  • So here, we have two primary lines. Zero fall factor. Ascend and descend on the same system. Both systems are identically run. Now granted, we have a hitch for the progress capture so, admittedly, this causes some challenges for the “hardline connect” mindset. But think about how cool this would be if this equipment shortfall was successfully completed! Given that thought, a two primary system or mirrored system is in the not so distant future.

    One of my primary goals in any system I set up is how easy is it to self rescue. That informs the decisions I make in the gear I am using and how it is set up. Setting it up this way even pluck off rescues become relatively easy as all the rescue tech needs to do is to descend and then operate the system as it exists and already set up. Rig for rescue for the win. Your second demonstrated set up is great, satisfies my inner rig for rescue compulsion. ;) Great work guys, keep it up.
