    Hey Nurse Chung! Inthe problem about the sanitizing liquid, how did you determine that the equation doesn’t have anything to do with the “over 5 examinations rooms part”? I don’t understand for some reason.
    Actually I think I answered my own question with a typo that I made..
    Is it because the 5 rooms has nothing to do with the days?

    • @NurseCheung
      @NurseCheung  3 месяца назад +1

      Hey there! You've pretty much got it with your own observation. The "over 5 examination rooms" part doesn't factor into the equation for the sanitizing liquid because it's a detail that doesn't change the amount used per day. It's just specifying the number of rooms involved. Sounds like you're on the right track in understanding how to dissect these kinds of problems! Keep up the great thinking! 👍

    I am taking the ATI Teas at home on May 4th, do you know if I can have scratch paper with a pen/pencil? I can't find that information anywhere!

    • @NurseCheung
      @NurseCheung  3 месяца назад +2

      For the ATI TEAS taken at home, typically you are not allowed to use physical scratch paper due to the online proctoring environment. Instead, many testing platforms provide a digital whiteboard or scratch pad feature within the testing software for you to use during the exam. However, it's important to check directly with the specific instructions provided by ATI or the institution administering your test to confirm what's allowed and any tools they provide. Good luck on your test on May 4th! 🍀✍️

    Does your math videos help with the HESI A2?

    • @NurseCheung
      @NurseCheung  Месяц назад

      While the focus is on the TEAS, many of the math concepts covered are fundamental and overlap with what you'll find on the HESI A2 exam, such as basic arithmetic, algebra, and data interpretation. I would recommend following up with the outline for HESI before you use resources on the TEAS to make sure they match with what you need.

    How would I know when the word problem says something like "The product of 8 and the sum of a number" will be with parentheses? Because I would mistaken as to thinking it would be 8x.

    • @NurseCheung
      @NurseCheung  3 месяца назад +2

      Great question. When the phrase says "The product of 8 and the sum of a number," it indeed indicates that you should multiply 8 by whatever is inside the parentheses, which is the sum mentioned. So, if the sum involves adding x and 3, the correct mathematical expression would be 8(x+3). This means you multiply 8 by x + 3 giving you 8x + 24. I hope this helps answer your question.
