If there were ever a commander product to reprint it would be LOTR. The singles from the precons were getting ridiculous. It's probably to the point where any Elven Council precon you can find should be ripped for triage.
Store looks awesome! I could only imagine what you guys would do with a 5000sqft store! Your only a short 1,163 miles away... Maybe one day a road trip may be in order! =)
I’ve followed you since the Rogue Deckbuilder days. I loved your content! Do you remember a RUclips channel, maybe from a decade ago, they had a daily card shop life video. I’m drawing a blank on the name right now… Darium’s TCGs was the store name maybe? Anyway, it was pretty good content of the day in the life of a card store. I am not sure that there is a channel that does that currently. I used to watch another that did videos of their FNM’s and various game nights and provided Pro Tour style commentary. It was pretty cool. I don’t think it’s around anymore either.
That was one of my favorite RUclips series, I still go back and watch the videos. Relics Revisited is what they changed to the channel name to, but they still have a playlist of all their Card Shop Life videos.
I don’t know how Pokemon could do another price increase. The increased on everything last year for the Scarlet and Violet generation and even 151 sold below msrp for a long time. Shrouded Fable ETBs msrp of $49.99 and selling for $35 within a week. They actually did keep everything in stock from the previous generations at the old msrp and prices never increased until they were out of stock.
The thing with Commander is it seems like it would be harder to get new players into because if i walk in on a pod of three friends who already play with each other regularly... What are the odds im not getting hammered? At least with a 1v1 format i expect it heck thats what i expect
I absolutely agree.. Commander is miserable to play and a horrible format lol!! With your points in the later part of the video I think commander has really affected sales. When you and I were playing standard we needed to dig up 4 of a money card and then reboot every two years. Commander has no rotation to force sales. It also forces cards to be compared to all cards in mtg for a slot in the deck and that has lead to creep or just a lack of interest in huge amounts of cards. Lastly I absolutely agree with you that it has just sucked the life out of all the other formarts.

The problem with commander is the players are a little delusional and everybody’s power level of their deck as a seven…
They need to stop re print. So we can make some cash to be able to buy new products.

I'm curious to know if the sample packs still contains the exclusive borderless foils that were printed in them on the first print.

@@RickKoeppen Nice! Thanks for the info, I’ll make sure to check them out again and revisit some of their older videos.
Zach does need his own segment!
Those one piece decks were bad, but now since its topping, i think there will be demand for them because they are actually good this format
Which cards are good from them?
Zach is adoreable ...his deck box showing was my highlight.
These “card shop life” videos with some insight and ranting/ramblings are great

I hope to make it to your store sometime
DO IT
I've definitely seen smaller stores.
Just found your channel and subbed. How much for the whole set of LotR commander reprints?
Think these were $155

too bad non commander is dying quick.
It was dead, huge revival in the last few months. Just check out standar/pioneer/modern price gains
How does your store count as a tiny store? Looks pretty extensive from here. :)

Commander is the format people play, it's the biggest driving force in singles now. Commander has become magic.
@@sussygamer3581 I agree it has. I don't think MTG is better off now though.
