, I’m sure there are always a few that want to know everything they can about your PRIVATE lives. It’s just incredible that there are those people…. but you are great at trying to tell them how you feel and that you are a family, and that you all have a life like we ALL do. Love you all and love listening to your QandA 💕💕💕💕💕💕
This was such a good Q&A. I'm so grateful that you open up your family and your life to us. Like you said there are many of us out there with some many similar life issue and it's always good to feel like you're not alone. We love you guys. 🥰❤
I so enjoy your explanations and responses not only in your family video's but in these Q and A's. Thank you and all of rest of your family and friends for everything you do, and teach us...and for sharing your joy!!!!
Hello Val and family, I've been following for a bit now. While my son doesn't have autism per se, he does have a hidden disability. I understand the teach, reteach and maybe reteach many times before a skill is considered mastered. I want to tell you that I believe you to be a wonderful example of life and how family blood or not comes through for one another. You are incredibly brave to share your truth with all of us. I'm sorry that there are unkind people in the world. Thank you and I look forward to your blog/vlogs every day. Have a blessed day.
Enjoyed the Q&A. Very informative. All working as a family unit. Just started watching your channel last couple months. Thank you for sharing. So much info to learn.🙂
My adult daughter is a couple years older than Jessica and also has autism along with developmental disabilities. We both love watching your videos and seeing your family interactions. It is both educational and supportive and you all do an amazing job explaining and capturing these life moments. You remind us we aren't alone on this wonderful, yet challenging, journey. So thank you for sharing your family with us! 💕 BTW I just bought my daughter one of your Be a Good One t-shirts for her birthday and she was sooo excited!
Hi Val, thank you for an informative Q&A, I have a nephew who is blind with severe autism and diabetes insipidus. I find your videos’s extremely helpful, and I appreciate your families commitment to raising awareness. ❤
I admire you and Campbell so much. Would love to see a Q&A with the both of you. The way you co-parent is so inspirational. Not trying to ask for “tea” … as you mentioned. And I agree. Some things are just none-ya!! But you guys have found a way and its so wonderful. …Or maybe it isn’t all the time. Haha. I’m just saying, I think ALL of your children but especially Jess benefits from it. Much love from a loyal follower.
Val, this specific bideo(🥰) was so good. I am an Aunt of a special needs nephew who is a young adult. It seems our country lacks in making available programs for those who age out of the school system. I know so many families who don’t seem to have any options once their child has graduated from HS and that makes me sad. It truly takes a village. Thank you for putting your family out there in order for others to see that they are not alone.
Great video and explanation. I wondered what Bad Daddy's actual name was. Lol I can't wait to hear Hannah's story. I hope she is alright now. She is a great Sister and person in general. We are not celebrating the 4th this year either. It's been a strange and stressful year for us and we just want to lay low and keep to ourselves today. Enjoy the day in whatever fashion you feel like. Relax and just be you. 💗
I love watching the whole family and how everyone interacts with Jess. Great learning experience for all of us. Your right, you all are a unit, and function as said unit. A lot of very useful information. Just my opinion. You are a great family. Thanks for sharing your real life with all of us.
I think this whole channel works because it's about you all, you all make it what it is, as much as I love watching Jess it's all of your input and care for Jess that makes it such a successful channel and interesting to watch, your brilliant Val! your the glue that brings all the autisum educational puzzle pieces for a loving successful loving care giving family together ❤️ ♥️ love you all xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Thank you, Ms. Val, for your clarity on what the purpose of Autistic Interpretations is all about. I thank you for all you share and cannot imagine all it takes for your family, and close extended family, to assist with Ms. Jess’ daily needs and routine. I’ve learned so much following you all and look forward to viewing many, many more videos of you, Ms. Jess and your entire family and extended family. Thank you, for sharing this information.🙏🏻☺️
Love this video! We are not all here for JUST Jess, even though we love her. It is fun to watch the whole family! You guys are great.. you help me through my work days! 🍻✌🏼💙
I don't how I started watching your videos, I've been watching a lot of them for the last two weeks and let me tell you it melts my heart every time I see Jessica's eyes, she is so sweet! I really like her curiosity, making questions all the time about her interests. I didn't know hannah was ill, I hope she's doing better ❤️❤️❤️ sorry for my english, hugs from Chile.
Thank you Val. Very good video explaining everything. I love your family and all that you do for each other; that is what family is. I'm glad you are feeling better. I'm still in the acute rehab hospital; can't put any weight on my leg yet. I just want to go home. Your videos are keeping my spirits up!! Thank you!
I appreciate you sharing your life... I am definitely getting a glimpse into our future and I too, will most likely have to stop working when my girl ages out of school. Sending love and light to your family!
Val and to all your family - much love goes out to you all. I can empathize with the daily ups and downs. You said it best. It is a family unit. Having lived around people that required full time support. It is a team effort. Im glad that you and your family have the ability to all share the support needed fof Jess. Jess is a beautifiul woman and is very lucky to have all of you. Much love to you and your family.
Such an eye-opening video! Thank you Ms Val! I love your family and how you explain what you choose to share! I am sending you lots of love from Athens! 🇬🇷
Love seeing all your family. I have a 4 year old son who asd, spd and adhd. You do what is right for your entire family. Your a amazing lady and love watching you all.
I didn’t know that about Hannah, bless her heart. Val, I admire you and all you go thru. I have health issues too so I can relate. Thank you for your Q&A, I learn something new each time. Love all of y’all!
I love this video & explanation. If it takes a village to raise any child, then it takes no less to raise a child with special needs. I can't begin to recount the amount of people we have needed and were part of our team to help us with our son and his physical and mental health and that we still need as he enters his teen years. I'm constantly examining what our future might entail based on what we're going through now and who is going to need to be involved. And I have 3 other children as well with their own needs and desires. It takes a great deal of effort to see that EVERYONE is being cared for and looked after. The amount of energy it takes especially mentally and emotionally, is completely draining and then I remember that I haven't checked in with myself for awhile, nor have I sought out or asked for help. Your story and experiences have helped me to look at things more positively, remember that we're not alone, and that it takes a team that is looking out for our loved one but also each other. We're all striving for balance that helps us keep life as peaceful as possible. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much for sharing your lives with us. So glad Hannah made it through the toughest part and is doing well. We do not need to know every detail of your lives. Re: You and Bad Daddy, I am so glad you are on good terms and that is important. Many couples who get divorced do not remain on good terms.
I look forward to your video on developmental disabilities. I hope it will help people to understand better. One youtube family I follow has a totally nonverbal teenager with autism and intellectual disability but I've seen them get several comments over the years saying things like "I know tons of kids with autism but I've never seen one who has never spoken a word - she's clearly been so neglected!" and such. I once even saw a comment like that from someone who said she works with kids with autism. It's so sad to me that sometimes even people who work with individuals with disabilities seem to think that delayed development is somehow proof of neglect. I think it's a very positive thing to have hope that people with disabilities will be capable of learning something new or gaining new skills eventually...but assuming that if they have a limitation that is a lack of effort is deeply unfair to people with special needs and their families or those who try to work with them. It's very possible that someone with a disability has put in tons of effort into trying something despite not mastering it yet. You never know unless you're really involved.
Hi Val you’re doing an excellent job and you’re doing the best you can with Jess and I love watching you guys every day life stream video and Q&A, and yes definitely stay strong and safe so you guys take care.❤️❤️❤️
You share so much Val and are generous with your family. Love learning how you all keep going and that you are a 'normal' family with so many pieces to juggle. Thank you so much, it can't be easy. Hugs to you all and God Bless💕🙏💕
Thank you Val I really appreciate you 💜 I understand exactly what you're saying about how difficult it is to advocate for your child while you're learning about their difficulties and trying to navigate a world not intended for any kinds of differences 🫂 I also felt alone through the entirety of my child's school experience. 💜💙
Great video as usual your Q&A's are always very informative and on point..I love everything bout all the videos especially involving the family dynamics which still involve Jessica ...Thanks again ❤
Thank you for making this video. I don’t watch every video but I do enjoy all the different types of videos and topics you cover. I also enjoy all the different people in your videos….especially the Jess/Marlowe car rides and the videos where you guys try different places to eat.
I’m apart of the invisible illness club. Whoop whoop! I have POTS,EDS, and MCAS. I would love to hear more about your guys conditions and how it effects you and your family. ❤️❤️❤️
Well said and explained Val, thank you, because I understand that it’s your choice what you choose to share. I would love so much to get to know Hannah! I feel like I relate to her a lot but in different ways. I deal with ptsd and major anxiety on top of having a 28 old daughter who is on the spectrum. I also know a little sign language and would love to be more fluent. While my daughter doesn’t have many different disabilities there are many things I learn from your channel and also relate to. Sure like anyone else I have lots of questions, but it’s not my business to know everything. People really need to be more kind and understanding, we feel as viewers of your channel that we know you, we are invested in your life and family..but from your side we are strangers so people need to just have kindness in their heart. Thanks for letting us into your lives, I truly hope one day to meet you and the family especially Jessica 💜
Val love how you explain so well and eloquently. It is so interesting. I guess people think they can ask such personal questions is on our side we feel like we actually know you all! We forget you dont know most of us from Adam! Just a thought. I cannot believe some of the things people say and ask though!! Didnt mean to go on there. I just want you to know I can be having the crappiest day, then watch Jess and she always makes me smile, laugh, or melt my heart in some way! Keep on doing what you do, you are all great!
I total feel 4 u & Hannah I have Hashimoto’s & still work fulltime. It hard 4 others 2 understand what your body does from the inside out. I am praying 4 all of u.
So glad you put this out. I noticed the comments have seemed full of "experts" here lately when their one experience with someone with a disability all of a sudden makes them a Jess expert after watching a 2 minute clip of errands.🤦♀️ I've been following you for years, actually started as a blog reader in the car line waiting on my oldest to get out of school. Your blog has soooo much information. I definitely recommend it to those wanting to know Jess's history.
Excellent Q&A. I'm curious if you have ever adjusted her anti- anxiety meds. I take one everyday. It was a game changer. I love seeing all the family and the dogs.
Love your q & a’s. I’d like to meet a female who doesn’t have an autoimmune disorder these days. It would be a rarity to meet them. The question is why is it so common?
Happy Independence Day to you All! Valerie it is Great News to hear you are feeling Well, while I hope Hannah/Campbell and Jessica is as Well.... Valerie your Statement about the situation with you and Campbell- You saying we will not talk about it, ever!! You put it Very Politely, so if anyone can not take a Hint to never ask it again - They are --- ASININE!! Have a wonderful week ❤️☺️
Val❤️ You and yr family are truly an inspiration… I don’t know how you summon the patience to answer questions asked in this manner… If it were me I wld ignore it😄 as my patience is all spent on my kids 🤣.. Majority of ppl who use RUclips should know by now that if you come across a new creator and want to know more then you just have to go back to the start of their first videos, Just like you wld with a new tv show - now there’s a concept😆… or read their about me.. if ppl are too lazy to do their own research then they can hit the back button while you delete their comment 😉.. Yr way too kind! I have watched you all for years now and am frustrated for you by some of the questions… Just know you have done and provided ppl with everything they need to know … But I know you have a kinder heart than me😄 so hopefully if anything you enjoyed my rant 🙋🏻♀️❤️❤️🤪 Yr educating many and an inspiration .. world needs to see more families like you ❤️.. Thanks for sharing yr lives with us🙋🏻♀️
I wonder if possibly People ask this question because the name of the page is Autistic Interpretations, so they just expect it to be only about Jess. I never really thought about it until you brought up this subject on the Q & A. I just watch whatever y’all post 😂 it’s all good to me 👍🏻
Yes, the misunderstanding is probably often connected to the name. I’m not very creative with names and that was the third one I had tried out. 😄 It was my dad’s idea while Jess was going through a phase of painting about her feelings.
Your family is so lucky that everyone can stay home and deal with all of their issues. Most families don't have it like that. You guys have a great support system.
Val, thank you for sharing. I feel like you share a lot of your lives. I agree, not everything in our lives is everyone's business. I have asked questions & I hope that I haven't of you. Please let me know if I have. I have asked if Jess would enjoy painting an object such as a wooden heart, star or birdhouse?
Dear Val, Glad Your Taking Care Sending Prayers and Love. You have a right to privacy and for that to be respected. I do have one question because it is about your whole family .Would ever consider having a Sub Title that would include you all. Peace and Friendship Chris
In order for Jess to tell her story, each character in the story needs to be seen. Thank you for helping Jess relate to all of us her life journey. 💕

Love this video! We are not all here for JUST Jess, even though we love her. It is fun to watch the whole family! You guys are great.. you help me through my work days! 🍻✌🏼💙
Thank you so much!!
Awesome family. No one knows what all, all of you go thru. This helped and wish you all the happier you can get. Hi Hannah!🌹
TOTALLY GET IT, VAL! You go girl! Love you all❤️
Congratulations 🍾 on the sale of your home, it moved really quick!
Thank you!
Hi Kristie. I hope you feel better and get to go home soon!
I'm so sorry you're going through that. Being away from home is so hard.
♥
I love the way you all work together. Team work makes the dream work. Take care of each other. 💕
Great video, people have some nerve, you are all her family, I hope you all will be healed and can stay strong for each other.
Family is everything. Ty for sharing all you do.
You continue to amaze us, with your insight, communication & passion for this family life! Kudos!
Thank you!
💕
Love you guys!!! Hope your summer is going well!! I know Jess enjoys the pool!! ❤️💥🎉💥❤️
❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for the encouragement to make that video. I think it is a very misunderstood diagnosis.
I love Jess but I also love the entire family
Hi Val you’re doing an excellent job and you’re doing the best you can with Jess and I love watching you guys every day life stream video and Q&A, and yes definitely stay strong and safe so you guys take care.❤️❤️❤️
You share so much Val and are generous with your family. Love learning how you all keep going and that you are a 'normal' family with so many pieces to juggle. Thank you so much, it can't be easy. Hugs to you all and God Bless💕🙏💕
❤️
Thank you Val I really appreciate you 💜 I understand exactly what you're saying about how difficult it is to advocate for your child while you're learning about their difficulties and trying to navigate a world not intended for any kinds of differences 🫂 I also felt alone through the entirety of my child's school experience. 💜💙
Bravo Val!!!
I love the dynamic of your whole family. Add on Marlow, MamaJoe, grandparents and Augustina and it’s perfect.
Great video as usual your Q&A's are always very informative and on point..I love everything bout all the videos especially involving the family dynamics which still involve Jessica ...Thanks again ❤
I love you all. Keep doing what you’re doing. ♥️
Thank you for making this video. I don’t watch every video but I do enjoy all the different types of videos and topics you cover. I also enjoy all the different people in your videos….especially the Jess/Marlowe car rides and the videos where you guys try different places to eat.
I think you are all important, and you are the best you all can be for Jessica.
Thank you for always taking the time to explain things to us with such thoughtfulness ❤️
I have always been interested in all of your family Val xx
So glad you put this out. I noticed the comments have seemed full of "experts" here lately when their one experience with someone with a disability all of a sudden makes them a Jess expert after watching a 2 minute clip of errands.🤦♀️
I've been following you for years, actually started as a blog reader in the car line waiting on my oldest to get out of school.
Your blog has soooo much information. I definitely recommend it to those wanting to know Jess's history.
I love your whole family, Marlow too! 💕
I think it's great that the videos are about a whole.
I really enjoy your Q&A videos Val 😊😊
"All for one and one for all"...Val, Jessica, Hannah, Madison, Campbell, Nonnie and Granddad and everyone else in the family...
Excellent Q&A. I'm curious if you have ever adjusted her anti- anxiety meds. I take one everyday. It was a game changer. I love seeing all the family and the dogs.
We adjusted it for years, starting with the lowest dose then titrating up until we found what made a noticeable difference.
@@Shaping_Serenity thank you for answering.
Hugs hugs hugs 💜💜
Very interesting as usual
Love your q & a’s. I’d like to meet a female who doesn’t have an autoimmune disorder these days. It would be a rarity to meet them. The question is why is it so common?
Lovely! 💕
God Bless you and your family ♥
Happy Independence Day to you All!
Valerie it is Great News to hear you are feeling Well, while I hope Hannah/Campbell and Jessica is as Well.... Valerie your Statement about the situation with you and Campbell- You saying we will not talk about it, ever!! You put it Very Politely, so if anyone can not take a Hint to never ask it again - They are --- ASININE!!
Have a wonderful week ❤️☺️
☺️
You're an awesome mom!
I think Jess is totally awesome!
If it’s private to say who started you in the start? As most people are doing it now and yours is one of the first ❤
Dear Val,
Glad Your Taking Care
Sending Prayers and Love.
You have a right to privacy and for that to be respected. I do have one question because it is about your whole family .Would ever consider having a Sub Title that would include you all.
Peace and Friendship
Chris
We do have a subtitle that may not be prominent enough. It is “Sharing A Joyful Life”. Thanks for the question.
