Rishika, you are indeed a rockstar! As someone committed to 'Energy Conservation', your multidirectional perspective to the field of ecology, sustainability and all matters linked to them was mind boggling!! In matters linked to subjects like carbon credit etc., I am really shocked to see the kind of organizations that are entrusted with audit and certification that is central to commercial implementation. Sudipto, you did such a wonderful job of bringing out the best of Rishika. Thanks indeed.

Fantastic questions and great discussion. The FRA was passed by UPA - I. Compared to the current state of our politics, a rare instance of reasonably liberal legislation. And even while the rights were granted, the institutions meant to operationalize the rights were close to non-existent. Forest dependent communities remained largely under the control of the Forest Department goons-officers. The current regime has only strengthened this dumb casteist-classist police regime. Not to speak of pristine Brahmanical environmentalism and the brand new cheetah-importing Hindutvavadis!

Thank you for addressing so many of the layers that comes with environmental reporting, most importantly putting the people in highlight.
