I'm actually doing a c-tech on health and social care and on my first practice test I got a merit, and it made me cry, since everyone in my class got distinction, but I hope in the actual test I get a distinction
Health and social care is too easy. its not a hard subject, but it is very hard due to how demotivatingthis subject actually is. I was forced to do BTECS due to missing education.. You can easily complete a course work unit in around 20hrs with 30 hrs of revision
80-100 pages long?? girl i don’t even get past 10 half the time HOWW do you write so much I get thru it and don’t know what else to write luckily i still get a distinction out of that but geeeeez 😭😭😭 Edit: I start my level 3, year 2 in September too so wish me luck 😭
hey im on my second year of level 3 health and social care.do you have any more advice on the unit 4 exam im struggling to find ways to revise it and understand it.
If anyone has any questions about year 12 health and social care just ask me. I got a distinction for my first year so I can try and help but I can’t give answers (as you could be done for plagiarism)
Hi, unit 4 (the scicency one) is really tripping me up I have always struggled with science so I’m stressing about it because it’s sooo hard😭😭 how was you able to remember everything x
How’d you get a distinction in the Unit 7 assignment for duty of care? I’m finding that one difficult as I seen a Distinction example my teacher sent me which is around 50 pages!
What courseworks did you do? And can you pleaseee send it to me as an example I won’t plagiarise obviously but I can reword it and stuff! I’ll even pay for it😩
You can do Radiotherapy but not normally Radiography (Diagnostic) unless you have a Science A Level as well or you do Applied Science BTEC. It's good for things like Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, sometimes Law, Midwifery, Physio, Criminology. Most health science courses will take HSC as long as its DDD/DDM for grades!
Hi, im looking to do radiography too at uni. Not all unis accept health and social care but some do. Just check the uni requirements because im applying for radiography and im currently in the second year of health and social care.
Hi Im doing gcse health and social and I’m not sure how the overall grade is been give I have done 3 course work and one external exam paper.I found out on 3 course I got 2D and 1 M and if I get a M in my exam paper what could the overall grade be?
as i'm not sure which version of the bect you're doing i dont know! is the exam worth more than the coursework - if so i assume you come out with a M?? maybe this link will help - qualifications.pearson.com/en/support/support-topics/results-certification/understanding-marks-and-grades/using-the-next-generation-btec-nqf-grade-calculator.html

hiya so i used the revision guide and it was really helpful for me! breaks everything down nice and small for me to understand!
tbh it’s just Unit 4 exam and the unit 8 CW that confuses me
Same omg
I’ve done unit 8 it was confusing but luckily I got D on it
There were 2 papers to do I think or more and it was confusing
i was 3 marks away from distinction in unit 1 it really hurts the grade was higher this year 61 😔

whichever your teacher picks but i found dementia easy as its also unit 17!
