Does it have any heating issues under normal usage? I'm thinking of buying one. Also, how is the battery. How much screen on time are you getting?
@@abhijithu6766 @abhijithu6766 I bought the global version, sometimes it gets little bit heat when using hardcore, Like video gaming, video recording, but it's normal. The battery is fine, I'm getting 5-7 hours SOT (depending on usage) one day I get 4 hours of SOT from 50% battery usage.

Using Pixel 7 about 5 months. Everything is cool except the battery life. Even in a short trip I need my powerbank. I hope they fix that in next models.
battery life is good for a phone like this and its price so + using phones for hours is not a good deal for health ...

Is Pixel 7 worth getting for someone who needs a new phone (currently using Pixel 3. over 4 years old) and like a good camera system with quality images but doesn't need highest quality images or videos for social media or vlogging? In Australia, found one at AUD$499 (USD$323). Seems like a good price. Normally AUD$999 for 7 and 7 Pro is AUD$1299 from main stores. I like the size of the pixel 7 but wondering if the more expensive Pixel 7 Pro is worth it to have the extra telephoto lens?

I own pixel 7 pro, But from last 1.5 months phone is switching off alot of times whenever i play game's or scroll over the display.
Few days back I've sent my phone in there service centre for a replacement because it's under warranty but they rejected the replacement by saying that there's no hardware issue in my phone,and said that we've installed a new software in it.
And the moment i received back my phone,i was cleaning the display of my phone,again it got switched off.Better to opt for a different brand from now.
There services sucks.
They don't even care about their customers.

@@abhijithu6766 yeah it is heating up a little but not that much, I've heard that it's tensor G2 chip is generally tend to heat up a little during multitasking

ive used the pixel for about 3 months (i got my pixel 7 two days before this video got uploaded lol) and honestly it is an amazing experience and the only problems are the battery life, overheating and corners. ive dropped the phone about 5 times throughout my experience and there has been small scratches on the screen but they are super undetectable but the corner everytime has bashed. (from all my 3 drops, the same corner suffered and got 3 really tiny dents :[ they should make the protection better) and recently idk why but the phone has started overheating after playing only 2 matches of codm. i am playing on the lowest graphics and it couldn't bare it. it has only been happening recently so im not sure if this is because of the latest update. the battery life is ok but i remember after only 2wks of using the phone it went from 50% saying it can last for abt 3 days to now 50% saying it can last 20 hours. Now after only a week, 80% could last 1 day which is still good according to me because i charge enough but otherwise its not good. and because of the overheating, i was playing on 70% and it said 8hrs. now it will change obv after not using it for a while but i was soo dissapointed how the phone was giving up soo quickly.
Should I not get this phone due to overheating?
@@judahsfinest1860 Just do it, i have my Pixel 7 for about a year now, and i`m very gentle with smartphones (Except my Cat for work....it can handle everything).
I have a book case from dux ducis for protection and these are great cases.
Since i bought my Pixel 7, i have no issiues what so ever. But, i don`t play hard games and stuff. I use it for calling, and getting called for. Some software editing etc. If you handle the phone correctly and gentle, they go for years. 👍👍👍
@@judahsfinest1860 its a pretty good phone and yes it has overheating and it gets bad only above 35-36 degrees which is not likely going to happen unless you're not giving performance rest after it hits that temperature so, you can give it a shot, i havent had any lag on this phone yet and it has been 6 months with it

It's the bump that almost ruined the 7 for me. I bought a case and cut of the ridges and it's now excellent in the hand
I like the bar (more than the camera bump only being on one side at least) so it sits flat on a table

@@artsykilla you can either install Google files and clear cache this way or go to individual apps and clear it this way . Be careful not to click clear data

I used to love pixels , but theyre lagging behind the competition now . Annoying glitches ( i guess most phones experience some glitches) terrible batteries, mediocre displays and hardware. I rarely use my camera ( people seem obsessed with the camera 🤔) if i do take photos i use a dedicated camera. Lots of novel and clever features though

I’ll agree the display is pretty bad. Off axis colour shifting and the text and any UI edges aren’t sharp enough for my liking.
@@LatencyProblem I don't smoke or drink anything. I've got a good eye when it comes to displays . I've never been satisfied with pixel displays and I've owned many pixels ( still do). Of course this is all subjective, we all see colours, tones and light differently. I even did my own little research project and reviewed different phone displays and in MY personal review I concluded that pixel displays hit the middle ground! Other phone manufacturers scored higher . So I rank pixel displays as being mediocre. As I mentioned earlier this is all subjective! Obviously, they're not the worst displays out there . I hope Google has upped their game with the pixel 8 display quality!

What I don’t like bout pixel 7 are
1. Screen- screen flickering. It triggers my migraine
2. Battery- it heats when using mobile data
3. Fingerprint scanner- hit and miss and most of the time it missed
4. Pixel os .. it’s boring
