    I'm actually doing a c-tech on health and social care and on my first practice test I got a merit, and it made me cry, since everyone in my class got distinction, but I hope in the actual test I get a distinction

    Health and social care is too easy. its not a hard subject,but it is very hard due to how demotivatingthis subject actually is. I was forced to do BTECS due to missing education.. You can easily complete a course work unit in around 20hrs with 30 hrs of revision

      Honestly I agree. The content isn’t hard but it’s also very boring and not interesting.

      @@saskiahdlt whT GRADE did you get on unit 4 D? its hard when your at a horrid school tbh .
      its the motivation side of it tbh

      @@billjackson9828 Unit4 the like Current Research one? I got a Distinction in that but found it easy because I did Psychology as well

    80-100 pages long?? girl i don’t even get past 10 half the time HOWW do you write so much I get thru it and don’t know what else to write luckily i still get a distinction out of that but geeeeez 😭😭😭
    Edit: I start my level 3, year 2 in September too so wish me luck 😭

      hiya so i used the revision guide and it was really helpful for me! breaks everything down nice and small for me to understand!

    i was 3 marks away from distinction in unit 1 it really hurts the grade was higher this year 61 😔

    If anyone has any questions about year 12 health and social care just ask me. I got a distinction for my first year so I can try and help but I can’t give answers (as you could be done for plagiarism)

      Hi, unit 4 (the scicency one) is really tripping me up I have always struggled with science so I’m stressing about it because it’s sooo hard😭😭 how was you able to remember everything x

      How’d you get a distinction in the Unit 7 assignment for duty of care? I’m finding that one difficult as I seen a Distinction example my teacher sent me which is around 50 pages!

      whichever your teacher picks but i found dementia easy as its also unit 17!

    How do you know what to write in the exam when you know all the content but different stuff come up?

      The questions are structured in a way that makes it usually clear what content to mention

      use lots of example of previous health campaigns and how they link to each point on the spec!

    What sort of jobs can u do with this qualification.
    Is it possible to do radiography xx

      You can do Radiotherapy but not normally Radiography (Diagnostic) unless you have a Science A Level as well or you do Applied Science BTEC. It's good for things like Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, sometimes Law, Midwifery, Physio, Criminology. Most health science courses will take HSC as long as its DDD/DDM for grades!

      Hi, im looking to do radiography too at uni. Not all unis accept health and social care but some do. Just check the uni requirements because im applying for radiography and im currently in the second year of health and social care.

    Hi Im doing gcse health and social and I’m not sure how the overall grade is been give I have done 3 course work and one external exam paper.I found out on 3 course I got 2D and 1 M and if I get a M in my exam paper what could the overall grade be?

      @@saskiahdlt they are both 50% 50% equal however I’ve asked my teacher before and she said there is a possibility to get D overall I mean I want to get a D but getting a M is not bad aswell but I’m curious with the grade that I have now is the less then 10% of me getting a pass

      @@Daily_Islamic_post maybe if your exam is a high merit (closer to D) then you come out with a D, but if its a lower merit you would get a M
