It’s usually pretty solid, but I have lost some recruits for absolutely no reason.
I forget who they are by the time I reach the portal.. I just don’t like that shady shifting late in recruiting players you been investing time into..
The worst thing is that it never works the other way, unless a visit is involved, whereas other teams will steal my guys last minute with no visit

My first season with San Jose state I watched atleast 1 or 2 guys per week get sniped by Oregon or UCLA even though I had a massive lead on all of them

I did Temple and have lost so many recruits to Syracuse of all schools 😭
Just make sure your swaying and hard selling as soon as it comes available after you sent the house, I’ve got a lot of guys I wanted when I’ve done this over just sending the house
Pick I would say 5-10 5 stars if you are a big school. Then go look at 4 star run stopper/pass coverage/scrambler/Physical Athletes they seem to generally be monsters for some reason and start recruiting there.
Dude demonstrate this with a low school not a powerhouse like Georgia
You don’t want instant commits at a lower ranked school. The guys listing you first are probably 2 stars. 🤣
@cory8080 yeah not too much of a benefit of insta committing 2 stars to be honest, it won’t save you many hours bc you would be using those hours for 3/4 stars anyways.
You gotta established the low star school which takes a few years before you can get a instacommit unless you want 2 star recruits then go for it but you have to build your coach abilities and such up first
You gotta improve your pipelines. I'm UB and 3 years in, I'm finally getting early interest from 4 and 5 stars.
you can get them if you're in the lead after putting some hours in. I have done it with 3 and 4 stars with Jax St
I think you’re over thinking some of it. If a player has you 1st on their list and you offer, a dice roll says if they’ll commit or not. Higher odds with the Dream School perk. EA didn’t put any more thought in to it than that.
are you sure insta commit is possible without the dream school perk?

It's exactly what it is bro. If it were that case I couldn't get any with Miami I don't have dream school and I still had 1st class 3 straight years 12,12,13 5 stars, 23,23,22 4 stars. I restarted and dumbed it down. I can't cheese like that year 2 it got too easy back to back national champs undefeated seasons on heisman. That's with averaging 2 picks a game with my QB lol. I threw 26 and 26
I dumbed it down to I have to find gems I can't recruit until I found 3 gems 5 stars and 12 4 stars. Year 2 and 3 I got like 4 insta commits first recruiting.
You can save before you offer then reload and try again until you get that instant commit you really want.
This is an option if you are in offline league
It’s definitely like rolling dice, I’ve had up to 12 insta commits (a combination of 5 and 4 stars) in the first week. Some seasons I only get 4.
It is like rolling dice, but you def need certain conditions for it to even occur.

I got 9 with Michigan in week 0 in my 32 user Dynasty. I went after 1st in interest players who were also high in my pipeline and also very close to making a decision meaning the bar was pretty close to full.

Just check their dev traits and go based off that. The gem players will have better devs than normal

Love the game recruiting is so easy though my last class had 12 5 stars four where green gem. Plus 18 all top 100 and below 4 stars 9 green gems, that's basically five stars, my worse one was 100 highest overall prospect. My current class I am working on has 8 five stars 2 gems and 11 four star 5 gems in week 7 of season. Also why in the hell is create a prospect in this name I mean that was the best part of the last game
I would fight for a 3 star gym over a 5 or 4 star bust(red gym lol) their dev trait is prob better and will progress better overall.
I don’t really recruit any red gems anymore, no chance at a good dev is useless to me. I would only recruit them if I’m trying to unlock the elite recruiter tab and need top classes
How noticeably different is having that ceo skill to improve the of chance of an instant commit? There's no percentage behind it so it's a question mark
Georgia far and away gets the most high profile insta commits with ease, so I think it def helps.

I just cheese it. I make an offer for scholarship and if they don't instant I just press and hold ps button and close the game without saving. I just keep loading and retrying until I get what I want

@@PoodleGaming I’m Pitt and even in my third year I had 0 players as their No. 1 interest initially. So no reason for me to even get that perk yet I guess.
Is offering a scholarship something I should do later if they won’t be an insta? I’ve had a couple good seasons at Arkansas State, and I’m trying to get my recruits up, but some 5 Stars start the offseason committed to a school. I have the first tier of the recruiting abilities maxed out, and I still feel like I’m falling to the wayside on the top tier talent. Even with sending the house, great visits, and early scholarship offers. I haven’t been able to do the hard/soft sell due to hours. Is it really a good tool?
I feel u im playing with Arkansas in my Dynasty. 3 year back 2 back Nattys in state guys have me number 1 through out. I have lost a ton of big talent to shitty Ole Miss

I was always wondering when I'm in week 3 or 4 and I have no commits but yet some teams already have 8 to 10
Insta recruits, plus some guys that are near insta recruits and can be locked up quickly

Not instant commit related but to get a guy who decommits from another school n u r #2 on his list do u have to keep them on ur board? Or they can still do it even if u take them off? Will it happen at the end of the year? Or it can happen weekly?

In my opinion, I think you should leave them on your board. Otherwise if you remove them, you pull the scholarship.
I also think the de commits can happen whenever (weekly)

You don’t need CEO, it just gives you an extra boost.
Couldn’t you just wait until week one or two, drops some points onto 4 and 5 stars without giving them a scholarship and give them a scholarship after you are their 1?
If it doesn’t work tho, you may end up falling behind a bit pot tiredly
@@PoodleGaming yeah I tried it a little bit and it’s really not worth it. The weekly points from the scholarship is so big and the chance for an insta commit is too small for it to be do able. You could maybe get one per season but you have a better chance going all in on the guys you want instead of scheming to have a chance to get more players.
If you dont use your scholarship, get to first then offer, can you still get the insta committ?
I haven’t tested that yet.
Yes. You can start off without even being on their board and work your way up to the top of their board over a few weeks before sending the scholly offer and get the insta-commit then.

The point was to showcase the CEO package, and honestly mostly only the top tier programs will get insta recruits consistently.

I had a 4 star 5'9 deep threat 95 speed WR insta commit @ South Carolina. Had impact dev trait as a 75 overall Freshman

@@PoodleGaming ya mostly woth Georgia and Wisconsin lot of Insta Commits which arnt terrible but that’s something I noticed with smaller schools it’s juts like why not to get it started
@samhrdlicka1387 I think 3/4 star insta commits are a great strategy to kick off the class, gives you depth and saves you hours. If you are a big program, only get a few, small programs should take what they can get.
